Hermitage Golf Course is absolutely beautiful! The course is well maintained, scenic, and fun to play. Staying on the property made the experience even better! Super convenient and relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great golf getaway!

I'm not the most well traveled golf tourist, but when I find a reasonably priced, well-maintained, public course out of state, I feel it's my duty to share my review. The golf course was in amazing condition with (despite the recent heat) soft greens and fairways, well manicured from tee box to green and a beautiful facility... Oh, and of course, sheep! We played the week following aeration, but the greens were still manageable and we received a $10 credit on our round which was reasonable.

My friends and I love golf, but we normally slum it and play a cheaper course, because simply put we're not that good. We stepped up our game and decided to play the Hermitage course and we're blown away by the greens here. The course is beautifully maintained and easy to navigate thanks to the digital map in our golf carts. I believe hole 9 was the nuttiest hole with it having a literal 90' right turn at the end of the fairway. I really enjoyed the shorter holes and the challenging water features. The golf carts here are plush and come with bluetooth speakers, easy course mapping and distance guides, plus a digital score card. The restaurant, Hickory Sticks Grill, overlooks hole 18 and offers a full bar and a loaded menu. Plenty of snacks, sandwiches, burgers, and breakfast served all day. Normally when we play the "cheaper" courses it's about $30 each not including the cart. For an extra $25 to play here, Hermitage is definitely worth it! We will be back, but maybe when it's not 100' outside.

See the BROWN grass? Looks good and you should not be hitting the ball there anyway.... but folks do. Just play it as a lateral hazard.

It has been several years since I have paid to play here. Have played in a few corporate events here. Those have been on the Presidents..... used to call it the new course, but it is not new anymore. Friday prices have damn near doubled, let's say in the last 5 years. $93..... Course is in great shape. Generals has taken a new look with the non-golf areas getting some 3 foot tall grass. Looks awesome, but no forgiveness. By non-golf, I mean between fairways, around greens, generally in slice and hook MISS areas.... :) Need to speed along play and just play it as LATERAL Hazard vs Lost Ball. Carts don't have coolers anymore, and the drink girls only made it around 2 times on the 1st 9. We had to call the club house on the 2nd 9 and by 7 holes the girl made it back to us. Would have bought more, but NO COOLERS and 90 degrees, even the ice bag did not make it 4 holes.

Played here a few days ago and needless to say, i wasn't impressed. For the amount they're charging people, I expected the course to be in better condition. Tee boxes overgrown with weeds and the fairway full of non repaired divots. As you can tell by the pictures, they don't have an ice chest or sand to fill in the divots I mentioned. This place is not worth the amount they're charging.

I went with my husband so he could hit some balls, which is the best deal for $18.00 and you hit as long as you want as long as there are balls available to fill your bucket. It has a chipping area as well as a putting area. It's a very nice facility. So after a couple of buckets, we grabbed a salad and drinks at the clubhouse. Now this is where I have to say was the best chicken salad salad at. I love chicken salad but often has grapes and not a fan. This had no fruit but was so delicious. I would definitely come back for this.

All I can say is wow. This course is very very well Kept. And the staff is amazing. Came into town for business and we had a charity tournament for St Jude here. The course is amazing and quite a challenge. They have a herd of goats that roam the courses which was a sight. Lots of other wildlife about as well. Turkeys, deer, bobcats, turtles. They have cottages on the course you can stay in and they are Super super nice. Highly recommend for a weekends guys trip!!

Upon arrival, you step into the elegantly restored mansion with historic decor and are immediately transported to an earlier time and place of architectural beauty. The grounds are stunning, featuring varieties of trees, flowers, and birds. We enjoyed immensely the peaceful walks around the grounds every morning and evening. As incredible as the property is, the staff made our stay remarkable. Kellie, Sarah, and Brian exceeded all expectations for extraordinary service! The breakfasts were delicious and different every morning and all the staff genuinely wanted to make our dining experience perfect! I mean, Opry the hotel is immaculate and you don't really have to ever leave once you're there. And the soundwaves waterpark is like double icing on top of the most perfect cake. Even when it rains, you can still enjoy the inside waterpark, and because it is private to only hotel guests, it never felt crowded. We never really had to wait in line for a waterslide, the two lazy rivers were never over congested, and the individual surf lessons on the surf machine might've been a family favorite. We just kept trying over and over and over again until we could do the tricks they were teaching us. Bonus: amazing instructors! Already thinking I should book for next year and do the same thing over again, it was that magical!

Positives are the adults-only areas, nice staff, and several pools and activities to choose from. Negatives - $42 for 2 small alcoholic beverages plus tip? Crazy. Those resort fees are real. However, this time around they got a deal I couldn't refuse $65/night with full hot breakfast to stay about 20' away from downtown Nashville so I took it. The whole family is quite impressed with the level of cleanliness and attentive customer service we got here. 1. the room when I first open the door to step into doesn't smell like cheap motel like Motel 6 or Super 8 etc... 2. Water pressure is nice on 2nd floor 3. Good enough TV programming to keep the kid busy and entertained 4. Microwave and mini fridge: super useful for a family like mine whose kid is a picky eater and will only eat his own food which we pack from home on this 7 day trip 5. Fruit infused water in the motel lobby: It's quite nice to drink ice cold fruit infused water after a long day out side the minute we step inside the hotel 6. Hot breakfast: the usual like scrambled eggs, Biscuits, yogurt, waffles, sausages, bagels, cream cheese, juice, for this price this is way above our expectations 7. There is an elderly couple who clean rooms and unlike typical hotel room cleaners at cheap hotels they actually initiated greetings every time they saw us making us feel welcome. We will for sure stay at another Country Inn and Suites in the future because of this very positive experience, the Radisson brand somehow has made a come back exceeding our expectations. I'm accustomed to city sounds (comforted by them actually, having grown up in large metropolitan heavily populated areas with 24/7 activity ). For travelers less experienced with city sounds, or visitors coming into Nashville for tourist events, the security processes in place at the Hermitage Woodspring Suites are a very reassuring compliment to the very normal city/traffic sounds one will hear. In fact, this hotel is more secure than most traditional hotels because access to the lobby after hours is room key controlled; access to room corridors and hallways is also room key controlled, almost like a hotel equivalent of multi layer authentication which makes me feel especially safe.....I know I won't see random people roaming the hallways which adds to the privacy and most importantly, security. Many older (and more expensive) hotels do not offer this type of gated community hotel security equivalent which is a huge perk. The staff work 24/7 to be accommodating and welcoming; I have witnessed them on many occasions go way above and beyond to problem solve and create solutions for all types of guests needs, be it inquiries from short term visitors or long term residents. If you have a need, question or concern, bring it to the attention of any one of the employees and I guarantee they will help you figure it out or advise available options. Another great feature of this hotel is LOCATION. Literally take two quick right turns and you're on the interstate. SUPER helpful if you are driving throughout Nashville (which is notorious for absurd and unpredictable traffic), or even if you're getting an Uber ride or Lyft. Many places in Hermitage will take you an hour in traffic just to *GET* to the interstate; this hotel is insanely perfectly located and a huge time saver for this very reason, not to mention you can literally be at the BNA International Airport in 7-10 minutes from this location. Highly recommend, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Woodspring Suites Hermitage is a hidden gem in Hermitage that offers so many hidden perks, there is no other place I would recommend if you are considering an extended stay or looking for accomodations when visiting Nashville.
