Get your espresso here folks. With an unfortunately stubborn migraine that would not quit, I stumbled into Odyssey looking for a quick caffeine kick. The interior is far larger than I expected-- with large windows, high ceilings, and an airy ease that belies its origins as a converted bank. There is a generous amount of seating as well After interrogating the barista on the exact ratio of espresso to milk on their cortado, I ordered it without any expectations. What a pleasant surprise: a rich and smooth espresso, with the perfect amount of milk. Exactly what I needed. 10/10 would get the cortado again. And probably tomorrow. read more

Super cute coffee spot with tons of space to work or just relax. I got a hot tea and my mom got an iced tea, both which we really enjoyed. We came in so we could do our work meetings, but the wifi was not working well for either of us. Thank god I got there early! It took me over 15 minutes to get my devices connected and ready for the meeting. I love the little shop they have in the old vault. The merchandise is super cute handmade items from local artists, all fairly priced. read more

Coffee freshly ground and steeped for every cup you drink! Friendly local teens hustling to be sure everyone on the line is being taken care of as quickly as they can move.... Very clean spacious coffee shop! They have some good oatmeal, cookies baked goods... but most people are here for the brew read more

The ambiance and space in this coffee house are epic! It's an old bank so it has high vaulted ceilings and large plants (has a nice vibe). Plenty of tables for everyone. It's so spacious it even had a small gift shop. Two bathroom stalls available. Pro tip: the muffins are delicious. Good service. Only star off for small coffee portion sizes. read more

Excellent coffee shop on the main strip in ocean grove. The location itself is stunning with high ceilings and old fashioned decor. Great place to have a chat and people watch or work from a laptop. Coffee was delicious and even though they only had one barista when I went, the line moved swiftly. They have a selection of a few pastries, yogurts, etc. Probably the best coffee shop in the area! read more

What a cute cafe! The inside is truly stunning. It has these huge windows that bring in so much natural light and it has some great seating areas--I saw lots of people just hanging out and others on their computers. Everything looked so bright and clean, and I loved the art that they had on the walls. They even have a little area that is like a small shop where you can buy different handmade items like earrings, paintings, and bowls. They also had a small collection of vintage clothing items for sale. When it comes to the actual drinks, they were so good. I got a maple matcha and my friend got a vanilla latte. My matcha was the perfect color and the sweetness was just right; the latte was similar, with the espresso taste coming through and being complemented beautifully by the vanilla. They had some fun seasonal flavors and they have a solid menu with some to-go food options on the side. The staff was friendly we overall had a good experience in this shore coffee shop, I will definitely be back read more

Good quality coffee, great vibes and atmosphere. Really large sitting area and love the setting. Iced caramel latte wasn't mixed and all the caramel sat at the bottom to start but it did end up mixing it after I let it sit and then mixed my drink. For the sweet latte lovers, this is good but not great. Will continue the search. read more

Lovely interior that had me imagining Hemingway might of sat here. There are palm trees, leather chairs and rows of tables. Free WiFi. The cold brew was smooth and tasty. The line to order was a touch long and I can't say the place is warm and inviting but it's atmospheric. It's not "Jersey shore" and that's a compliment. I'd definitely return. I came post-beach season and parking was easy to get and free. Coffee was pricey but it's a tourist area. read more

This place has a great atmosphere very high ceiling tons of natural light. Its location in a old financial institution, this structure is wonderful for a cafe / coffee shop. The Service was very polite and efficient. I food is not five star, however it was better than adequate. I would recommend not warming up any pastry because of the use of a microwave over that they use, it take the nice crispy pastry and turn it into mush something lacking any texture. read more

I've brought my service dog in here a few times. Each time I'm met with dirty looks and questioning glances from the workers and patrons. Each barista asks me for proof of service, which I have provided over and over again. Now people in the coffee shop have started asking probing questions which is humiliating and intrusive. Not all disabilities are visible! Very unwelcoming and discriminatory environment and will not be returning. Such a shame for a town that seems so charming. read more

Met a friend here on a Friday morning and it was lovely. The new location is an old bank and they kept a lot of the characteristics of the building! I got a latte and an almond croissant and both were very tasty! The latte had a lot of foam and was served in an adorable blue cup and saucer. There is a good amount of seating and there were a lot of people working at various tables while enjoying a coffee. It manages to be cozy and inviting while also nodding to the airy bank it used to be. read more

One look at their big La Marzocco espresso machine (hand-made by the ultimate coffee artisans of Florence, Italy), and you know: Odyssey Coffee is the full European café immersion. I just enjoyed the most perfect, most flavorful macchiato I have ever had, and from the most beautiful blue demitasse. The new location at 63 Main is beyond spectacular. An uplifting, sunlit space with 30-foot ceilings, 20-feet of that gigantic windows. You have never seen a coffeeshop like this. And the books! THE BOOKS! Classics of Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome! You will want to just move in and live here all the time! Even if you just want something eye-opening, wet, and cold, at Odyssey Coffee you will discover an cold brew better than any cold brew you have ever tasted. And oh: Care for a croissant? Odyssey's croissants are delivered daily from (are you sitting down?) Balthazar Bakery in New York City. Yes, the one on Spring Street, renowned for providing New Yorkers with the very finest European-quality pastries available in America. That's a 60-mile hike! And yet here they are in Ocean Grove, every morning: Additional tasty testimony to Odyssey Coffee's canonical commitment to excellence. read more

Odyssey was my essential third place during a long trip to Asbury/Ocean Grove. Their coffee is absolutely top notch. Thick and rich espresso, and to my delight, they have cinnamon out to spruce it up. They have a variety of sweet and savory food options made by local bakery The Downstairs Kitchen. The chicken salad sandwich on a croissant was very tasty, but the buttery biscuit was my fave food item we tried. Plenty of croissants, scones, sticky buns, quiche, etc available. Nice options. What sets them apart is the welcoming atmosphere and equally welcoming staff. And the mini bust of Homer. read more

Beautiful space Terrible coffee. Add more beans to your brew. Think they can do better. Want them to survive

My husband and I came here one morning for coffee here walking on the boardwalk. He ordered a vanilla ice coffee. We couldn't taste the vanilla in it at all and the coffee just tasted like nothing. I had the caramel iced latte, all the caramel was at the bottom and sometimes I could taste it but overall it wasn't good. Unfortunately this was some of the worst coffees we ever had. We won't be going back. read more

The coffee is delicious. Most of all, they remember your name when you return. Nice atmosphere. Relaxed and laid back.

Beautiful space and friendly employees. Many great drink and food options. Would rate five stars but the music is way too loud all the time.

So glad this place is in this side! I no longer need to trek to that other place over the bridge in Asbury. The baristas are always hard at work, the front is always filled with some group trying to accomplish some goal...(it's beautiful out, have those convos on the beach!) Anyway, the coffees are aptly named, Homer is def top dog here. The lattes are scrumptious but the coffee is a tad bitter for my palette. read more

A wonderful new location. Building is cozy and relaxing. Their coffee is amazing. Fresh, smooth, and not bitter. The workers are genuinely friendly and happy. There's a selection of different types of places to relax, including a back room that feels a little like a library with comfortable chairs. They have a small art gallery, and clothes with the Odyssey logo that you can purchase. The clientele is a mix of every genre and age, all happily relaxing and enjoying themselves. Prices are very reasonable, and the selection of pastries and sandwiches is broad. No pets are allowed in there, which I am grateful for, but it is kid friendly, with pastries and drinks that they would enjoy. I come here three times a week. The service is fast and accurate. It's just an overall good experience. read more

A new place on my list of cafes to visit on the Jersey shore! A few minutes from Cafe Volan, and they could stand to compare. The service was super friendly, and it seemed like a lot of the patrons frequented the place. Less hipstery and more homey than the other cafes nearby. My latte was very good, but I ordered a pastry and it was a little disappointing. It tasted like a baklava, which I do like, but it was almost stale.
