A few months ago I'd been looking to get into vaping as an alternative to smoking. Happened to stumble upon this place and decided to walk in and see what they were about. A few months later, and this is the only vape shop I'll go to. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I've been to other shops where the staff will try and push mechanical mods and rebuildables on people who are new to vaping and are in way over their heads, but not here. You give them a general idea of what you're looking for, and they work with you from there. They lay your options out and let you make a decision as opposed to telling you what's best. Their inventory is solid. On the off chance you want a product that they don't currently have on hand, they'll order it for you and let you know when it's arrived. Inventory is constantly rotating and they always have new juices coming in. They're not the biggest vape shop around and they're relatively new, but they definitely take care of their clientele. Pathetic. The first time I went into this shop I was lucky enough to be helped by a decent human being. Sadly I cannot say the same for my most recent and last visit. I went into the shop to buy a single vape pod, but was instead sold a used one. I could tell by the amount of syrup in the pod and the fact that it was already opened. I didn't realize this however until I was back at home. So I went back in to confront the problem. This time there was another man there who may or may not actually work at the place, but I have seen him there before playin video games with the other employee. When I brought up the fact that I was not satisfied with this used pod and that I wanted a refund he threateningly asked if, "I wanted to get my ass beat." Let me just start out by saying that I never do reviews, ever. But after coming to Better Cloud Vapor (BCV), I felt compelled to do so (and start a Yelp account). The reason being, is that this shop is just Awesome! I now only go here for all of my, and my wife's vaping needs. I've been to other shops in the east bay, but I never got a good vibe off of them, as their customer service was lacking, and so was their knowledge, and product inventory; therefore, I now only shop at BCV. The staff at BCV is amazing, and their customer service is top notch! BCV is great in that they carry a great product selection of mods/ecigs, their juices are premium-grade (their house juices are stellar as well!), and their customer service is the best! If you are new to vaping, the staff at BCV will drop crazy knowledge on you, and help you find a device that meets your exact needs. I'm relatively new to vaping, but the staff at this shop helped me solve all of my vaping needs with their knowledge, and as a result, I have been off of tobacco products for 3 months, with no desire to smoke again whatsoever. Hands down, the best vape shop in town. I used to be obsessed with Kool Apple, you could not find me Vaping any other juice nor can you find one comparable to it. In my opinion, of course. Came here and tried their Juicy Pear by Vape Kitchen and omg I didn't know what love was until that very moment. These guys go ALL OUT for their customers. I went in for some coils and a new clearomizer and they hooked it up with some free extras. Another customer walked in after me and they didn't have what he was looking for so they gave him something that would let him continue using his vape until his parts arrived. It's this type of customer service and genuine willingness to help out others and to ensure that they are satisfied beyond that of their own needs that I am coming back to this place. Another thing that these guys do is that they let you sample their flavors using ACTUAL rda's! Other places use cartomizers or other cheap ass vapes that kill the flavor. What a crazy shop this is! While most corner stores are just beginning to jump onto the soon-to-be monster craze of vaping nicotine (inhale liquid nicotine, exhale harmless water vapor), these guys are so far ahead of their time they should be wearing spacesuits. I've been vaping (no analogs) for about 2 years now and considered myself fairly knowledgeable about all areas of the subject, but after conversing with the employees here, my head will start swimming worse than 24mg dripped straight to my head. They. Know. Their. Ish. One of the guys helpfully offered to bust out a chart he has of Ohm's law for Christ's sake! There is nowhere in at least a 50 mile radius that even begins to touch the knowledge, skill, and selection these people offer. It should be made clear, this store is heavily tuned for "mods", or really fancy, huge vape units that are made to be one of a kind through customization and tinkering. They do sell some typical consumer stuff like Kanger atomizers and basic batteries, but buying that stuff here is like going to a custom car shop and asking to have your oil changed. Their focus is on an enormous flavor selection, hard to find custom parts, and customer service. Unfortunately the flavors tend to be mainly 6 or 12mg, as that is what you want when you use drip-tips, they wick of choice for these mods. Any more and you'll start having head spins! Once you do find a flavor you like (and it's impossible not to, it seems like they have 100 or so, all exotic), they do offer to "nic it up" for you to achieve the ~16mg you may have been looking for. If you thought Vaporden had a good selection, be prepared to splooge in your pants. The service is outstanding, not just for a vape store, but for ANY store. They are helpful, but not pushy. They are knowledgeable, but aren't trying to show off. They really want to explain their hobby to you so that you like it as much as they do. Sometimes there are a lot of people in there, but I've never felt that awkward vibe like you just interrupted someone's BS session by being a consumer. It's almost like a gun store, without the overdose of testosterone. Crazy good flavors, good selection (if you know what you are up for), and priceless information. They will rebuild your unit for either free or $5, I always give them $5 because they do a perfect job. My hats off to Better Cloud for being the most innovative new business in the East Bay. If you can get more people into drip-tips by continuing to provide excellent customer service, you have a very bright future ahead! read more

However my friend returned when he had a Pod that he was sold that was a 1.7% nicotine batch when he asked for 5% and the pod he was given was out of it's package and below the fill line. He came back to return it, believing the manufacturer may be at fault but the shopkeeper I had seen the previous day was there with a friend and very unprofessionally they tried to intimidate us saying "do you want to get beat" "keep walking, keep walking" after we left the store he followed us out. I came here with one of my best friends to pick up some juice on our way back home. I don't know many vape shops since I moved down to socal 4 years ago, but when I get a chance to go to new ones, it's always surprising how many different flavors they have. This spot is super hidden in a small plaza but very cozy. The employees there are pretty awesome and knows the flavors very well.
