Devon, the technician, explained the various options, other services that could be helpful (as I said I may want to replace the garage door opener). Heston Door service is who I will always recommend! My husband decided to install a new garage door and then it proceeded to sit for two years unable to be opened. I called and they fit us in the following week and serviced within an hour to reposition the rails (apparently this is common that people install the rails incorrectly). Had Heston Door services come out and install a new garage door opener on my new home. They are prompt, on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. I had purchased a genie garage door opener from Lowes and never got around to installing it because, lets be honest here I didn't want to pay the builders to install it for a huge mark up so I bought one with the intentions of installing it myself, bc you know I'm crafty like that. fast forward 1 year being in the home the box with the garage door opener was still sitting in the corner with a bunch of dust on it. SO I asked Yelp and neighborhood FB groups on local installers, low and behold Heston Door service with the highest recommended servicer. the guy got there did everything and then realized that i was missing a part since i have a larger garage it needed an extender, he went to Lowes and they didn't have what we needed. He advised me to order the part on amazon and give him a call when i get it and he would stop by and finished the job. two days later i have a functioning garage door! Yay me! We had a garage door that started to fail. One of the panels was starting to split in half. We requested a quote to get it fixed late on a Friday. We received an email the next day for someone to come out and examine the door. Once we scheduled them to come and get us a quote, they arrived on time and were very friendly and gave us lots of options. We decided to have them replace both of our doors as soon as they could. Since it was going to take a while (about 3 weeks)P to get the doors, they came back out and braced the failing door until the new doors came in. About three days later one of our openers broke and we could no longer use it to open the door. We asked for a quote for 2 new openers. They responded the same day. When the doors arrived and we scheduled them for installation, again the installation tech was on time and completed the installation of the doors and the openers in a few hours. The tech was very friendly and did a great job. They also replaced the weather strips along top and sides of the door opening. We are very happy with the work they did and would highly recommend them. read more

You get two stars for showing up on time but the workmanship is very poor and it took him 3.5 hours to replace two overhead springs. One spring is much longer then the other, why would you not install a pair of matched springs? The price of $525 is very high compared to the same work done on a friends door by another company a couple weeks later. read more

We've called Heston out to our house a couple of times now and both have been fantastic experiences! The first time was to repair our garage door that had the bottom uneven. Cory originally thought it was a simple repair but after some further review of my door, the flooring, motor, etc, he found that the wood door wasn't cut right when the builder made it. Since he couldn't fix it without adding a rubber sweep, he didn't charge me a dime, but still tuned up the door. This year, we called him out again to install the sweep and replace a motor. Very competitive prices and knowledgeable. After installation of our new motor (replaced a screw drive to a belt drive) I noticed some vibration that wasn't heard previously over the loud screw drive motor. Cory apologized for not catching it earlier, sent his crew out and replaced one of the pulleys causing the vibration at no cost! I don't know anybody that goes the extra mile like that! We will be using them in the future for sure! read more

We have "NW Garage" doors and needed to replace the bottom seals. Since our double and single garage doors are 20 years old the seal tracks have changed and now the replacement seals they sell at hardware stores do not fit our tracks. The authorized dealer gave us Heston's number after the first garage door repair company was unhelpful. The owner at Hestons had the seals we needed and at a very fair price. (He had the foresight to purchase the seal material for customers that still had the old tracks). We were able to easily replace the seals to keep our garage sealed from weather and critters. I met Cory Heston before I purchased a home so I already knew what an honest and hard working man he was. The home I bought had French doors instead of a standard garage door. Cory came out and gave me a bid to replace the French doors with a garage door, install a garage door opener that he recommended and everything else that is required since I have a high ceiling in the garage. His bid was more than fair. He came out on the scheduled day and replaced the door, installed the opener and all the equipment that was needed. He did an outstanding job.
