The best grapefruit mango smoothie I had in my life!! I've been waiting a year to try this place and it finally open up in Philly.

Long overdue visit to the newly opened HEYTEA! Having visited several other HEYTEA locations before, the quality here is exactly what I expected--delicious, refreshing, and consistent with the brand. Expect to spend at least $10 per person, but it's worth noting that the drinks are made to order rather than being batch-made like at some other tea shops. That said, I would not recommend waiting in a line around the block just to place an order. My recommendation is to place a mobile order ahead of time, then grab a meal or do some shopping around Chinatown while you wait. They should also seriously consider limiting the number of people dining or waiting inside the establishment. It can get extremely crowded, and having so many people packed inside takes away from the overall experience. Overall, standard HEYTEA quality in the best way--great drinks and definitely worth visiting, just plan ahead and use mobile ordering if you can.

The King Honeydew Jasmine was definitely better than the Strawberries & Cream Jasmine. Strawberries & Cream Jasmine 4/10: The cream tasted like strawberry yogurt, and the jasmine itself tasted kinda watered down. King Honeydew Jasmine 6/10: It had a nice spirulina flavor, but I couldn't really taste much honeydew. The matcha cream was on point as usual though.

I was so excited for HEYTEA in Philly to open since I frequently go to the NYC locations whenever I'm in the area. They're one of my favorite tea chains, so I had pretty high expectations. Unfortunately, I think this location still has a lot of work to do. The wait was very long. Even though I ordered ahead through the app, it still took about 25 minutes for my drinks to be ready. I do understand that they had only been open for about a week when I visited, so they were probably still adjusting to the crowds and getting into a rhythm. I got the King Jasmine Honeydew, and my friend got the Coconut Mango Blue. I was especially excited for the King Jasmine Honeydew since it was a limited-edition drink for tennis season, but I was pretty underwhelmed. The tennis ball design on top didn't really look like a tennis ball at all. The honeydew flavor was prominent, which I enjoyed, but I could barely taste the jasmine, so the drink felt a little one-dimensional. The Coconut Mango Blue was definitely better flavor-wise, but it seemed pretty watery and melted by the time we received it. I think with how busy this location has been since opening, the workers may be rushing to keep up with orders, and the overall quality and presentation of the drinks are suffering a bit because of it. One thing I really like about this location is the space itself. There's upstairs seating, and I could definitely see this being a nice place to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink. I'm hoping that as they stay open longer and work out some of the opening-week issues, the wait times and drink quality improve. Since I've had much better experiences at other HEYTEA locations, I'd still come back and give the Philly location another try once things settle down.

I waited 45 mins for my tea the first time I came and slightly less the second time as the line was shorter but I would definitrly wait until the initial opening hype dies down to return. I heard people complaining about long waits for online orders too. The mango coconut boom was pretty good! I tried the pistachio cloud jasmine tea the second time and loved the pistachio cloud foam portion, though I'm not sure I liked it as much in combination with the tea itself. They gave out free tote bags earlier this week. I keep seeing the little plushie blind boxes and might need to ask if they have those in stock still when I go next The interior is nice and there is an upstairs section where you can sit for a while.

One of most mid drinks I have had in a while. Either their Philly location sucks or they are just overhyped. I had high expectations from the Coconut Mango Boom but the whatever mangoes they used weren't sweet at all - making the whole drink very bland because they add very less sugar by default. The Triple Supreme Matcha barely tasted like Matcha and all the mochi and jelly in it had absolutely no flavor - is that how it is supposed to be?!! I am just glad that I was able to try them on a relatively less busy day with no lines and zero wait.

I visited day 2 of the grand opening. Drinks came out pretty quickly despite the many orders they were pumping out. Upstairs is a spacious area with a good amount of seating especially for the city. Also for those curious, caffeine free options are available! Most fruit based and brown sugar bobo milk according to the manager. Happy with the strength and flavor of the tea in the tea based drinks ask well.

So glad hey tea is finally in Philadelphia! The wait wasn't too long even on a weekend in September. The second floor seating had plenty of open space for us to enjoy our drinks. The staff was very friendly as well. I enjoyed my drink, the king James honeydew which was refreshing and had a great honeydew flavor.

long awaited heytea opening here in philly! i could not stand in line for opening day but i'm glad i was able to pop by after placing an online order without a ridiculous wait. i like heytea when i have it in nyc but honestly i feel like drinks are not consistent in any of the locations. i generally get the guava green grape & it fluctuates between being like a smoothie consistency vs it being on the icier side. i decided that this time i would also get the king jasmine because i absolutely love mollytea & wanted to see how they compare. the interior is nice, standard to most of the heyteas, also there is a second floor for extra seating i believe. the cashier was super sweet, the workers must be going through it though i'm sure they are still getting a lot of orders. i did put a note in app about making my drink more icy, so the texture of the guava green grape was actually quite nice which i appreciate :) however i would recommend mollytea's snowy jasmine if you are a fan of stronger tea flavors and i believe u are able to get it less sweet as well - i asked for the king jasmine to be a bit stronger in tea flavor but even then it felt a bit more watery. maybe i'd give it another try when they are a bit more established!

So I waited in an extensive line for really good but overpriced tea. The tea is good, I just don't really understand why people are so hype for it. The quality is clear but it seems they rely on Instagram worthy drinks. I'll come back when the hype dies down.

They have a huge selection of drinks, so there's something for everyone. The service really stood out to me. I had a small issue while using tap-to-pay. I accidentally added extra boba after starting the payment process, and another charge was mistakenly processed. The employee immediately got her manager involved when I expressed concern about being charged twice. The manager explained that the extra charge would most likely fall off automatically and reassured me that if it didn't, I could call the shop and they would take care of it. Thankfully, she was absolutely right--the duplicate charge was refunded without any issues. Looking back, it was partly my fault because I tend to rush through payment and make additions at the last minute. A little tip for future customers: finalize your order before tapping your phone or card to pay. Overall, the staff handled the situation professionally, my drink was delicious, and the customer service left a positive impression. I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm on that side of town.

I got half sugar and regular ice for both the tea and milk tea. The roasted oolong tea was quite noticeable right from the first sip. The oolong soft serve had a nice tea flavor, with a good balance between the creamy milkiness and the roasted tea. You can really taste the oolong throughout, so it's a nice choice if you enjoy tea-flavored ice cream. Between the two milk teas, I personally preferred the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea--the tea flavor came through nicely without being overpowered by the milk, and the roasted aroma paired really well with the creaminess. The Four Seasons Spring Milk Tea was lighter and more refreshing in comparison. Overall, I really enjoyed trying the oolong series at Teazzi!

I was overheated from being in the sun for 20 minutes, so that poster was very appealing to me. I kept thinking about it throughout my meal at Sky Café. Therefore, my friend and I truly trotted over afterwards. When we were deciding what drink to get, we noticed a young guy with an elderly grandma who bought many snacks from their shelves and fridge, so my friend and I went to browse too. We don't go to Vietnamese cafes and markets much, so many things we saw there looked interesting to us. Unfortunately we couldn't try everything, so we just window shopped. My friend ordered the Kumquat Thai Tea. It tastes like what it sounds like but that actually bothered my friend lol. When I tried it, I was surprised by how it's not as refreshing as I expected. I think the Thai tea base could be more clear. The cup wasn't sealed properly, so tea kept spilling as we walked. I didn't want to get the wintermelon tea, because I saw prebatched bottles in the fridge, so I would question what's the difference ordering with them vs grabbing a bottle myself. Therefore I decided to order the cane juice hoping that it will be good for the summer heat. They said they ran out, so I got the citrus lemongrass tea instead. I'm amused they gave a slice of orange. My drink was more refreshing, and it's a more unique flavor than generic cafes out there so I'm pleased. It wasn't too sweet. The café has cute wooden benches and tables. The selection of Vietnamese snacks were intriguing and should be legit given the old grandma bought a lot. Even though I don't know how realistic it is for me to come again, but I'd want to!
