But I really liked that they had other services like they make mascots for tons of companies and high schools in their area and they look really high quality. If I ever need a mascot in the future lol I would definitely purchase from this shop

My wife found this place and we decided we needed to check them out - so glad we did! Although they like appointments, they aren't required (lucky for us). It's a family owned and run business and everyone was super friendly and helpful. We told them we were looking for typical 1920s costumes and they went to work. They started pulling costumes and accessories for both my wife and I, based on their thoughts and the ideas we expressed. In less than an hour we were set with costumes - 3 hours before the event! We will absolutely come back for costumes for our themed mystery dinner parties and for other costume-type events. They have more costumes than I ever imagined anyplace could have! We highly recommend this place!

I love the high quality Fever and Rock Star wigs that they carry and have purchased several from them over the years. This store is a great place to come for costumes, but I also love their accessories and have purchased many glasses, hats, gloves, faux weapons, etc... that make great props for photo booths. We even used some at the photo booth for my brother's wedding. I highly recommend this store. They're prices are competitive and they have things you just can't find online. Also, I saw the negative review regarding strollers. It is sad, but true that many a mother has shoplifted using a stroller And her cute little kiddo as a distractio. I worked at Spirit Halloween for 7 years as well as other retailers and saw this first hand. Business owners have the right to refuse service to anyone and especially if something is posted. I do not own a busines, but take into consideraction why a business owner had to take that step. I am sure they would have let that Woman leave her stroller at the register. I always had them my backpack when I walk in and it's no big deal. If you have a huge shoplifter friendly bag, expect to leave it at the register. Again I love love love this place. I actually live in Georgia, but visit my parents several times a year and make sure to always stop in. Definitely a fun spot to wonder through and great for any cosplayer.

I called to ask about shipping time. For the standard shipping cost, it appeared I would receive the item in time, but FF offered to call me back after placing the order to discuss a faster option (not an expedited service). Well, they did, they had an option for another carrier, and even offered to absorb the cost difference. I got the item a day earlier than estimated with the original carrier. The item is also quite fragile, but it was packed very well and arrived undamaged. I couldn't be happier with the service I received and will definitely be looking here first for my freaky items!

Some of the trends we noticed this year: Black Panther and Wonder Woman. Games like Fortnite and Fallout. Steampunk seems to be on the rise. On this trip, my big haul was accessories like silly hats (useful for public speaking gigs), tights (for goth dress up), and cute hats and fascinators (for parties). We are planning to come back soon for some yard decor and more kids' costumes.

The afternoon I spent running errands, I went to Bed, Bath & Beyond for a cake pan, Hallmark for cards, and Hobby Lobby for last minute craft needs and food coloring for cookie frosting. Little did I know that all those things could be found at Party City! My complaint with this Party City is that a few of the items I wanted were out of of stock, including the streamers I wanted for my husband's 30th birthday celebration. However, I found an open pack of them sitting on a shelf (???) so they sold them to me at a discount and as a final sale item. The staff is nice enough, but it's pretty obvious none of them really love their job. They help when it's asked of them, but I've never had anyone help me that was particularly enthusiastic to do so. Don't make my mistake--if you are pressed on time, go to Party City FIRST, and then go get whatever you couldn't find there somewhere else.
