I am not sure if it is me who has changed or the restaurant but I have been traveling more to good steakhouses all over the world and I found my last visit to De Veehandel unimpressive vs some other of my faves. The starter (Tomate Crevette) was taste-wise not bad but presentation was a bit sloppy. Also the steak is just a-ok, nothing special. In addition, I feel like the service is just average. All-in all just a meh experience. Nothing much to complain but I wasn't wowed either. I really think De Veehandel has had it's best days and there are better places to eat steak in Belgium.
