But today I stopped to fill up my motorcycle. The gas station attendant hovered as men usually do (woman+motorcycle=) I told him I had done this many times before and I could handle it. I put the nozzle in the tank and compressed the handle. I was expecting the automatic shut off to pop the handle any second (2.4gallon tank) and... It didn't. My tank overflowed and the tank placement meant gasoline splashed on the seat and all down the center of the bike. It made my footrests slick, and riding somewhat treacherous. I pulled the nozzle and let the gas splash down on the pavement. Then, FINALLY the clunk of the auto shut off. Bike and ground covered in gas the attendant was completely nonplussed. He asked "do you want a paper towel". Nothing about putting the pump out of order, no concern about my having paid for gas evaporating off the pavement. He even had the nerve to tell me "well the gas can start up again if you move the nozzle too much". Seriously? Best part. After posting my review on Google, instead of making things right, the owner mocked me in their reply. Very cool. TL;DR You have a motorcycle? Go elsewhere. Gas is usually cheaper up at the Space Age anyways.
