I had to go back in the store every week after I reviewed my bill - to get refunds to correct wrong pricing. It's not the clerks fault, when they say. "It will all adjust at the end of your bill." That does not always happen at all. It's planned corporate greed. I quit. Costco does not make billing errors. I switched & I'm much happier. I only shop here for very few necessary items now. I was looking at items and came across several cans of nacho cheese sauce that expired over a year and a half ago. I brought them to the counter to the workers attention and explained how long ago they expired and I was told to put them back on the shelf! I was floored. I left them on the counter. After further inspection around the store, I noticed many of their items on the shelf looked terrible, moldy and have self printed expiration dates that are probably fake! Calling the health department asap! They really don't care about their customers. I DO not recommend eating here or purchasing anything from here unless you want to overpay to get SICK!

The produce section was actually very well stocked, as were the meat and seafood areas. In short, my grand daughter and i found everything we needed and didn't have to leave town to do so. This is my first convenient market review and never thought I would, but it was listed and I thought why not, someone needs to be recognized. It's a typical market with tobacco, sweets, beverages, snacks & fried food. We really only go there when we are passing through Lyons or need something like milk, butter or anything else we feel might be an emergency. It's on the corner, as the name states and easy to get in and out of. What makes this place special and worth mentioning is the wonderful lady that works the register. She could likely be the owner, but I've never taken the time to have an in depth conversation with her. From the time you walk in to when you exit, she is gabbing & babbling away about anything & everything and somehow making the whole experience very enjoyable. We find ourselves talking about her for many minutes/mile after leaving. Her personality is positively contagious. For me, these types of people/workers/characters can make or break an experience for the consumer, whether it's dining out, shopping or I guess even at a convenient store. I hope she works there as long as I go to that store. It's simply a pleasure! Thank you lady and I promise I'll make time to get to know you a little better with each future visit.
