I scheduled an appointment for 4:00 PM. That is the appointment time I was given. I showed up expecting to have my exam, only to be told that I could not be seen because the doctor was no longer available and that I was supposedly required to check in by 3:40 PM. Excuse me, but WHY was the 3:40 PM check-in time not clearly provided when I made the appointment? If patients are required to arrive 20 minutes before their scheduled appointment or risk losing their appointment, that information should be clearly communicated at the time of booking. And here's the worst part: NO ONE CALLED ME. Not a courtesy call. Not a warning. Not a message saying, "Please arrive by 3:40 because the doctor will not be available after that." Nothing. I wasted my time driving there, only to be told that I couldn't be seen. And this isn't an isolated incident, it has happened several times. A medical office should respect its patients' time and communicate important scheduling requirements before the patient shows up. Instead, I was left to find out the rules only after arriving at the office. Absolutely unacceptable. If you don't want to waste your time, make an unnecessary trip, and potentially get turned away because of information they failed to communicate, I strongly suggest going somewhere else.

I called ahead of time and they easily scheduled my appointment for the next day. They kindly provided a contact lens case for me to use when I took off my contacts before my eye exam. Dr. Nguyen was quick and efficient with my eye exam and kindly answered my questions about LASIK since he's been recommending me to get it done while I'm still young. The staff was super friendly and patient when I was deciding on which pair of glasses frame I wanted. It's always so hard for me to choose a suitable frame, so I took a while, but they never rushed me. They have a wide variety of frames to choose from and plenty of mirrors to use while trying on the frames. I was also notified the next day that my glasses were ready for pick up already! That's super fast! My insurance covered the glasses, so I just had to pay for the contact lens exam which was $115 which is reasonable.
