This place earned every star I've offered! It's cute and clean with AWESOME view..the food is fresh, creative menu but the SERVICE is SO good it's freaky...in the best possible way! My waitress, Sammi offered a perfect rhythm of attention and space...bringing coffee when my cup just needed the fortification. I could over hear other staff inquiring about vacations, fishing trips, hiking expeditions...one server even brought his customer a written list of his fav fishing holes in the area!! Herm's absolutely kills it. As far as brunch goes, I wouldn't consider any other spot in Logan. Their menu seems fairly traditional, but they take food to the next level. We come to Logan a few times a year and have been so glad we discovered Herm's Inn in 2020. The food is flavorful and portions are generous - great on our way up or down Logan Canyon for a day of play. The breakfast is top notch. I love the veggie omelette and my partner loves the breakfast burrito. ALSO be sure to get the pancake. It is somehow both thick and super fluffy and has some amazing citrus zest which is the best thing that could happen to your tastebuds. Surprised by the quality of this little gem in Logan. Beautiful location, great food at reasonable prices. There was a lag in the kitchen when we visited; 3 in our large party got their meals 10 mins later than the table. Server was great about it though, apologized & immediately offered a discount for the inconvenience, which was appreciated. I love it when staff takes ownership and solves problems proactively. So from the reviews we were expecting great service and great food but it was more than that.. it was exceptional! From the moment we walked in everyone was warm and welcoming, even talking to the kid (7 yr old) - making him feel great! The menu was easy to read the the choices are plentiful. There really is something for every one including vegan options. My coffee and water were always full and there was someone close if we needed anything. The waitress was very kind and made sure to check on us often. The wait was short and the food was delicious! The presentation of the food was perfect and the taste was even better! Very fresh, didn't have a frozen/recooked food feel that a lot of places have now days. Everything was light and fluffy. We will be coming back here again! read more

I'm surprised I've never reviewed the "oh so famous Herms Inn" before! I've been here plenty of times, mostly because I live with 9 other Basic White Girls who love breakfast foods. Let me start with the downside: IT IS SO BUSY. All the time. Everyday. Everywhere you go. And you can't call ahead to reserve a table---you have to go an hour earlier than you were planning to actually eat. So bring a snack as to not whither away and die while you wait and hope the Ladies Bookclub leaves soon so you can have their table. The upside: the food is incredible. Honestly, it's just tasty taste. I'm really good at ordering the breakfast burrito or omelet because it comes with a side of their delicious skillet potatoes. The decor is fun and bustling, it makes you feel like you're playing a part in a movie in New York..at least I'm assuming, I've actually never been to New York. TIPS & TRICKS: * They are well known for their $5 Cinnamon Swirl Pancake, and it is delightful! But trust me, you'll only need one for a party of 6 as a "dessert". * Get their Mac and Cheese as a side, you will not regret it. Even if it's breakfast time, no, ESPECIALLY if it's breakfast time. It changes everyday, but the one I had was Bacon and Green Pea Mac & Cheese. Wow. Our friends live in Logan and we've eaten here multiple times. They are busy at times but they have an inviting area outside with comfy chairs to relax in until your table is ready. If I could give zero stars I would. I found a long hair cooked into my food, when we tried to inform our waitress she ignored us and walked away from our table. We then had to inform the other waitress that came to fill up our drinks, when we kindly informed her she responded with attitude. For the remainder of our visit the waitresses glared at us and treated us with attitude. At the end of our visit when we headed to the restroom we could see into the kitchen, all of the cooks didn't have hairnets on and we saw one cook with his long hair not even fully tied back. The waitress told us that we would have a discount on our meal which was only $4 off of the $16 dollar menu item that had the hair in it, that we were unable to even finish half of. From my experience in the food industry this restaurants cleanliness and customer service is such a disappointment. I would not recommend this restaurant. read more

So many veggies and a lot of cheese and cooked perfect. The potatoes were okay. I wouldn't waste my calories on them. Order another pancake. Seriously so yummy and perfect. This is one of my all time favorite when visiting the area. Most of my family live nearby. We had my mom Mother's Day Brunch celebration. We needed special accommodation since my mom needs wheelchair. This restaurant has elevators and the bathrooms all situated bottom floor so it was perfect setup for us. Where to start! In all honesty, I was worried that as a brunch place, it'd be a little pretentious. I got there, was told I'd have up to 45 minutes in wait time, unless my wife and I were willing to eat at the bar. We said sure, so it was only a 15 minute wait. Now, the atmosphere is nice, cozy, and totally inviting. I was glad to be wrong about it feeling pretentious. First, let's talk about the staff. They are super friendly, for sure some top shelf people. They told us what they loved, asked our likes, and pointed us in the right direction. The coffee mug was always topped off, as well as my wife's soda. (It wasn't diet, but her metabolism can pull it off, once it slows she will either switch or get fat like me) Now, the food! We ordered a total of 6 dishes in two days from here, and all 6 were incredible! If you like a Reuben then get one, but my personal favorite was the Cuban sandwich. It's genuine perfection on a sandwich. I like a Reuben, and I like a Cuban, and they make both at an elite level. My wife got herself a turkey avocado which was quite nice. Add bacon to that bad boy and get a side of their ranch to dip it in and take it to another level! Their Mac and cheese specials? Exquisite.
