As soon as Samantha learned it would be a bachelorette party she had apparently made her mind up about not giving us our deposit back. She was incredibly rude, hostile and unprofessional. Let me also add that it was a party of mid-30s to 40 year old mothers...not a bunch of 20 something's looking to rage. We were accused of damaging property which couldn't be farther from the truth. Apparently Sam noted calcifications on the stove top, and if you know anything about chemistry you would know that calcifications don't happen in the 72 hours that we were there. Also accused us of bringing in sand and leaves...leaves maybe from our shoes but it was not intentional. but were never in contact with any sand. Our group was quite respectful of the beautiful property, and it's a shame that the owner is a miserable person. The porch was by far our favorite, having coffee out there each morning. We were so excited for this location and we discussed making it an annual trip as we loved this location. But honestly probably not unless we get an apology for the treatment we received and obviously our deposit back. The owner refuses to show time stamped photos to her claims to prove we in fact caused the damages she is claiming we causes. Please also note the house sleeps 10 people. We had 10 people. Each day we took out a bag of trash. Yes we did accumulate a lot of trash as we cooked and ate at the house. But all our trash was cleaned up and put in the location specified. It's very sad cause we are not people who would EVER disrespect a property. We have morals and values!

If you're a Williamson County resident, be sure to check out the Community Passports available through the library for free admission opportunities. Our tour guide, David, was outstanding. He truly transported us back in time, bringing the people, stories, and events of the Civil War to life in a way that was engaging and memorable. Two moments especially stayed with me. First, seeing the bullet holes that remain in the property was a powerful reminder of just how intense the Battle of Franklin was. Second, standing in the basement where a diverse group of people gathered together seeking safety during the fighting was incredibly moving. It's one thing to read about history in a book and another to stand in the very place where people experienced it and recognize how little time has passed. Whether you're a local or just visiting Franklin, I highly recommend taking the tour. It's a meaningful and fascinating look into a pivotal moment in American history.

They make false promises just so you pay them, all they cared about is the penny going into their pockets. If you aren't "white" I would recommend you not hosting your event because they do not know how to show respect to your ethnicity. Once our event was over they sent us a picture of a pole that was already broken before and made us pay a fee. I also asked my coordinator if it was already there from earlier they said it was I also asked others who hosted their event there. I really do not recommend this venue whatsoever.

We went to a fundraising event here recently…read more The event itself was wonderful. Unfortunately, the evening was ruined by the clueless staff of this facility. It was a December evening, that started out fine. The food was OK and about halfway through the evening as the staff begin clearing the tables they opened all the back doors to the venue And left them open for the rest of the evening. The evening was 32°. Needless to say the draft from the open doors quickly filled the room and nobody picked up on the fact that everybody was running for their coats and sat there huddled freezing, trying to enjoy the evening while the event/facility staff walked about with the doors wide open. this is not the first time we've been to an event here, but will always think twice before attending another one.

Cement floor, fold out chairs and absolutely freezing. Not only was it cold, but for some reason the vinyl sides were up about 18" and the back doors were wide open. The evening temp was 34 degrees and everyone at our table eventually got their coats. This was a nice event and everyone was dressed to the nines for it. Hate to say it but if this event is there again, we will probably just mail in a donation and pass on the event.
