    9 tee box towards clubhouse.

Place is consistently ranked one of the best in the state. Super fun layout, well maintained fairways and greens. Good pro shop with fast responsive staff. We'd prepaid so it was a simple fast check in. Our group had a blast and will be back for sure. Seems like a track that a little local knowledge would be great on. Very neat to see some of the rock features poking through on signature holes, also I was (unfortunately) impressed with the quality of the sand in the bunkers. Look forward to playing again, very well worth the rate we paid. No contact from folks on our pace of play like the former review.

There are no better fairways in the heat of summer than zoysia. This is a good golf course with plenty of challenge from all tees. It gets lots of play and the bent grass greens show it. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone fixed a ball mark? The greenside bunkers need some work - they are compacted - but an enjoyable round of golf.

Fairways and tee boxes are fine but the greens are in terrible condition. I don't know what happened but it can't be from lack of water.

The course was in horrible shape. The greens were almost unplayable, nothing but mud and divots. For $90, it was an absolute rip off.

Amazing golf course, nice fairways and greens in a good shape. One of the best public course in Tennessee. Come to play and enjoy!

DO NOT JOIN THIS CLUB unless you are an absolute self loathing golf junkie. Temple Hills is not an…read moreactual country club. It's a golf course that also happens to have a pool and a grille. Before you join, you should talk to at least 3 different members and ask them about their experience at Temple Hills and if ownership ever actually makes them feel like they are a member of a country club. I was, up until recently, a member for over 10 years and I can promise that anyone leaving a positive review on this site is not a member. You will never feel like a member of a country club while being here - other than paying $745 a month in dues, which doesn't include carts ($225 month), and XLife ($75). Save your money and just play as a guest! You could play here as a guest 8 times a month, still come out cheaper than being a member, and not have to deal with the frustrations of having your dues increase every year and getting nothing in return. Temple Hills isn't member owned, but it hasn't always been this bad. For the past 6 years, it's been owned by a vampire conglomerate corporation called Invited Clubs (go read their reviews. Maybe it's time for another rebrand?). Invited Clubs runs the place exactly like private equity would - they suck every last penny out of the club and reinvest nothing back. Our biggest investment/addition to our dilapidated club house last year was a $100 air compressor to clean your shoes before you enter so that we protect our grease stained carpet squares. Come tour the facilities and you will see exactly why everyone here despises the owners. Notice all the beautiful pictures on the wall in the hallway are of OTHER INVITED COUNTRY CLUBS, not ours. Talk about a slap in the face having to see that every time you enter the club house. For years, we've been promised upgrades. We've gone through multiple GM's and golf pros and nothing ever gets better because the ownership stays the same - just like the furniture and terrible food. Do not believe them when they say they are going to make investments. Our only hope was that Invited would eventually sell the place. I mentioned XLife earlier. This is an additional monthly charge that allows members to get half off dine in (only) food. Here's the problems with that - the food is terrible and overpriced. Also, Invited has clamped down so hard on spending, the restaurant is closed at least 3 days a week "due to staffing issues," even though your dues pay for them to be open. They also make zero food from scratch here, just reheated/fried Sysco slop. The best you can get in the mornings is a microwaved sausage biscuit, but only on the weekends and not until 9:30 when the "cook" finally shows up. I can promise that you will never entertain a client over a meal in the restaurant. It's that embarrassing. We didn't have a legit chef the last 5 years I was there, just a busted Waffle House crew that smells like weed. Usually, a place with food this terrible has great drink specials, but not here. We paid more for a beer at our country club than we do for any bar in the area. Seriously, you'll have a better and cheaper meal at Chili's. And the hardest part of it all to digest while you're shucking out $1k monthly is that MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE. They've already got your monthly dues in their pocket and that's good enough for them. The members would actually be better served if they leased the kitchen to someone else who has incentive to serve great food and keep the place packed. My advice to anyone thinking of joining here is to go visit Old Natchez, Nashville Golf Club, Westhaven, and Legends. Notice the facilities and amenities - the parking lot, the clubhouse, the restaurant, the furniture, and the menu. Take inventory of the vibe with the staff. How are they dressed and how do they present themselves? Does it look like they are reinvesting back into the club? Then come visit Temple Hills. The differences between here and other clubs are staggering, but keep in mind, the monthly dues are all cheaper elsewhere! Yes, Temple Hills has no waiting list and very low initiation fees, but there's a reason. The signs of a poorly managed business are everywhere as soon as you step onto the property and into the clubhouse. Don't make the same mistake I made. Talk to an actual member before you join!!!!!! To the management at Temple Hills - Before you reach out to me on here to dispel my opinion of the club, just know that I raised these concerns for 6 years and you did nothing. Too late now.

I would say that I really liked it. It took about 30ish minutes to complete. We didn't get food or drinks because we planned on getting them at our next stop. While this place was lovely and fun, I didn't not like how it started for a hot sec. Originally, I purchased a Groupon for their 9 hole experience which was $27. I got my code and put it in the website. However, the website wouldn't accept it. So when I went to call the restaurant to see how to correct the issue, there was no answer for 5 calls and an left voicemail. So I decided to purchase another 9 hole experience on their website. Which meant I paid $61 to play this game. But Groupon will refund me.
