Freaky Findz had an item I've been looking for that seemingly can't be found anywhere else in the new world besides eBay (it's discontinued). I needed it within a week. I called to ask about shipping time. For the standard shipping cost, it appeared I would receive the item in time, but FF offered to call me back after placing the order to discuss a faster option (not an expedited service). Well, they did, they had an option for another carrier, and even offered to absorb the cost difference. I got the item a day earlier than estimated with the original carrier. The item is also quite fragile, but it was packed very well and arrived undamaged. My favorite all time spot to go waste the day away. It makes me feel like I'm in the Mystery Shack from Gravity falls. The endless amounts of gag gifts and costumes can keep me here for hours. The staff is very friendly and has always treated me and my kiddo like family. One of the owners shared a story with my boy, who shares his fascination with all things chicken. That was what originally caught my boys attention since they had shirts with chickens on them. They have all sorts of unique shirts here and it's become a routine to stop by and check out what cool new gear they've received. Recently, we checked out their masks, and I've never seen such a selection of clown and dark creature disguises. I have to say this is definitely a hidden gem that has to be explored whenever out this way and no matter what time of the year for us. I love Freaky Findz. I have visited this store in its current location and when it used to be in a smaller space. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. I love the high quality Fever and Rock Star wigs that they carry and have purchased several from them over the years. This store is a great place to come for costumes, but I also love their accessories and have purchased many glasses, hats, gloves, faux weapons, etc... that make great props for photo booths. We even used some at the photo booth for my brother's wedding. I highly recommend this store. They're prices are competitive and they have things you just can't find online. Also, I saw the negative review regarding strollers. It is sad, but true that many a mother has shoplifted using a stroller And her cute little kiddo as a distractio. I worked at Spirit Halloween for 7 years as well as other retailers and saw this first hand. Business owners have the right to refuse service to anyone and especially if something is posted. I do not own a busines, but take into consideraction why a business owner had to take that step. I am sure they would have let that Woman leave her stroller at the register. I always had them my backpack when I walk in and it's no big deal. If you have a huge shoplifter friendly bag, expect to leave it at the register. Again I love love love this place. I actually live in Georgia, but visit my parents several times a year and make sure to always stop in. Definitely a fun spot to wonder through and great for any cosplayer. read more

I hope this store gets sued. They have a signs that says "no strollers allowed". They do not allow entry to mothers with small children who require a stroller. Therefore discriminating against parents with children.this form of discrimination is called Discrimination of Familial Status. I witnessed a woman get denied entry to their facility for having a toddler in a stroller. I took this very personal because I am expecting my second child and I will have a newborn and a barely 1 yr old who may not be able to walk yet. Will I not be allowed in the store? Because I'm not exactly sure how I'm supposed to leave my stroller outside, wear my purse and back pack AND carry 2 babies while shopping. read more

What a fun shop!! It's full of costumes and gifts that will have you laughing the whole time. The staff was friendly and helpful. I can't give 5 stars only because a large part of the store was blocked off with new inventory stacked in the aisles. Or maybe they were rearranging. Great variety of costumes, masks, hats & makeup. We stopped by during the Halloween season, but apparently this shop is open year-round. After going to two other shops, my teen found exactly what she was looking for....grown up vampire costume in a modest version. The store was over crowded with product & disorganized which made it a bit difficult to find things. But, the friendly & helpful staff more than made up for it. read more

Freaky Findz saved Halloween for us this year. We had tried Spirit and Party City and couldn't find the costume my daughter wanted. The store was very busy (they had a line out the door!) but it was worth the wait. Maddie's customer service was fantastic, she dropped everything to help my daughter and I find what we needed. Sam is amazing. My son wanted a super specific costume that is not mass produced in youth sizes. She took our number and called, and worked above and beyond any job description and tried to find him the costume. They ordered two costumes for him to try, neither of which fit. She walked the store with him, helping him work out other specific ideas. This is the only place I will take my kids for costumes from now on. Thank you Sam!!
