Winding paths and different levels. The astro turf is in adequate to good condition, holes are fun to play. You probably want to go in the daytime since it looks like a lot of the lights are not working. Keep an eye on kids since there are some pokey sticks and loose masonry. Great old fixtures like the lighthouse and the cottage have been vandalized over the years but you can see how nice they were once. It was $7.50 for kids and seniors. Not crowded, only one other family playing.

This is probably the best "mini golf" experience we've ever had. The tech-infused game made things…read morea lot more interesting and fun. They don't count shots - they tabulate points. The fewer shots you take, the more points you get - BUT, you can get points for hitting certain marks (like connecting four in the Connect Four game, or answering the Trivial Pursuit question correctly, etc). Each hole is creative and is more than just a putt. There are some downsides... to start, you have to park somewhere. It can be tough to find street parking, so you end up $20-some in the hole parking in a ramp. Downtowns...amiright? It was pretty busy when we were there - all the courses were packed. The first few holes were pretty slow, but things picked up a bit. I heard there was bar service out on the courses, but I didn't see any (though there were empty glasses and bottles on all the pub tables). With all that, the golfing was incredible and I would totally do it again. We only hit 9 holes (on a schedule - all we could do), but I'd be totally down to do their "all you can play" deal and make it a day.

Great par three disc golf course for beginners…read more This course is a full 18 holes and follows a pretty tight circle pattern, in fact you can pretty much see the parking lot from every tee box. The fairways are pretty tight in some spots and if I were you, I would play with a bright colored disc. If your shot goes into the wooded areas there's a good chance you could lose one of your discs. The course is very secluded, literally there's nothing around here. There are no bathrooms and just a small 8 spot parking lot. The neighborhoods down the street are quickly developing and pretty soon this place could be a very busy. So if you're looking to get in here before the crowds, now is the time!

We had a blast, even though none of us had played before. My mom enjoyed it, too, and she's in her 70s, so this game can be enjoyed by anyone! The shade provided by the beautiful trees makes it feel like you're enjoying nature while you're getting in a bit of exercise & having some fun with family & friends. The course was easy to follow & we saw a few people who are really great at this game, but they were gracious to our large group & we also let the fast players pass our slow group. Founded in 1945, Seven Oaks Park has 76 acres, a playground, restrooms, a picnic shelter, a…read morebaseball field, a tennis court, and a disc golf course. There is frustratingly little known about the history of the land. We know that the city of Nashville purchased the land from private citizens, and the purchase was partially funded by a federal Open Spaces grant, and that's about it. That Open Spaces grant probably has something to do with the usage of the land, and how undeveloped it still is today. It's pretty nice how natural a large part of this park is. The ball field is pretty snazzy, and it was funded by Conway Twitty in the '80s. It's a pretty quiet and large pocket of natural area in the city, and I quite enjoyed it.
