With lots of parking, on a convenient intersection right off of I-5 and near the Woodburn Outlets, it's very convenient to stop here. And it's spotless - even the bathroom! Really have no idea how so many people have given this store a low rating. I'm an inner City girl, live downtown Portland and have to walk past multiple tents and step over people to get in Walgreens, harassed for money to and from my car. People, seriously, be thankful! Picked up some items I needed, and grabbed some dark chocolate covered marshmallows Easter eggs because the basket in my kitchen counter somehow got raided! Those working here were are friendly and were delighted when I told them how impressed I was with the store. She was so excited to get them developed, so I went in with her and showed her how to order prints. When she picked them up, she was charged about $10 for processing and a cd. Sadly, the envelope included two dark blurry prints, the cd and a note that said the roll was exposed. She was extremely upset about her pictures not turning out and the added insult of having to pay for nothing. I took the envelope back to the store and talked to the manager, who went above and beyond to apologize and make things right. He said staff is supposed to check each order and call customers when things like that happen. He apologized profusely and promptly refunded the cost of developing and added points for our trouble to the new MyWalgreens rewards program. This is what customer service looks like to me!

I called the store, explained to her my desperation "and can you order 48 for me?" "The (Dritz) vendor was just here, I'll see if I can catch him!" She called me back, and told me she left him a message. "It will have to be Monday, or when I will hear back from him", she added. (I waited 2 days). She was prompt in getting back with a good news & a bad news. To make the story short, I was satisfied with the good news, they have 20 packages on their way to the store and then left me a message when I could go pick them up! I was really excited, even told her I'll add a Star on my review on YELP, for getting back to me so fast. 30 miles back to Molalla, I went straight to the manager inquiring him about my snaps and are being on hold out in the back room He told me: "you're pretty lucky to get this at a low price since she did looked them up online and she had been charging them TOO LOW!" But after paying for them, and are halfway back home, I found out, she had jacked up the price from $1.29 to $2,79. Fabric Depot or Joan's Fabric were selling theirs $.10-$.20 cents cheaper than that! So why did they do that to me, when I could have ordered them from other stores? If it weren't for me, wanting 48 packages more, they would have continued to sell their products @ a lower price, but I gave them a wake up call, so they CAN RAISE THEIR PRICE UP FOR me? Or was that a mistake to raise their price up AFTER I'VE LEFT! But this is not the end, wait till my Credit Card company hears about this one! Not a happy camper! UPDATE: I called the store & talked to the manager. My box CLEARLY stated how much I was supposed to be charge $1.29 each, and the cashier rung them up by scanning them. I may have had one positive interaction with one person once (my first time in?), but all subsequent interactions have evidenced poor customer service. It is as though the person behind the counter is reluctantly doing business with you and you should be glad they are dealing with you at all. 2. The entire staff has been slow, and in addition they seem to have inefficient processes overall. For example in the few times I have been there to pick up Rx's, they were out of one medication entirely and simply could not fill it. Another: they could not fill while I was waiting, I had to come back the next day with only two customers in the whole store! There can be literally ONE customer in the pharmacy and you are still waiting a long time for your Rx to be filled. They like to be warned a day in advance you would like a Rx refill. I don't think that is unreasonable, so long as your not requiring this because your simply to slow to meet a walk-in need in real time. 3. It is a weirdly stocked store. Not that I care because I don't go there for any other reason but Rx's, but whomever is managing their in-store merchandizing must be busy doing almost anything else, you can't help but notice as you stand there during one of your long waits... 4. He just said, "yeah, she should have called." That's it. If they knew there was a problem, why wasn't that relayed to all employees and consequently, to customers?
