I needed a last minute costume and they had exactly what I wanted here. Unfortunately the cape that I wanted and showed me I didn't look at the size and it was like xxl and huge and I kept tripping on it but low-key maybe my bad for not looking at the size closely I was pretty in and out and I was in a rush so it's not really their fault lmao. But I really liked that they had other services like they make mascots for tons of companies and high schools in their area and they look really high quality. If I ever need a mascot in the future lol I would definitely purchase from this shop read more

AWESOME YEAR-ROUND GEM OF A COSTUME SHOP!!! These guys stayed open for us, they were more than courteous even when we called four times in a row and made them stay after hours . They even saved us a parking spot. All this on the day before Halloween. And on a Sunday no less! Starline, you've just earned yourself a two customers for life!! SO MUCH MORE THAN RENTALS! read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE , I got a costume with numbers on it and in bad conditions, I did not notice until later. I came back to the store for an exchange and they were very disrespectful and racist to me even though they were the ones that gave me a damaged item, they said they let people try customers on but don't let accept return or anything like that. I don't care about the money but the way they treated me as a customer, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! HORRIBLE experiencia, me dieron un disfraz en malas condiciones y me dijeron que es mi culpa me di cuenta al llegar a casa al venir fueron irrespetuosos y racistas conmigo! NO APOYEN ESTE NEGOCIO FOTOS DE LO QUE ME DIERON: read more

As the owner encore entertainment, SATX and encore event services with my wife, we cannot rave enough about this location! We provide costume characters for any event. And provide actors as well! And when our actors have gotten in these costumes, they've given nothing but rave reviews on the quality of them. We used to be one of those companies that would buy our own costumes, but we were just run out of room and also didn't like the quality of most of them bought online. The prices are affordable for our business. But depending on what you're looking for, I'm sure they can accommodate. I love their staff. They're always quick to help put a costume in your vehicle or take one out and always friendly and have a smile when we walk in. We love doing business with them and we will continue to do so. We have rented out their Elsa costume, and their Bluey costume is extremely well-made and amazing! Just thought I'd throw that in there lol ! read more

I'll be back for Christmas forsure!!! read more

The service was good they greeted us as soon as we walked in! It was really busy so that's a good sign because they have a wide range of selection! They have pricy things and more affordable things! Starline has to be the best costume shop in town hands down! I have been stopping in for the past several years and John is always at the front desk ready to help. He's so friendly and we can chat forever when it's slow. .. and if you ask nicely, he just might tell you a haunting story... When thinking costumes, think about more than just Halloween... maybe a Renaissance Festival or themed event like the First Friday Pub Run downtown, or masquerade ball.... so many choices to dress up to have fun!!! Think of Starline for any special event! read more

Very helpful staff, they have just about everyone and everything you need for costumes, makeup, props & special fx. Was impressed by the quality and selection. You can try costumes on!! Lots of rentals and amazing quality and condition! read more

Now this is what you call a costume store. Not one of those franchises that only opens up for a month or two around Halloween. Nope, Starline Costumes has everything you need from school projects to those fun themed parties you've been invited to. Upon entering you'll be surprised just how much they offer that it'll make those pop-up costume stores seem generic. The staff here is super friendly and really creative. Give them a concept you're trying to work around and they're assisting you alongside trying to help build the best costume possible. Doesn't matter what you're budget is. This costume shop will have something for you to at least leave away with gratification of visiting this place. read more

These guys are stupendous! I went in with just a concept on 28 Oct. I walked out 45 mins later with my idea realized! The young lady took me seriously at a time when I was struggling to take myself seriously. It is Halloween after all. The extent of their costume selection must be seen to be believed. I was handed 7 possibilities and accessorized uniquely for each. This place is THE place regardless of the occasion when costumes are required. It's everything! read more

We came here needing a costume for a party the same night. My husband is a big and tall guy so finding costumes with a good fit is a little tricky. They had a few off the rack but we winded up having him measured and renting one. The lady upstairs was very helpful and easy to work with. We loved the costume and so did the people at the party. Thanks for helping us out! read more

Horrible customer service. They almost seemed bothered to have to help you. It did not appear they were fond of Hispanic clientele. Just my observation. read more

Those was my first time here and I wish I would have comedy sooner! I really loved th staff, they were helpful with assisting me in choosing a costume from start to finish. The selection is great and prices are awesome. I've rented costumes at Gibson but this is definitely my new goto costume shop. read more

Don't bother going there if you're looking for pirate stuff. They have a very meager selection of products. Won't be back. Ordering on Amazon. I try to support brick and mortar stores but this is why people go to amazon. read more

Decided to rent a costume here after reading how poor customer service is at Gibsons. Poor customer service is NOT something that you will encounter here at Starline. Everyone was very nice and helpful. In fact, they were very busy, and still enthusiastic about helping me find the right costume for the Halloween party I am hosting. I want to say thank -you Stephanie, specifically! You dressed me up twice without an attitude and I left excited to wear my costume to my Halloween Party. Ya'll made my day. read more
