BRADLEY BEACH: we were just wandering around town when we spotted a line out the door, so of course we had to check out what everyone was waiting for. The buzz was all about Hey Peach Bakery, and wow, this place is awesome! This adorable bakery + cafe is tucked into the cutest storefront and serves freshly baked bread, pretzels, cookies, scones, macarons, pies, and so much more. Pair your treat with a coffee or tea and you are all set for the perfect Bradley Beach moment. Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome inside, and there are outdoor tables to enjoy. It is popular for a reason, give them a follow and definitely check their hours before you go. This spot is a sweet little gem you will want on your weekend list. read more

Hey Peach Bakery - Bakeries Near Me - Bradley Beach, New Jersey

The cutestttttt little bakery and cafe is officially on the scene in Bradley Beach and I could not wait to visit. On a Friday afternoon the line was just a few people long, but I can imagine it is out the door on the weekends. Everything I loved about Hey Peach: -Bakery items were so good and there was so much to choose from. I got a vanilla bean scone and it was the perfect level of sweetness. -A simple but solid cafe menu. I opted for a matcha latte and it was delicious, perfectly sweet, very refreshing. -Pup friendly! I popped my head in to make sure it was okay to get in line with my dog and get a resounding yes. They don't have seats inside, so it was just for ordering purposes. -A few sidewalk tables. Perfect to enjoy a bit of my sweet snack and drink before continuing on. -A very kind team. It seemed busy but everyone was so lovely to chat with. I can't wait to come back and try more of their incredible looking pastries! The great cafe is just a few blocks away from the water, so make the trip the next time you leave the beach and need a caffeine or pastry refresh from the sun. read more

Oh my lord, everything here was so good. We tried a bunch of pastries and honestly everything was perfectly baked. The laminated pastries were insanely good, especially the almond croissant, pretzels, cookies, the coconut-rimmed pastry, and a few others I'm sadly forgetting the names of. The matcha was also delicious and clearly well made, and the cold brew was so good too, $5 for a small cup and totally worth it. They also have a punch card for drinks, which is a nice bonus. Staff was on it and efficient, and the bakery itself feels incredibly well run. Timing definitely matters here. In early May, we got lucky with a shorter line and lots of options around noon on a Saturday. By mid-May, the line was already down the sidewalk around 9 a.m. on a Saturday during Mother's Day weekend. There's no indoor seating, just a couple outdoor tables. Definitely check it out! read more

Every pastry in the case looked absolutely delectable, but alas I could not bring them all home. I chose a croissant, chocolate croissant, scones - vanilla bean and orange with chocolate, a palmier and a pretzel to share with the family. Every crumb was delicious! And the pretzel came with a zippy mustard. The staff is friendly and helpful. Don't me scared off by the line outside the door - it moves quickly! read more

Best bakery in Bradley Beach! This local shop feels like a French-style boulangerie, with adorable decor and incredible treats. You can't go wrong but I especially loved the lemon poppyseed scone, almond croissant, and chai tea! Mel the cashier, Erin the baker, and their staff are so friendly and patient, happy to greet and chat to each customer. My only suggestion would be labels for the pastries so people in line can better anticipate what to order. Highly recommend! read more

When I tell you I love this place, I mean I LOVE this place! It's tiny so you might miss it but once you find it, WOW! You just know it's gonna be good if the line flows out the door! The variety was plenty. The prices were good. The items were a nice size. And the owner was a Peach! I can't wait to go back! I'm still dreaming of their savory curry potato hand pie with the oh so flaky crust. read more

What a cute bakery in Bradley Beach! Popped by Sunday morning and there was a small line outside - my neighbor said you've got to get there early for the good stuff, and she was not wrong! It's a grab-and-go sort of place; no seating inside and just two small tables outside. The staff were all friendly. The crossiant, apple handpie, and scone (lemon poppy today) were all fantastic. They have a limited selection but I don't think you can go wrong. Breads and pastries made fresh daily. They also have coffee which I'll have to try next time! read more

A place with both great baked goods and coffee? They had a line out the door when I arrived, and it's understandable why. Most people make their purchases to go, but they do have a couple of tables outside and cups to stay, so we want to do that next time we visit. And we'll definitely visit again! We ordered a small brioche bun and a biscuit along with two lattes with oat milk. The brioche bun had pareils of sugar on top, which made it more special. And the biscuit was perfectly rich on the inside and crisp on the outside. And they have one person specifically for coffee. It's a perfect pair. read more

Comically slow. Food is excellent but the service is terrible. They need to get people in and out faster. They'd make way more money and customers would be happier. read more

Love the place! My only suggestion would be to label the items. I understand the value of customer interaction, but having to ask about every product can slow the line considerably, especially when the questions are repetitive and often unnecessary. Clear labeling would make the experience more efficient for both customers and staff. Also, if possible, it helps when only the person ordering approaches the counter rather than an entire group, as it keeps traffic moving smoothly. Overall, it's a great spot, and adding labels to identify the goods would make an already enjoyable experience even better. read more

This bakery is everything I've been looking for since moving to NJ over 25 years ago. The croissants are as good, if not better, than the ones I've eaten during my trips to Paris. The pretzel was also delicious. Looking forward to returning for some bread and to sample more of Hey Peach's delicious offerings! read more

The good: The place is clean and neat and the pastries are displayed well. The help staff was pleasant. The bad: There wasn't much selection and prices weren't displayed. We purchased a cream puff and another pastry and it was $12! Prices were high and quality was not as good as their nearby competitor, Del Pontes. I also asked about coffee and their largest size was only 12oz. I didn't purchase as I was looking for a bigger cup. Unfortunately, I probably will not be back again. read more

I've been to this tiny bakery a few times now and it's officially one of the best around! Everything I've had is killer! The chocolate chip cookies, double chocolate cookies, elephant ears, apple turnovers, blueberry cheese danish, and the best best almond croissant (with a hint of orange). You can't pick the wrong thing here. Also, the employees are lovely and friendly and it's adorable inside. read more

Had a few treats from this welcome addition to main street in Bradley. Chocolate chip cookie and brownie were excellent. On street parking.

This place is amazing- I love the coffee and the pastries/bread and the people. The only thing i would suggest is to work on the speed of service. I was in line for an hour the other day which is tough for people with little kids! read more

Absolutely off the charts pastries ! The breads and pastries are so visually appealing and much lighter than they appear. The flavor is spectacular - I would easily share with all friends, fam and co-workers. An ABSOLUTE must try ! read more

Really nice new bakery in Bradley Beach. Delicious pastries and espresso drinks and amazing looking breads. Our only criticism is they have a very limited selection of goodies. Plus, I visited on Super Bowl morning and they didn't have their pretzels yet which seemed like bad planning. They are new so hopefully they work out some of the kinks, but what we've tried here so far is truly delicious. read more

One of the finest bakeries I've ever been to in America. The quality here is on par with bakeries found in major cities in the US and Europe. A young couple owns and bakes and the woman's Mother and some other relatives and friends as best as I can discern handle the customers. This is a place well worth getting off the parkway to sample the offerings. read more

This is our favorite bakery! The inside is so charming and we love being greeted by the cute bird mosaic upon entering. Pastries and bread are made in house and fresh each day. It's difficult to choose at the counter as we love everything they offer! In addition to amazing pastries, bread, and coffee, they have a lovely welcoming staff. It's Always a pleasure at Hey Peach! read more

Good assortment of upscale pastries. Wish them luck as they scale. I tried a few things and would return. All tasty.

OMG! These were the only pastries left at 1:30 pm on Saturday, (they close at 3) so we bought 2, expecting to have half each today and tomorrow. Nope!! Once we took a bite, we couldn't stop. We each ate a whole pastry. They are fabulous!! Now I know why everything else was already gone. This is a relatively new bakery and their reputation for delicious breads and pastries is already in place. The young women who served us were very sweet too (no pun intended). We will absolutely return - earlier in the day - to get one of the breads (and more pastries) listed on their website. Highly recommend, even though that means there will be more competition among customers to get their breads and pastries. read more

Wonderful little bakery with a friendly staff. Their fresh biscuits and scones are "melt in your mouth" delicious. Outstanding. We have been here twice, and each time tried new goodies. The breads are so fresh and tasty. We tried the pretzel for the first time today with the stone ground mustard, it was a perfect texture, and taste. The coconut macaroons brought us back for more and the cherry almond scone was superb. Can wait to come back and try new treats. The place is small so there was a wait, but it was worth it and gave me a chance to talk to others in line about favorite treats. read more

Since the opening in January of this year I have stopped by almost every weekend usually in the afternoon .Since the beginning of the summer they have been sold out of the scones and chocolate croissants, which I normally purchase . I believe they make excellent bread and pastries. I have recommended this place too many people and they all think highly of it and thank me for the recommendation. unfortunately, I can't get there early in the day before they sold out of my favorite goodies. I will have to wait till the fall. When All the summer people go back home.Myles read more

i have heard a lot of great things about hey peach from everyone in the bradley community wholeheartedly recommending i try out their pastries despite the long lines and waits. critics are raving type beat. so i went to check it out. the line was out the door but this was expected. when i got in it was small yes and there is no menu up, you simply have to ask for a menu or ask what this is. the options seemed limited but me and my wife decided to try out their blueberry scone, Scottish short bread, madelines, and chocolate chip cookie. i also got an iced matcha. overall everything was alright. i guess now i dont see the hype. i dont want to play devils advocate either. i love agreeing with people and learning of new places to get coffee and a sweet treat. but with the hustle and bustle in life, hey peach offers either a once in a week or once in a blue moon delicacy which is simply not convenient in todays culinary market. think of the immense opportunity cost this place has. expanding the store allowing for indoor lounging and outdoor seating along with a bigger lobby area and menu selection would help HP dominate in the already competitive OCNJ coffee pastry shop scene. but as in all my reviews, i recommend you give every place a shot with an open mind, heart, and tummy. stay vigilant out there Ox heads! -MO read more
