Dallas was super helpful and explained everything so well! It was my first time here and they had so many options for both men and women. I was greeted immediately as I entered, so the customer service was great! Downstairs is mostly men/unisex and jewelry, while upstairs is women. Unfortunately, they do not have bags/purses in stock at this location due to high demand. Apparently, they only get a few in and they sell out within an hour. While on business in Houston, this was my first time at this Hermes location. I was not greeted nor welcomed by anyone throughout my entire 45 minute visit. I actually waited in line at the register to speak to someone and ask for help. After flagging someone down, I was assisted by a self proclaimed newbie named Bian. Throughout the entire experience, Bian barely made eye contact, was checking his cell phone while I was browsing the items, bragged about how the product essentially sold themselves, and I got the feeling that he could care less if I purchased something or not. After I agreed to purchase two items, he then became a little more friendly, but it felt like he was doing me a favor. I wanted to build a relationship with this store and he told me I could text him anytime to order things and that he could ship them to me in California. 30-40 minutes after I left the store,  I texted him to stay in touch as he requested. Absolutely, no reply for days. In fact I am still waiting for a text response. This was incredibly unprofessional. How am I supposed to build a relationship with such a poor ambassador of Hermes? Honestly, I thought my visit to Hermes couldn't get any better. But just when I thought I'd seen it all, they started insisting on giving me more bags for free. Yes, you read that right. They practically begged me to take home another Kelly and a Birkin in every color they had. I had to laugh and say, 'Guys, I can't just take all this for nothing! Let me pay a little something, and I'll come back soon for the rest.' They just nodded, looking relieved that I was so reasonable. After over a year of owning and not wearing my Hermès straps because they did not properly fit my wrists I finally decided to get them fitted. So I stopped by their new boutique located in the new upscale shopping center, The River Oaks District, a few blocks down from the largest and most famous shopping center in Texas: The Galleria. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hermès is currently only operating by appointment only until further notice. The front doors do remain locked, call in advance to setup a time to visit, you'll be asked to park in their private spaces and enter through their back entrance which also remains locked. There's a guard at door with a list of names to verify appointments. Throughout the store there is hand sanitizer to comply with CDC recommended guidelines and all employees are wearing masks. If you choose to not wear a mask you will not be allowed in but they do supply you with a disposable one if you forget yours. There was very little wait to get help with my watch straps once I finally got inside. The person that assisted me was Naela and she was so awesome, very friendly and you can tell she enjoys her job. I had expressed interest in a new Double Tour strap just to look at and she was more than happy to take me to them to try on. Initially I thought the Double Tour was more so made for women because of the sizing but during my visit both Naela and I learned that Hermès now carries the Double Tour straps in larger sizes that would be more appealing to men. Overall I was pleased with my visit. The only reason I didn't give this review a full 5-star review is because of the guard/doorman situation. The older guy at the door is not very friendly and had a very 'IDGAF' kind of attitude. While I waited to get help he kinda just kept an eye on me, it felt like I was under surveillance and it rubbed me the wrong way. Other than that everything was good and of course, what a beautiful space Hermès created with this location. My other favorite brand. My PIC and I ordered our Apple watches via online and decided that since we would be in Houston for a few days, that we would pick them up in store. I can't remember the name of who helped us but she was very nice and accommodating. She found our orders and asked if there was anything else we needed help with or if we had any questions for her. My PIC was super interested in their colognes (he's pretty much an aficionado so it's best to let him do this thing when it comes to this arena). Since their POC who handles that area wasn't immediately available, our sales associate guided him through what they had including one of their newest fragrances. While he did his cologne thing I was considering one of the Clic H bracelets but passed this time around. My honey made his selections and ordered to have them personalized with his initials and we were told we would be notified when they would be ready. He got the call a few days later and since we both had a couple of days off from work again, we headed out for another road trip to pick his cologne up. It was at this point, I couldn't resist purchasing their signature orange Clic H bracelets and walked out with it proudly on my wrist. ;) read more

My first time here is awful. One minute inside the store and no one even tries to greet me. I'm 100% sure that it's not due to reasons of busyness or anything, at least 5 SA were standing stood there and watched us like we were wondering monkey. After 30 seconds of staring into one SA's bare eyes, he sent another lady to talk to us and this lady seems quite confused about what they had in store and called the guy who sent her here to answer. So I explained what I was looking for but he said "we don't have anything (bags, even herbag, CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS????). You can keep listing names but we wouldn't be able to find them in at least two years. There are people waiting for picotin two years already. If you want you need to wait afterwards." Such a bad liar My second and following visits are great, thanks to a great SA person. But still, they started getting slow shipments after COVID, so you might expect a bit longer time than before if you want specific items. Three stars for the slow inventory shipping-in. I walked over to Hermes a couple of Saturdays from my weekend abode at The Grey House Apartments. During the week I live in My house in West U. I had only 45 minutes u til they closed at 6:00pm. By the time I get to the door I'm sweating like a pig on this extraordinarily hot day. As I try to walk into the store a security guard stops me and tells me I need to wait outside. Ugh.... Annoying but fine. I stood outside in FULL SUN outside for 10 minutes. Three patrons walk out, but I'm left waiting outside. I finally lock eyes with the security guard and say, "can I come in now?" He responds, "NO. There is nobody available to help you." I respond, "I'm here to look at belts and Apple Watch bands. I don't need assistance to do so. " Then he waves me off like I'm some peddler. This treatment is unacceptable. I shop at Cartier all the time and at least they have a sign that says "appointment required". And their sales staff is very nice. Hermes sucks balls. read more

Contacted Hermes via email about my Apple Watch Hermès band metal connectors, was hoping to get this replaced/repaired. Was told via email (reference: 1827647-1666394760) that after-sales service requires me to go in store, and to head there. When my sister and I went into the store they ignored us, we waited about five minutes then walked up to some of the staff who were talking among themselves only to be told we'll need to wait, they're busy. After waiting another ten minutes I was finally asked what I'm here for, explained, only to be informed that I'll need to wait for Alex who isn't in today, as he's the only person that's trained on Apple Watch Bands. When I mentioned the email from Hermes didn't say this, I was told it was my responsibility to call to inquire if they were available to handle a non-sales request. I was shocked. I've never been told that unless I'm here to buy, then to leave. That's essentially how the visit to the Hermès boutique went. After this experience I won't be purchasing another Apple Watch Hermès, I've owned the Series 6 Hermès, recently purchased the Series 8 Hermès, and was planning on purchasing additional Hermès bands. Not anymore, as Hermès doesn't stand behind their products, once purchased that's the end, if the metal connectors snap off, or any issue with the metal on the Leather Band, no help from Hermès. Always love my shopping experience at Hermes Houston store. The store has recently moved and is now situated in a new high-end shopping center called River Oaks district. I am glad that Hermes Houston made the move to this location, as it is a nicer and better shopping center not too far from the Galleria cluster. Michael, our sales associates, has always been very nice and helpful. He always gives great suggestions, especially when it comes to difficult dilemma such as what color of scarves to match the purse, Michael is very passionate and knowledgable about the products. Lately, I have been spending all my money here at Hermes (and Dior next door!) as I felt Chanel is becoming way too snobby. Excellent customer service both times I visited. Walked in and was greeted by everyone. I was assigned to John for my first walked in, and he is truly the best! He is so patient with my indecisiveness, very friendly, and go above and beyond to make your shopping experiences wonderful. I visited other Hermes boutiques in other major cities, great customer service but I feel this local Houston boutique they have the best stocks (vast selection, even some hard to find twilly designs!) Interior design is spectacular, although I try not to browse around too much or I will be tempted to buy everything inside the store. Love this new location, glad it's not clustered inside the same Galleria block as traffic is a nightmare to turn into the Galleria. If you want to spend a lot of money on the woman or women of your life, or if you're a guy and want to be the most fashionable drag queen around (don't take me seriously, I'm just joking), this is the place for you to do it. The prices are definitely high, but so is the quality and the style. I was surprised when I went in that the place was so crowded, but more crowded with customers from South America than America. I probably should have been surprised at that because after speaking with a few of them I was quickly informed that this particular Hermes store not only has a superior selection but prices lower than found in their own countries. As I only needed a blouse and a few scarfs for gifts I wasn't raking up anywhere near the bills of the other customers but that didn't seem to make any difference to the Hermes wait staff which went out of their way in assisting me with my selections. I've been to a few Hermes stores before and confess that I thought I was met with a certain degree of wait staff arrogance and snobbery, but not here. I came in a few times and admitted upfront that I wasn't going to buy anything that day, but that I needed to see the leathers and get comfortable with the right size and color. For the price, the quality of post-purchase support is appalling. I called the main headquarters and left a message and they did get back to me promptly, but then they pretty informed me (without directly telling me) that they don't really have a support infrastructure. They offered to pass my information along to the Hermès store in Houston and they followed up as well, but it's pretty much a non-starter on getting any resolution to my issue because they're over 200 miles away. Your impolite staff prioritizes huddling around the cash register & chatting amongst each other than providing assistance to customers. After being in your store for over 5 minutes your employees continued to ignore me & delayed service. When I asked your employee to bring me a size they responded with verbatim "uh do you just want to look at it or..." I have never experienced such atrocious customer service in my entire life. Although I will NEVER be purchasing another Hermès product, I recommend you invest in sales etiquette training for your staff. As well as a customer service program for your store managers who have the greatest impact on setting the precedent for employee engagement. Who doesn't love Hermes? John was my sales associate and I've been seeing him since he was at the old location by Post Oak. I went in years ago looking to buy my mom a belt for her birthday and came back because he was so kind. Back in 2013, Hermes wasn't as popular as it is today. At least in my opinion because not everyone was rocking a Hermes belt or a Birkin. Even at the store they didn't supply as many belts and I had to wait months to get my mom the belt she wanted. It took about a month or two and the moment John got the Black and Tan reversible belt with the silver Buckle 32 mm I believe and called me the moment he received it in! Talk about great costumer service! So now, it's my turn! I came into the store looking for my belt and I got the Black and Tan reversible belt in a size with a gold H buckle! I'm pretty tiny so I got the smallest size belt and John even had to make me an extra hole. It was super quick and I'm so happy with my purchase! Can't wait to come back and buy a Birkin! read more

Another lady walked into the store (persian, with her Birkin, established client) kisses and hugs a different SA. She starts looking at belts also and wanted to purchase the one I had already chosen. The crazy thing is that my SA told me sorry, I think that lady is purchasing it now. She ended up changing her mind but they would have let the item go to her instead.. I didn't believe the 5-star hype before until I finally experienced the excellent customer service myself. Probably the best experience I've had in a high end store in quite some time. Decided to take my lunch break over at Hermes to find an item to mark a special occasion in my life. Was very surprised that at 11:30am the store had more than a handful of customers inside. I've usually found luxe stores to be quite empty during lunch hour with many, many sales attendants bored to the core who will eye you up and down once you enter their pristine doors. Not so with Hermes. I walked in, quietly browsed around, and was genuinely and cheerfully greeted by a sales attendant. I told her what I was interested in and she gladly pulled out several items for me to look at. I took quite a while to browse but not once did she make me feel rushed. She was never pushy in promoting any one particular item and even told me that I don't have to buy anything at this moment and that I could always go home, think about it, and call or come back if/when I've made a decision. When I did decide what I wanted (between two items--which weren't in stock at the store), she said she'd gladly look up which branch would have it. As she walked away, I kept browsing and browsing and ALL the attendants were just as nice/helpful to me. By some miracle (and through the sales attendant's persistence), one of the items did end up being in the store (but was not cataloged/inventoried yet) and I was able to walk out with it that day. I was so grateful to her (and all the staff, really) for making the experience such a pleasant one! There were no pretenses, no snooty air about all the sales attendants there (Prada Galleria---please pay attention). It appeared they were as equally excited & joyful with everyone's purchases. Yes. I have heard the horror stories of people getting snubbed at Hermes by the SA. So I was a little scared to go in there. The first time I went, I was greeted by this SA named Robert. He was pretty nice. Bought a few ties and a bracelet. That was last year. I just went again last week, looked for Robert, and was informed Robert is no longer there, so John is the new guy. This guy is the bomb. He is super nice, super helpful, un-pretentious. I had fun actually shopping there. I bought a wallet and tie, and I told him I'm also looking for a Kelly dog bracelet in Gold hardware. Of course, he has none in stock. However he promised to call me, which HE DID within the same week. He had 2 actually and held it for me until I came again today to the store. I am so glad I met him. I will continue to buy from him. This Hermes earns a 5 star in my book. I have yet to visit any other Hermes store besides the one in Singapore. Super crowded. read more
