He was able to reconfirm an earlier diagnosis, which has allowed me to manage my symptoms much more effectively. He also made sure I had an updated colonoscopy, which did indeed detect new polyps, including one that was particularly difficult to detect. He has also helped get me back on track with my general digestive health, which had not been great for quite some time. The Stoneham office is calm and welcoming, and I have never experienced a long wait. Dr. Ardolino also has a wonderful assistant, Disha, who runs a tight ship. Her "can-do" attitude, combined with her kind and understanding manner, makes the entire doctor's office experience as pleasant and easy as it can be--especially considering that GI appointments aren't necessarily something anyone looks forward to! I am a two-time colon cancer survivor who has had two partial colectomies and numerous surgeries. Dr. Shah arrived and it was then and only then did he realize the extent of my history. I was astonished that he or his staff had not advised him PRIOR to the procedure. THIS WAS NOT AN EMERGENCY ROOM PROCEDURE. I have been having colonoscopies since 1981 due to a family history of colon cancer and have been scoped by numerous gastroenterologists over the last three decades and I was duly UNIMPRESSED by his lack of competence and absence of Bedside Manner.
