Supreme brown sugar boba milk tea
    Melinda N.

Ordered the supreme brown sugar boba milk tea which tasted good. Boba was soft and chewy, the perfect texture. Service took a very long time and the shop was very warm inside.

I LOVE HEYTEA! Honestly I've been here more times than I can count. The drinks are consistently good, and it's definitely one of my go to spots. My only wish is that they could improve the pick up area!! It's almost always crowded and feels a bit disorganized. Bc the space is small, there isn't much room to stand, and it's easy to get mixed up between the ordering line and the pick up. I often find myself having to ask the person in front of me whether they've already ordered or if they're waiting to pick up. Thats all I just hope the layout or flow can be improved to make the experience smoother.

I absolutely love how pretty and delicious their drinks are -- they're both aesthetically pleasing and super tasty. I'll usually stop by whenever I'm nearby and not in a rush. The shop is very small and tends to get crowded quickly. I can see there are quite a few staff members working in both the front and back, but it can still take 25+ minutes to get a drink at times. I'm also not a big fan of having to install an app to track the drink status or constantly watch the monitor on the wall for updates. Even when the drinks are ready, you still have to wait for an employee to be available to hand them to you since customers aren't allowed to grab them from the counter. Overall, I enjoy their drinks, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.

Triple Supreme Matcha Latte and Coconut Mango Boom
    Thomas N.

Stopped by the SLU location to grab some drinks. We got the Triple Supreme Matcha Latte and the Coconut Mango Boom. As usual the quality was super good. The mango is fresh and pairs well with the coconut. The matcha mochi in the latte is easily the best part. You can't go wrong with either of those drinks, especially if you are a matcha lover. The only reason I'm knocking a star off is the rewards system. I had points expiring the next day that I wanted to use, but you can only redeem them on mobile orders. Since they had turned off online ordering while I was there, I couldn't use them and basically just lost the points. Love the drinks but that policy could use some tweaking.

Pretty good fruit tea! I went here after grabbing sushi in SLU, and it's a small store with a small amount of seating inside, but mostly for grab and go. There's a little shelter close-ish outside the store, if it's packed inside and drizzling outside. Order ahead via the app, otherwise it gets crowded with the order counter only having one terminal. Pick-up is done via call out of your order number, and the drinks are placed on numbers on the counter matching your order number. Straws are close by. This spot was a bit more chaotic on staff calling out orders and a few customers were crowded by the counter and grumpy their drink had been sitting there for a while and not called out. They did fly through orders though and it looked more like an issue with getting the drinks into customer hands rather than making the drinks themselves. I've been to HEYTEA a few times, and have dialed in that they're great for their fruit teas. I got a Cloud Green Grape this time, which was a hit. Very refreshing and sweet. Would recommend sticking to their fruit teas if you come to HEYTEA.

One of my favorite milk tea, drink spots in Seattle. When I'm craving a sweet treat, this is where I come. The service is really slow, but that's because of how busy it is all the time. I tried out their new coconut drinks and it's super refreshing. I love the coconut jelly and the lightness of the coconut milk paired with the Matcha foam. It didn't feel heavy and it was great as a little pick me up in the afternoon or something you have after dinner. I definitely recommend checking out their mango, boom or grape boom those two are my favorite. There isn't that many places to sit since the place is pretty small, but the smell of this place is so good. I love it.

Everything at HeyTea is a hit!! My favorite boba place in the area. Their fruit drinks are super refreshing and unique; the coconut mango boom has mango in it and the sago adds a nice texture. I got the less sweet and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. Their jasmine tea is also really good, it has a strong tea flavor which I appreciate.. and paired with their boba? Amazing. Their boba is soft and chewy which should be a standard at all boba places but most seem to miss. Overall i feel like HeyTea has a drink for any type of craving. You can order through the app to beat the line, but if it's busy they'll close online ordering. You can check the progress of your drink on the app and it'll also give you an eta on when your drink will be done.

this was my second time getting heytea and it was very delicious as expected. i'm a sucker for mango so i had to try the cloud mango. it had little bits of mango at the bottom and the amount of sweetness was perfect for me! i would recommend ordering on the app before you arrive because the wait can be pretty long. you can also keep an eye on your drink after it's made and ask for no bag so that you don't have to wait for them to pack it up. the space is very small so it gets crowded easily, but there's a screen with order numbers to keep track of your order.

I love love heytea the quality and flavors of their drinks are so good. You can tell in general there is a lot of thought and effort that goes into it, from the packaging of the cup to the actual ingredients that go in it. It is always busy in store so I would recommend ordering store pick-up for a quick trip. I wouldn't expect much service because it's always busy, especially during any events, but if you go during the week during hours where everyone's working it'll probably be fine . The SLU location has some seats available in-store but it's quite a small store.

I definitely recommend! I've seen people rave about their ingredients and it definitely didn't disappoint. I ordered the cloud jasmine tea with less sweet sugar, and I really enjoyed it! The tea flavor was immaculate and light... paired with the cheese foam top ... it's amazing. Plus, you can order online if you don't want to wait. The service is quick, still I'll def be coming back!

Food - The quality of the ingredients is phenomenal! Service - They're always fast but the workers work hard to make sure your drinks come out quickly! Ambiance - Very small aromatic cafe with a bustling vibe.

Came to this place because a friend of mine wanted to go and wanted to try the Matcha. I learned the Matcha you cannot change out the milk, so I asked them to recommend something else and was recommended to try the cloud coconut blue. I got it with regular sugar. It taste amazing! You get real coconut milk with the coconut jelly and the Matcha is top shelf! Service took the right amount of time, it wasn't super quick, but it didn't take very long. There is a very limited seating, most people just stand outside and wait for their order to be called. The cashier was nice and knowledgeable and helped me pick my drink, which I appreciated. My recommendation would be to allow for maybe some outdoor seating since indoor seating isn't an option, this is a place where I would want to sit and have a tea date with a friend.

I went at odd hour since this place is always busy! The menu looks good, little bit pricy - more than I prefer for tea. I got the jasmine matcha tea. It was delicious. I definitely love the flavour and wanna try more things here. But maybe not frequency cause $$$ Do recommend if you want solid tea.

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #118…read more Located across from Westlake Center, this is a full fledged Xing Fu Tang, complete with a bubbling black sugar boba wok and their signature fortune sticks. I especially love the menu towards the rear of the store that depicts all the drinks and whether they contain dairy or tea. Walking in on a Thursday evening right before dinner, it was surprisingly crowded inside. All the seats were taken and there was a small line waiting to order at the kiosk. Luckily the staff is efficient, and I had my drink within a couple of minutes. Taiwan Boba Milk Tea, Large, 25% Sweet, Less Ice ($8.29) - Xing Fu Tang really focuses on two things: black sugar and milk. That focus is evident in this drink, where there's a strong mineral essence from the sugar, and somehow a really strong milkiness (despite being dairy free). The tea? It's an afterthought, with only some flat malty notes to complement the rich and sugary drink. With that being said, the drink is flavorful enough that I don't mind the lack of tea quality at all. Now the sweetness level could use some adjustment - the milk tea by itself is probably good at 25% but with so much of the boba marinade added, it goes up quickly. I might even order 0% next time. In terms of ice, they have less ice as default which I would consider similar to full ice at other boba shops. At least it seems that way since they used large cubed ice in their drinks rather than more typical chipped ice. This drink comes with boba. The boba is clearly homemade, being almost the same texture throughout, and is somewhat lumpy and cuboid in shape rather than perfect spheres. It marinates in the black sugar for a long time, rendering them superbly sweet and sticky. Unfortunately they are there for perhaps too long - at least when I visited, they were near the bottom of the wok. This means the boba is entirely too soft, with a single bite slicing through the sides of the pearl without too much resistance. They also tend to clump up, forming larger conglomerates that get stuck in the boba straw. While there's still somewhat of a bounce, it's noticeably less than perfection. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 I visited again a couple of weeks later for the Oolong Milk Tea, to see if they could eek a little more tea flavor out of another kind of leaf: Heaven Roast Oolong Boba Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, Less Ice ($8.29) - This tea is a bit more flavorful than the regular milk tea, with a somewhat vegetal and earthy essence that kind of reminds me of Tieguanyin. There's even a slight drying astringency. I forgot to review my notes and ordered this at 50% sweet, which is way, way too sweet for my tastes. I'm definitely going to go with 0% if I visit again. The boba is the same slightly mushy texture as the last visit. At least they are consistent between visits? Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 So overall: the tea that Xing Fu Tang serves is alright, muddled but better quality than a lot of other boba shops. The boba unfortunately is mushy, which I honestly can't say I've seen all that often. I do have to give them props for making their boba in house given how rare it is. Bathrooms - Single unisex room
