I haven't had one that fresh since I got back from France, lo those many years ago. Not sure who their supplier is, but 2 thumbs up! I had planned on sitting inside at the table by the window, but when the AC kicked on, it was blowing right on me, and got downright chilly. The shadows were hitting the patio perfectly, so I grabbed an outdoor table. Unfortunately, the wind kicked up, making editing a bit of a challenge, but I definitely want to return. The place was quiet and pleasant and I can see getting a lot of work done there in the future.

It made absolutely no sense and left us feeling singled out. A nice interior doesn't make up for rude service. The atmosphere might look welcoming, but the way customers are treated tells a completely different story. I won't be coming back, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place unless they seriously improve how they treat people.

They have some breakfast and lunch options, and baked goods. These can change, but if the cinnamon bun is there you can't go wrong with that. They also have a selection of beer and wine (only place to have an alcoholic beverage in the mall). Staff is always friendly.and the owner she's a gem. I will say there's often only one person working, so there may be the occasion when there's a bit of a lineup, but it's never anything major. When Awake first opened I thought that a pharmacy and cafe was a weird combination, but they were ahead of their time. Today, a Tuesday, it's quite busy and we got one of the last tables. I could tell that others were here for the same combination as us. Awake has a small menu with just their bubble waffles and pasties but otherwise it's a fine place to stop for a break or to pick up a prescription.
