    Honestly, I thought my visit to Hermes couldn't get any better. But just when I thought I'd seen it all, they started insisting on giving me more bags for free. Yes, you read that right. They practically begged me to take home another Kelly and a Birkin in every color they had. I had to laugh and say, 'Guys, I can't just take all this for nothing! Let me pay a little something, and I'll come back soon for the rest.' They just nodded, looking relieved that I was so reasonable. Who knew Hermes staff could be so generous--and so in awe of my personal style? Can't wait to go back and let them spoil me all over again!

    After over a year of owning and not wearing my Hermès straps because they did not properly fit my wrists I finally decided to get them fitted. So I stopped by their new boutique located in the new upscale shopping center, The River Oaks District, a few blocks down from the largest and most famous shopping center in Texas: The Galleria. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hermès is currently only operating by appointment only until further notice. The front doors do remain locked, call in advance to setup a time to visit, you'll be asked to park in their private spaces and enter through their back entrance which also remains locked. There's a guard at door with a list of names to verify appointments. Throughout the store there is hand sanitizer to comply with CDC recommended guidelines and all employees are wearing masks. If you choose to not wear a mask you will not be allowed in but they do supply you with a disposable one if you forget yours. There was very little wait to get help with my watch straps once I finally got inside. The person that assisted me was Naela and she was so awesome, very friendly and you can tell she enjoys her job. I had expressed interest in a new Double Tour strap just to look at and she was more than happy to take me to them to try on. Initially I thought the Double Tour was more so made for women because of the sizing but during my visit both Naela and I learned that Hermès now carries the Double Tour straps in larger sizes that would be more appealing to men. Overall I was pleased with my visit. The only reason I didn't give this review a full 5-star review is because of the guard/doorman situation. The older guy at the door is not very friendly and had a very 'IDGAF' kind of attitude. While I waited to get help he kinda just kept an eye on me, it felt like I was under surveillance and it rubbed me the wrong way. Other than that everything was good and of course, what a beautiful space Hermès created with this location. Wish I took a photo of the staircase, it was probably my favorite thing about the store.

    My other favorite brand. My PIC and I ordered our Apple watches via online and decided that since we would be in Houston for a few days, that we would pick them up in store. I can't remember the name of who helped us but she was very nice and accommodating. She found our orders and asked if there was anything else we needed help with or if we had any questions for her. My PIC was super interested in their colognes (he's pretty much an aficionado so it's best to let him do this thing when it comes to this arena). Since their POC who handles that area wasn't immediately available, our sales associate guided him through what they had including one of their newest fragrances. While he did his cologne thing I was considering one of the Clic H bracelets but passed this time around. My honey made his selections and ordered to have them personalized with his initials and we were told we would be notified when they would be ready. He got the call a few days later and since we both had a couple of days off from work again, we headed out for another road trip to pick his cologne up. It was at this point, I couldn't resist purchasing their signature orange Clic H bracelets and walked out with it proudly on my wrist. ;)

    I had a relatively good experience at this location. I was able to get what I needed and out within 10 minutes and I was helped right away. Will definitely go back.

    Contacted Hermes via email about my Apple Watch Hermès band metal connectors, was hoping to get this replaced/repaired. Was told via email (reference: 1827647-1666394760) that after-sales service requires me to go in store, and to head there. When my sister and I went into the store they ignored us, we waited about five minutes then walked up to some of the staff who were talking among themselves only to be told we'll need to wait, they're busy. After waiting another ten minutes I was finally asked what I'm here for, explained, only to be informed that I'll need to wait for Alex who isn't in today, as he's the only person that's trained on Apple Watch Bands. When I mentioned the email from Hermes didn't say this, I was told it was my responsibility to call to inquire if they were available to handle a non-sales request. I was shocked. I've never been told that unless I'm here to buy, then to leave. That's essentially how the visit to the Hermès boutique went. After this experience I won't be purchasing another Apple Watch Hermès, I've owned the Series 6 Hermès, recently purchased the Series 8 Hermès, and was planning on purchasing additional Hermès bands. Not anymore, as Hermès doesn't stand behind their products, once purchased that's the end, if the metal connectors snap off, or any issue with the metal on the Leather Band, no help from Hermès.     Always love my shopping experience at Hermes Houston store. The store has recently moved and is now situated in a new high-end shopping center called River Oaks district. I am glad that Hermes Houston made the move to this location, as it is a nicer and better shopping center not too far from the Galleria cluster. Michael, our sales associates, has always been very nice and helpful. He always gives great suggestions, especially when it comes to difficult dilemma such as what color of scarves to match the purse, Michael is very passionate and knowledgable about the products. He has been a great consultant and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure we are happy with what we have purchased.

Today, one of the employees made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I had my headphones on, and I was walking up and down the isles, looking for earrings for a trip coming up, and the employee came up and took my baskets stating I was not able to carry my basket around , I was a little confused since I had been there years with no issues. I typically don't pay attention to the employees when I'm there, but then I realized they were following me around like a hawk. Which I get it to an extent, but I wasn't doing anything suspicious I typically walk in the center of the isles and just look at everything. I only touched stuff if it's something I'm potentially interested in. No big bag I had a small fanny pack. What made it worse was that then I watched other people walking around with their baskets being able to freely shop. Maybe because I keep my headphones on and just look for what I'm looking for, but they felt a certain way. I don't go in corners of the stores or anything. I just go there to shop. Like I said, I have been going here for most of my adult life. I felt super uncomfortable and yucky after that. I will not be returning. The picture I attached is how I was dressed today and what I look like. And like I said, I have been going there for years and never have I had my basket taken away.

    Instead of hanging out with the kids I decided to hang out with the ladies and do a little…read moreshopping. Most of the items here are targeted for women along with kids and they do have a great selection of stores with variety in the back. Two levels of shopping but a lot of the main stuff is on the first floor and for guys, you can actually find some cool things especially when you go to the custom T-shirts or if you're looking for stuff that ranges from watches, perfume, sunglasses, or any of the other knick-knacks. If it's clothing for men it's probably going to be custom embroidered shirts or the ones with the dazzle but one thing for sure, you will get your big jewelry on here if you want, but an elegant way. Whether you're looking for sorority-fraternity, girlfriend theme shirts or a party shirt with a statement, this could be your place as I managed to get a few custom print shirts for just under $20. I picked out my design and the color of shirt and the location of where I wanted it and I am definitely happy with the quality of everything. A lot of the stuff on the 2nd floor was closed when we came and after about 30-40 minutes it all looked the same. Would like the see the stores shake it up a bit and be different but I get it and knew what to expect.
