The Suburban Extended Stay - Hermitage, TN…read more The Suburban Extended Stay in Hermitage, TN is the shoestring songwriter's place to stay when visiting Nashville. It is conveniently located close to the airport, groceries, restaurants and is only 20-30 minutes to most Nashville attractions including the Bluebird Café where I happened to be performing (20 min). I recommend Nadine's close by for some down home food and charm. There is park access to Lake Percy Priest close by, including a beach, trail, fishing opportunities and a place to find some quiet. There is a kitchenette with a large refrigerator which is essential for the budget traveler. #TheSuburbanExtendedStay

It's been about 22 years since I last stayed at a Radisson brand hotel due to a very bad experience…read moreI had back in the early mid 2000's in FL. However, this time around they got a deal I couldn't refuse $65/night with full hot breakfast to stay about 20' away from downtown Nashville so I took it. The whole family is quite impressed with the level of cleanliness and attentive customer service we got here. 1. the room when I first open the door to step into doesn't smell like cheap motel like Motel 6 or Super 8 etc... 2. Water pressure is nice on 2nd floor 3. Good enough TV programming to keep the kid busy and entertained 4. Microwave and mini fridge: super useful for a family like mine whose kid is a picky eater and will only eat his own food which we pack from home on this 7 day trip 5. Fruit infused water in the motel lobby: It's quite nice to drink ice cold fruit infused water after a long day out side the minute we step inside the hotel 6. Hot breakfast: the usual like scrambled eggs, Biscuits, yogurt, waffles, sausages, bagels, cream cheese, juice, for this price this is way above our expectations 7. There is an elderly couple who clean rooms and unlike typical hotel room cleaners at cheap hotels they actually initiated greetings every time they saw us making us feel welcome. We will for sure stay at another Country Inn and Suites in the future because of this very positive experience, the Radisson brand somehow has made a come back exceeding our expectations. This is an equivalence of Marriott and Hilton 2nd tiered brands for real.,

I later received an email saying they were sorry their communication practices were not suitable for me. When I pointed out that a better reply would have been to simply get someone at the hotel to verify whether any keys were turned in, I received a preachy response that started with, "First and foremost, please be mindful of your tone when communicating with me." Yes sir! What nonsense. Avoid at all costs.

Staff is amazing, helpful and kind. Lobby is warm, friendly, and inviting. Most importantly, the…read moresafety / security controls are very reassuring. I'm accustomed to city sounds (comforted by them actually, having grown up in large metropolitan heavily populated areas with 24/7 activity ). For travelers less experienced with city sounds, or visitors coming into Nashville for tourist events, the security processes in place at the Hermitage Woodspring Suites are a very reassuring compliment to the very normal city/traffic sounds one will hear. In fact, this hotel is more secure than most traditional hotels because access to the lobby after hours is room key controlled; access to room corridors and hallways is also room key controlled, almost like a hotel equivalent of multi layer authentication which makes me feel especially safe.....I know I won't see random people roaming the hallways which adds to the privacy and most importantly, security. Many older (and more expensive) hotels do not offer this type of gated community hotel security equivalent which is a huge perk. The staff work 24/7 to be accommodating and welcoming; I have witnessed them on many occasions go way above and beyond to problem solve and create solutions for all types of guests needs, be it inquiries from short term visitors or long term residents. If you have a need, question or concern, bring it to the attention of any one of the employees and I guarantee they will help you figure it out or advise available options. Another great feature of this hotel is LOCATION. Literally take two quick right turns and you're on the interstate. SUPER helpful if you are driving throughout Nashville (which is notorious for absurd and unpredictable traffic), or even if you're getting an Uber ride or Lyft. Many places in Hermitage will take you an hour in traffic just to *GET* to the interstate; this hotel is insanely perfectly located and a huge time saver for this very reason, not to mention you can literally be at the BNA International Airport in 7-10 minutes from this location. Highly recommend, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Woodspring Suites Hermitage is a hidden gem in Hermitage that offers so many hidden perks, there is no other place I would recommend if you are considering an extended stay or looking for accomodations when visiting Nashville.

TERRIBLE. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO TAKE BED BUGS HOME WITH YOU…read more First, we booked our room online and paid for a room with a king bed. We checked in and we were told we were all set, but when we got to our room it was had two double beds. We called the front desk and the guy working was a total jerk about it and refused to move us. It wasn't the end of the world that we had two beds, but it wasn't what we paid for. Second, it claims to be redone and clean and well taken care of, but it was trashed. Unknown stains all over the place, holes in the walls and we had some lovely demon drawings on our door. Lastly, we were laying in bed relaxing before going out and sure enough, out crawls a bed bug from under the comforter. We called the front desk and he said he would move us one room over. When we got into the second room we scoured the beds and almost right away we found bed bugs. The only good thing that came out of this situation was when we went to the front desk and told them we found more bed bugs he said we would be refunded. Absolutely disgusting, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

A special thank you to Chaz, Kiara, the breakfast team, and the entire staff for making us feel welcome throughout our stay. After taking a red-eye flight into Nashville, Chaz & Kiara went above and beyond by helping us get into our room around 10 a.m. Knowing normal check-in isn't until later in the afternoon, that accommodation was absolutely clutch and allowed our family to rest and recharge. Chaz also shared helpful tips about the area and helped us save money by booking directly through the hotel. Those little things made a big difference and were greatly appreciated. Kiara was phenomenal as well. She was always friendly, patient, and willing to answer our many questions. She provided great recommendations on places to visit, eat, and explore around Nashville, which helped make our trip even better. The complimentary water bottles, breakfast service, bar staff, room quality, and overall cleanliness were all excellent. The location was perfect for our needs close to Tennessee State University while still being a quick trip to downtown Nashville and Broadway. It's easy to find a nice hotel, but it's the people who make the experience memorable. Chaz, Kiara, and the Hyatt House team delivered exceptional hospitality. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Hyatt House to anyone visiting Nashville.
