My project was complicated because my 1980s drywall shafts were the wrong size for modern solar blinds. Instead of just "making it work" or creating a huge mess with drywall dust, Zach proposed a brilliant custom solution: building a clean birch veneer box with custom trim. It looks stunning and kept my house completely dust-free. What impressed me most was Zach's integrity. During the install, a small piece of my old plastic molding snapped. Instead of ignoring it, Zach took full ownership and replaced the trim on both skylights with upgraded foam-backed wood molding at his own expense to ensure everything was airtight and uniform. It is not a simple fix but an upgrade, for free. See the attached before/after pictures and the broken plastic. Like most customers, I contacted a few contractors before selecting Winfield Builders. Their price is VERY reasonable, and the communication through Yelp was professional and transparent. It is rare to find a contractor who cares this much about the details. If you want a crew that is honest, skilled, and delivers a beautiful finish, call Zach. 1000% recommendation!

Zach made a strong impression from the start--when he came out to inspect my roof and I told him of a problem area, he went up on the roof to look at it! Replacing the roof took only one day, the crew arrived early and worked very hard. I also had the gutters replaced, opting for 6" gutters. The larger size has made a huge difference, as they're less likely to get clogged. My home is in good shape thanks to Winfield Builders!

From start to finish, the experience was outstanding! Arif was extremely professional and thorough. On repair day, Fernando and his crew were prompt, arriving at 8:30 AM just as agreed. They repaired the damaged flashing properly and corrected the siding installation the right way. THEIR WORK IS ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS! Not only was the crew professional, but they cleaned up completely after themselves and finished on time just as promised. He answered all our questions during a face-to-face meeting prior to work starting, and was extremely communicative during the two days of work, letting me know how many decking sheets the work team would need to replace as they counted them, checking in when the 100-degree heat slowed the team down, and working with me to determine whether we wanted to go ahead and replace two damaged skylights along with the roof. I have never had a better experience with a contractor, as the skills needed for such work don't often seem to come with the same skills for customer service -- ACC and Alex specifically are the exception! The work itself is also excellent, and the team spent more than an hour at the end of a very long, hot day cleaning up my yard and sweeping the premises for any fallen nails or debris. I certainly don't expect to need a new roof again any time soon, but if I have any other projects within ACC's purview, I will be hiring them again in an instant.

American Window undercut the estimates of the other two vendors by a substantial margin. We also really liked they only asked for a modest down payment. Jay was our sales contact at American Windows and he was absolutely great. He has an engaging personality, and kept all his commitments to us. We appreciated that when installation day came, he swung by to ensure all was going well. Oh, how did the installation go? It was fantastic. Not only did the windows and door come earlier than promised, the American Windows crew came on time and worked quickly and professionally. We were amazed that the whole job only took 4 1/2 hours to complete. The windows and door materials are high quality and we are very satisfied with the results.

I just wanted it replaced because it was old as a preventative measure. A lot of roofing companies were trying to tell me either because nothing was wrong with my roof, I should leave it or they were trying to take something that wasn't an issue and blow it up and they were being predatory. I worked with Artem during this process and he was incredibly thoughtful, informative, and patient with me. Due to some changes in my job, I had to travel more than usual and I wasn't able to make a decision on my roof as quickly as I would have hoped. Artem walked me through different options and looked across quotes I had gotten to help me arrive at the right option for my home. He was really honest and didn't try to upsell me anything, which was a huge relief. When it came time for roof day, Artem stopped by a few times to make sure everything was going ok. The team showed up when they were suppose to. they did the final check like they said and sent me pictures. I was a little worried after the roof was replaced that I would get random leaks but honestly it's been a few months and everything is A-ok. One of the most difficult lift home projects for myself has not been taken care of and it was an incredible and easy experience. I have already recommended Central to a few people in my neighborhood. And as a few others have said in their reviews, thank you to Artem!

For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. Highly recommended.
