Now I have to keep working to find someone / somewhere that can just fix a piece of broken piece of glass on my iPhone that still works fine.

Made appointment three days in advance and drove to Berkeley and parked in $3 parking lot only to find that Joe flaked out and didn't show. To his credit, he managed to leave a text at 11:25 for our 11:45 appointment, which I couldn't read while driving. Just said, "Sorry, an issue came up today. I won't be available until Monday...." So, drove 25 minutes to get to Berkeley, paid $3 for parking, only to be stiffed. This rates as one of the worst experiences with service that I have ever had. THIS FELLOW IS AN INCONSIDERATE FLAKE. Still, Black Dude is awesome enough that I still go to him for my all my cell phone accessories. Sometimes, I head to Ashby Flea market just to get something from him. This happens often as the life expectancy of a cell phone in my hands is alarmingly short, so the need for new accessories to match happens frequently in my life. But let's not get distracted by this painfully embarrassing tangent. The point is that Black Dude is quick, efficient, and always of good humor. He knows his stuff - even with the ever changing and growing selection of cellphones on the market, and keeps a portable battery on hand to show you that he indeed is selling you the right charger. Finally... the thing that makes him a wonderful man to me... he's always down to save you hella bucks. Last time, he sent me off with a home charger and a car charger for just $11! Of course, he charged me $20 for the plastic bag, but I told him I would come back with that money "later". ;)

Apple Store on Fourth Street is a nice place to come inside to. There are parking meters nearby the store which are 30 minutes or 2 hours (suggestion: park at the two hour one). I have gone to this location many times including after I had gotten off work. I have gotten my Macbook fix at this location when I schedule an appointment with them.
