We went for a test drive, then headed into the office to review the car history and sign the paperwork. The atmosphere was casual, no pressure. Justin attempted to answer my questions, what he didn't know, another salesman, Tony, helped with. The manager/owner also came out and discussed how they get and vet cars. They require sellers to deliver the vehicle to the dealership, stating they will reimburse the cost of a rental car for the trip home since they do not pick vehicles up. I followed their process exactly and rented a car for the return trip. Despite multiple attempts to contact them afterward, I was never reimbursed for the rental they recommended. . Payment was also delayed. They received the title on February 5th but did not issue payment until February 13th, and that only occurred after I reached out twice asking for an update. Another concerning point: the truck was listed for sale on their website before they had paid me or even received the title. To make matters worse, my license plates were never returned. I have documentation of the agreements, the premature listing, timeline of title delivery and payment, and my attempts to follow up about the rental reimbursement. Overall this process felt disorganized, poorly communicated, and far more difficult than it should have been. If you plan to sell a vehicle here, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing and being prepared for delays, last-minute price changes, and follow-up issues.

We never received the title after the purchase. My husband repeatedly followed up with the owner, Ardy, who gave excuse after excuse. It became clear the title had never been sent. Eventually, he stopped responding altogether. When I reached out, I was also ignored--until I began posting negative reviews. Only then did he respond. He finally sent a title, but it was incomplete: it was missing a required signature and showed an active lien on the vehicle. Since then, we've been trying to get a lien release letter. Ardy has claimed for months that he's "working on it," most recently saying he would have it "any day now." He also told us the previous owner came in to sign the title properly, but when asked to confirm, he could not. He frequently contradicts himself and has repeatedly been dishonest in text communications. At this point, he has stopped responding again. We have documentation of all communication and are prepared to share it if needed. As it stands, we paid for a car that we legally do not own because the paperwork has not been properly completed. Our temporary registration expires May 13, and if this is not resolved by then, we will be forced to return the vehicle and pursue legal action, including contacting an attorney and the Attorney General's office. This experience has been completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. I strongly advise others to avoid this dealership.

I've taken my Volvo (...and before that my Saab) to Scandinavian Import Service Center a number of…read moretimes over the years, and everything other reviewers say about fair pricing and honesty is correct, but... ... On January 11th I was there first thing in the morning for a battery replacement and alignment. There was no sign on the door stating Scandinavian's masking policy, and nobody at the service desk was masked. (Montgomery County, MD's indoor masking requirement went back into effect in late November 2021 and had not be lifted as of the 11th.) I asked if Scandinavian would implement the requirement since I would be waiting for my Volvo, and the tiny waiting area is about 10 feet from the service desk. The answer was, "No." At that point, I told them to take me off the schedule and walked out. Now... I get that, on the service floor, there might be a safety issue with masking, and the county requirement takes that into account. But at the service desk, during the worst COVID surge we've seen since the start of the pandemic, I expect a business to comply and protect their customers. Regretfully... I won't be back.
