While they might excel at direct remediation tasks, things became more complicated when they involved a third-party contractor. My advice? If you're considering Servpro, be cautious when it comes to allowing them to subcontract any portion of the work. Here's why: Lack of Clarity: Despite commencing remediation work, I was not informed about the need to involve a separate contractor, let alone the role Servpro would play in that equation. Communication Breakdown: After Servpro's recommendation of a contractor, I was left without any contact details. Throughout the process, my efforts to maintain clear lines of communication felt like navigating a maze without an exit. Delayed and Ineffective Solutions: While temporary fixes were applied (like a tarp for just one day), these efforts were short-lived, resulting in further water damage. Despite multiple efforts on my part to address the issue, including reaching out to their team and the adjuster, a timely and effective solution remained elusive. Health Matters: As a direct result of the delays and inadequate fixes, mold continues to persist, compromising the air quality in my home and potentially jeopardizing the health of my family. Closing Thoughts: I was also asked to sign terms and conditions before the job was complete, a move I found questionable considering the state of the remediation. In conclusion, while I cannot speak for every experience with Servpro, I'd urge future customers to be diligent. If contractors are to be involved, I recommend considering an alternative or being hands-on in managing the process to avoid potential pitfalls. The picture below can account for how the job was left for over one month during our stormy weeks in July/August. The owner Rick Northen did offer to remediate the problem but this was too little too late, ServPro has kept insurance funds and I am now paying out of pocket together with my medical bills due to the mold. If I could give less than one star I would but this is a warning to anyone considering this less…read morethan professional company. 1/13: We were told the Servpro crew would be arriving between 1-3 that day to remove equipment and that if they didn't pick it up that day I would want them to wait till Wednesday 1/16 as the house would be empty due to us being out of town. The crew did not show up and also earlier that morning around 10am one of the workers very unprofessionally knocked on our door trying to use our restroom. 1/16-1/17: Without our consent Servpro entered our apartment. They left dirty footprints all across our kitchen and bathroom (which was obviously used by at least one of the crew as we were missing toilet paper and the toilet itself was dirted, unplugged our internet equipment though not anywhere near the affected areas, tried on and broke $2,000+ sunglasses, we were missing between $100-$130 in cash which had been left on a desk and our apartment was unlocked when we arrived at 8AM on Wednesday morning 1/17. We had attempted to reach out multiple times to the Servpro office working at the apartments as well as the onsite manager. Avery (the onsite manager) when we received a call back hours later had stated he would give us the names of the people who had entered our apartment as we would be filing a police report for damages once he arrived that day for a walk through. Again they did not show up. 1/18: Avery and the servpro crew arrived to do a walk through but again he stonewalled and said he hadn't gotten the names together and would get back to us. After taking their equipment they left our apartment extremely dirty with dusty boot prints covering our living room and kitchen floors. Current update: Avery now is refusing to give the names of the crew who entered our apartment unless specifically asked for after we file the police report. Either way we will be filing for the 2k plus damages and are outraged by the lack of professionalism by Servpro. Unless you want your personal belongings damaged, a lack of respect shown to you by "management" and less than satisfactory work DO NOT EVER hire them.

I had to sign a release for them to bleach the shirt. When I picked up the shirt it had the same brown spots on it and they charged me AGAIN for the cleaning. I will toss the shirt and go elsewhere.
