I don't even know where to begin. So I'll just start from the beginning…read more What I thought was going to be a partial deck repair turned into a full reconstruction. And look -- that could have gone sideways real fast. Like, real fast. It didn't. Thank God. Here's the thing about this crew -- and I mean every single person who showed up -- they were just genuinely friendly. Not "we want your money" friendly. Actually friendly. The kind where you don't mind them being at your house for weeks. And on top of being friendly, they actually knew what they were talking about. I asked a lot of questions. Probably too many. Nobody fumbled. Nobody gave me the blank stare. Nobody redirected me to someone else. Just straight, confident answers from people who clearly know their craft. That goes for the construction crew, the painters, and the membrane repair team. All of them. Damn consistent across the board. Now -- I'll be real with you. Their quote came in a little higher than some of the other estimates we were getting. And yeah, I side-eyed it a little at first. But here's the thing -- the other quotes were coming from general contractors. And with something like this, I didn't want a generalist. I wanted a team that actually specializes in this kind of work. And that's exactly what I got. So honestly, the higher quote made complete sense once I thought about it. You're not paying more for the same thing -- you're paying for people who actually know what the hell they're doing at a deeper level than your average contractor. And as the project grew from a partial repair into a full deck reconstruction -- which, by the way, nobody saw coming -- the cost didn't blow up the way you'd expect it to. It stayed fair. It stayed honest. Nobody tried to squeeze extra money out of a situation that was growing by the week. When you zoom out and look at the whole picture, it's a no-brainer. You get what you pay for. And I couldn't be happier. Sammy and John were on it the whole time. Responsive, communicative, never left me hanging. And even after the project wrapped up and I came back with follow-up questions -- because I definitely did -- they were still right there. Patient, thorough, zero attitude. I had a lot of anxiety going into something this big, and somehow between Sammy's leadership and John keeping everything moving in the right direction, that anxiety just kind of... dissolved. Which, if you know me, is not easy to do. These guys just get it. Oh, and they cleaned up after themselves. Every single damn day. No nails. No debris. No "that's not my problem" energy. They treated my home like it was their own. Like, genuinely. I didn't have to ask once. Special shoutout to Sammy for always being reachable, to John for keeping the whole operation from going off the rails, and to Fernando, Armando, and Salvadore for their hard work and dedication on the ground -- these guys showed up every day and just handled their business. And honestly, the entire construction crew, the painters, and the membrane repair team deserve a shoutout too. Every single one of them showed up like it mattered. Because it did. These are good people doing great work and it shows. Most importantly -- I finally feel safe enjoying the outside of my home again. And honestly? That's everything.

I had an estimate that night. I wanted to compare to the quote from another company. Sammy was way more reasonable and I knew the quality I would get. Manuel arrived promptly Friday morning. He carefully protected my pavers and driveway gate before starting. The beautiful job, with careful attention to detail, was completed by early afternoon. A site visit was done by John, as a quality check, and he was great. I will continue to use EnviroTek for my decks and fences. Quality. Care. Value.

From the beginning, Giovanni was very good about communicating the process he recommended based on the state of our siding and was responsive through the end of the project. Their team sanded and stained all of the cedar at a fair price. And unlike other companies, they didn't pressure me to get the cedar restained more frequently than needed. If I had one minor suggestion, it would be to ask the staff to be careful around my plants, but honestly I would rate the job 9.9/10. When the color didn't turn out how I expected, the owner wrote me a long explanation for why he used a particular stain and the issues with my old stain. I really appreciated the explanation and that his team did a more labor intensive process (sanding all of the cedar siding) than other quotes I received. Several months later, they also went out of their way to get back to me on the stain they used because I want to stain my gates the same color. When the time comes again to restain our cedar, I'll definitely be giving Giovanni and Richard a call. Their customer service is top notch!

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY! At first they did respond via the Yelp contact us function. Then it was radio silence for several weeks. I kept reaching out (I don't know why I didn't just give up then) and finally I got a reply and explanation. They had changed their email server and so lost all the past correspondence and thus apologized and re-engaged. We eventually set up a date and all seemed good. Well, that date came up and went. I called, texted and emailed that morning and day and have not heard a word from them still. It's been 10+ days, which feels overly generous as I don't tend to write negative reviews. However to safe you time and energy, engage at your own risk. If people tell you they are being ghosted, believe them.

Melchor, Karla, and the team aim to please. Karla did a supurb job keeping me informed of the start date (delays because of the heavy rains,) The team built a board on board fence with a lattice topper to replace a partially fallen existing fence, as well as two side-entry gates. Both side yards had shrubs, plants, and small trees on the property line. The team was very careful working around them to minimize need to trim. The 2-3 man team worked very efficiently and completed the whole project in less than 3 full days. Worksite was cleaned up at each days' end. Excellent communication from start to finish, and a nice follow-up text from the owner. The estimate and the final cost were both in line with the last minute modification to the gate I made during construction.

Melchor and crew came to inspect the project area, asked thoughtful quesgions, explained the process in detail. Other conyracyors relied on satellite imagery to estimate the job size and had me do video calls with them to understand elevation and terrain. My project was on a slope. I was reassured because they physically came and measured. Only thing I would suggest is plan early and stay in touch with team. They get busy. So secure your date. They are the real deal. I am very happy.
