Best Gas Prices in Town, usually busy and cowards but the price is right. In my opposition gas is gas, no matter the price.

Fast service, and one of the cheapest places for gas in town. Hard to get in and out of though, due to that super busy intersection.

Specifically caffeine-free Coke Zero in Super Big Gulp sized cups. Heaven. But difficult to find, almost never in the fountain, and rare in bottles in the refrigerated cases. Oh, the problems of the one-percent ... or, like me, the forty-percent :) My whining aside, I go into a lot of 7-Elevens, all over the place. This 7-Eleven is one of my favorite, because I think it is the poster child for the way neighborhood commercial convince stores should be. Clean, thoughtfully organized, well maintained, friendly staff, fast service, great prices, good selection. They really have a little bit of everything you are likely to need close at hand, including gasoline -- which can be paid for at the pump. Make sure you sign-up for 7-Eleven's loyalty program, 7Rewards. Every seventh fountain drink (or coffee) is free. Great job, #35352, don't ever change. Five Stars.

I went into the convenience store during my lunch break to grab a soda pop. I was told by the…read morecashiers that I could not have my backpack style handbag with me. Confused, I stepped back up towards the register, thinking they may want to look inside of it, which is not an issue. Then they told me I would have to leave it on top of the ice cream cooler. Do they ask all women to leave their purses there? Many women carry shoulder bags substantially larger than my bag is. I carry a back pack style bag to avoid shoulder and back injuries. This is a popular style of bag. It is not anywhere close to the size of a book bag a kid would have with them. I refused and left the store. Sorry, I'm not leaving my money, IDs, and credit cards unattended in an area I can't see. No beverage of any kind is worth that.

I wonder what it is about gas mini marts' daily operations or hierarchy that make employees think they can treat people with something like indifference or barely disguised contempt. Many years ago I worked for a Chevron mini mart as a cashier and I was never encouraged to be kind, in fact, I was encouraged to not stick my neck out for any customer. This attitude was encouraged by my manager and either approved by or ignored by the store owner. True, there are some real sketchy characters that come in at all hours of the day and night (tweakers, drunks, street walkers, and troublemakers) but as someone who works for a mini mart you have to judge on a case by case basis and not just treat the whole world like crap. It's still a service industry and that means treating people decently, with respect, and yes, kindness.
