I called the pharmacy to get a prescription refilled. It is a schedule 2 drug, so there must be person to person contact. When calling in for assistance, I was on hold more than an hour before the call dropped TWICE. I went to the pharmacy. Then I waited in line for 30 -45 minutes, and then the pharmacy closed before I got to the window. This has been happening at this location for more than 6 months. It seems obvious that it is a staffing issue, hours cut drastically from 7 days a week, 9-9, to M-F 9-6. I can only blame corporate policy for the low staffing. read more

When you're told to come back 6 times for a prescription refill only to be told the system is down or they closed early. No notifications of my meds ready despite broken promises. Do not go here. No one should wait a week to get their medicine. read more

This particular location is struggling. There have been several times they just straight up don't know where my meds are. Once, I called to see if a particular med was ready because I needed it for the following day (when they'd be closed) and was told it's ready. I get there and a different tech tells me she has no idea what I'm talking about, she doesn't see a prescription at all, ope, just kidding, found it! She loudly says what the medication is so the other 20 people in line at this point could hear and I'm mortified, and for some reason, even though it's ready, I have to sit and wait some more until the pharmacist is ready to do a "consult" which is basically him hurriedly giving me information I already know which seems like a waste of time for both of us. That was just one bad visit. There have been others. Walgreens as a whole has the worst pharmacy hours out of all of them, so good luck getting meds if you need them on a weekend! read more

While traveling across the country, I lost a few days' worth of my daily medicine. After being on hold for nearly 15 mins (not so bad), I went in, and it got much worse. First, the pharmacy folk ignored me for a while and then were really rude and unhelpful. Luckily, I found my meds in my luggage later because there was no way this person would listen to my issue or help me. I'd rather drive across town, or even to another city, rather than visit this Walgreens location again. I use a big corporate pharmacy, rather than my local independent shop, in case of issues like this, but this was one of the worst Walgreens experiences I've had after being a regular customer for my entire adult life. read more

For the last 4 months I've noticed the floor in the Pharmacy was filthy with hair, scrunchies, bottle cap and coated mop boards. I've seen barns cleaner than that. I asked to to talk to the manager. A Supervisor or Manager named Amy, took my complaint. she was very helpful and respectful. Amy is an asset to your Company. Yes, these last 20 months have been very stressful for everyone and staffing issues are a problem for many companies. It's not too much to ask of a Pharmacy to have a dust free, clean floor. I you have a maintenance crew, fire them. Also, I walked out to my car, and had to dodge used Cue-Tips, your parking lot needs cleaning. For heavens sake, hire a good cleaning crew for the building and parking lot. read more

Very poor customer service. I have been waiting over a week for my meds, only to find out the pharmacy is closed. I have transferred my meds to another business. I would give less than one star if I could read more

The employees are usually nice and the products are good but it's in horrible location. There are a bunch of crack/meth heads all over it. And that's because they give them free needles. Every time I go here I'm scared because the crack heads will follow you or look at you funny. Be careful if you come here ! read more

We called in and asked if the prescription was ready to pick up and then came in two days later. They had already returned it to stock and had me wait 15 minutes to pick up. I won't be using this pharmacy again. Horrible. read more

Went to Walgreens this am to get a flu shot. Sign by the front door said Walk-ins Welcome. "NOT" Went to pharmacy and ask to get a flu shot. We were told we had to make an appointment. We were the only ones their but still couldn't get a shot. If walk-ins are not welcome then do not post a sign saying that they are. GO FIGURE. read more

I love this LOCATION and these employees. I can come in from home blocks away looking as i am whatever that may be and no judgement, they know me I know them. Walk into sunnyview on lancaster location with sunglasses on and a scarf all the sudden i am being followed as they call the code to watch me..until i get to pay and pull my wallet out and you hollar over my shoulder all is fine.. YES.. Cindy... or whatever your name was.. all is well over here. I PAY.. (I just cant be out without eyebrows? haha... Was wild.) FOR SO MANY REASONS. State street Walgreens takes the cake as far as I'm concerned Customer service hands down the best. It matters... Bennett, Manuel- the red hair tall lady who is always so helpful. Terrible experience. They are giving covid vaccine in filthy doorway of employee entrance. Floor covered with dirt and hair, looks as if never mopped. The back of door was very dirty. They sat me in front of trash can for injection. Afterward i had to ask for bandaid to cover injection site. I have a weakened immune system. NOT sanitary at all. read more

I had what I consider a dire situation with my father-in-law. He is diabetic, had high blood pressure and told me the supplies bought for his glucometer did not fit (they were purchased at Walmart after 4 people stated: I think these will work). He had not been checking his glucose level for weeks due to the Pandemic. I checked the pictures I had taken with my phone, reviewed them carefully on line and called Walgreens. The Pharmacist told me they had the correct supplies and if I still had questions she would be glad to help. Upon arrival at Walgreens we were treated with respect and the Pharmacist made 100% sure the lancets were correct. I will definitely return and instructed my father-in-law to do the same (right after he used his glucometer successfully). Thank you, Walgreens for being the calm in this storm. read more

The two pharmacy employees we dealt with were not good in their own way. The first was so angry to be working, it seethed outta her skin. She was so rude to the elderly lady in front of me, and when it was my turn, just gave cold stares. The second guy, failed to return my debit card to me. So halfway home, luckily I realized it and turned back. Now where this Walgreens is situated (State and Lancaster), entry/exit is NOT easy. I will not be back to this location. Super UGH. read more

Walgreens never has enough checkers. I was there today, and two people walked out because of the line. This store is near a bus stop where lots of mental cases get on and off. I felt sorry for the lone checker. She called for another checker, but nobody appeared. Typical for this location. read more

by far the WORST PHARMACY ON THE PLANET! I took a script in on Wednesday, my doc wrote instructions on the script and the date to fill it since he was going to be out of town. I took the script to Walgreens to have filled....thats where the nightmare started. 1. they didnt have enough of the med. I was told they would order it and it would be in the following day, Thursday. 2. I call Thursday...nope, none ordered...will be done Friday. 3. I call Friday. at this point I am out of the medication. I have Lupus so its kinda important I take it regularly. this time I was told it was 2 days too early to fill and the doc had to call to okay it. I explained that he had changed the frequency of the med from 4x daily to 6x daily and he wrote on it to fill on Wednesday. they insisted he call. I told them he was out of town. I asked to come get the script and I would take it to my regular pharmacy. I was told no. because of the kind of med...they MUST be the ones to fill it and I could under NO CIRCUMSTANCES retrieve the script. 4. saturday my daughter calls...I can fill it there on monday, no sooner without the doc calling. 5. Monday...I have been without the med for 3 days. NOT GOOD. my doc calls and rakes them over the coals! he wrote the directions on the script, there was NO REASON for me to suffer all weekend. I call the pharmacy after my doc tells me he called them. THEY DID NOT ORDER THE MED AND I NEED TO PICK UP THE SCRIPT AND TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE! NOW, didnt I ask to do that and was told no? didnt the doc write directions that were ignored? didnt I spend all weekend in needless agony only to be told, oh,we dont have it? WALGREENS IS THE WORST PHARMACY ON THE PLANET! After all this, they never apologized for ignoring the script, for my suffering, for lying to me, for me having to drive 27 miles ONE WAY to pick up the script, or for just screwing up period....not one "sorry" read more

Came in here to pick up some photos, there was nobody at the photo counter but somebody came by to help me within 30 seconds. Got my photos, paid (at Photo) and left quickly without issue. Although like the other reviewer stated there was a line of several people at the main check out line. Luckily for me I didn't have to wait in that line. read more
