I thought I was using it wrong, so I took it back to the store and asked the person behind the counter to plug it in there and see if it worked before trying to exchange it. He didn't want to plug it in to see if it would work (pretty sure he was high - which is fine as long as you can still do your job, but he was distracted and all over the place) but offered an exchange (would not give me a refund). They didn't have my unit in stock so he told me I could come back or pay more for a different unit. I didn't think I should have to pay more for something I bought that didn't work just because they didn't have the original in stock. He called his manager to see if they could offer me a different kind - and spent an hour on the phone with her going back and forth. I was really pissed to have to wait that long while they argued about what to do. He finally offered me a different unit that was on the floor. I took it to get out of there. Guess what, it didn't work either!!! So I'm out $200 for something that doesn't work which they will not refund or exchange for a working product. They also own Cigarette Depot and the other smoke shop on the same street. I try not to shop at any of the stores because I can't support their policies and customer service. I'm really disappointed. I've spent so much money at Happy Daze AND cigarette depot.

I frequented this shop for several years between 2000 and 2015, initially for cigars, and later for…read morepipes and pipe tobacco. I was always impressed with the selection of cigars in their walk-in humidor, and when I switched to a pipe, their selection of pipes (I bought a couple of pipes, including a very nice meerschaum) as well as tobacco. I recall getting several ounces once, of a dark rope (I'm thinking Samuel Gawith, perhap Gawith and Hoggarth), when the proprietor jokingly suggested I might need a nite from my mom (I was over 50 at the time), due to its strength! I invariably enjoyed my visits, always chatting with the folks running the shop. Unfortunately, I've forgotten the name of the fellow who ran it, who had been a biochemist in an earlier life. He did have a very personable young lady assisting whose name may have been Keely (but I'm bad with names). I moved from the area in 2016, and gave up smoking altogether in 2019, but have nothing but fond memories of the times I visited them.

They have a lot of pipes, and different products for smoking green "tobacco" type a stuff, and they have hoodies and other clothing, but that isn't why I spend my money with them. A pack of smokes, maybe a junk food snack, a quick and friendly exchange, and keep it pushin' like a sofa cushion. I would much rather visit their shop than any of the nearby likka stos. Came into Hi Fidelity Cannabis expecting a chill dispensary experience, but the manager completely…read morekilled the vibe. Staff seemed nervous around him and when I asked a simple question about products, he responded with attitude like I was wasting his time. The flower was decent, but customer service matters too -- especially in a place that markets itself as welcoming and premium. There's a difference between being direct and being rude. I left feeling uncomfortable instead of wanting to come back. If management treated customers with a little more respect, this place could actually be solid.
