I received periodic text messages for coordination including reminders, which is helpful for me. The prep is onerous, in particular the five day low fiber diet ahead of the procedure. But, I guess if this gives a better result, I can deal with it once every five years. I had to arrive at 7:30 AM which meant I took my second round of Sutab just after midnight. Lesson learned, never again. That kept me up most of the night giving me maybe a couple hours sleep over the previous 36 hours. I couldn't wait for the general anesthetic! The office experience was straightforward, the people were friendly and efficient. Might have been even more straightforward if ALL the forms had been available online. I'm thinking patient history form here. Otherwise, their automation was terrific. The procedure personnel were all similarly friendly and efficient. The whole thing happened quickly, no fuss, no muss. I woke up easily from the anesthetic, was able to put on my pants standing on one leg at a time. The medical staff were fully present, helpful, even kind, and answered all my questions. Nobody goes through a medical procedure for fun, but Gastro Health minimized the negatives and accentuated the positives.

Just spoke to the office manager and was assured the script was sent to the pharmacy. I have grave concerns about the level of care with a place that is so mismanaged.

Dr. Kwon surgically repaired a complex foot condition of mine, and, here I am, six months post-op, and I so regret not having my foot condition repaired, years prior, by Dr. Kwon. I am grateful to an MGH orthopedic surgeon for referring me to Dr. Kwon. Dr. Kwon's Care Team includes a Physician Assistant by the name of Patrick Maguire, who is a superb clinician, as well. Dr. Kwon and Patrick Maguire function as a very cohesive team, and collaborate closely. On the day of my surgery, Dr. Kwon updated Patrick Maguire about what he discovered of my condition, in the operating room, while Patrick was seeing patients in the Foot and Ankle clinic.
