We cannot recommend Hachland Hill enough. We used Hachland's wedding package in April 2026, but we…read morewould happily host any event there in the future. From our very first email, Maddie stood out as the most personable, welcoming, and attentive venue coordinator we met during our search. Hachland Hill is a small, family-run business in all the best ways, with owners and staff who genuinely care about helping you create your dream day. The natural beauty of the venue allowed us to keep decorations to a minimum, which helped keep our budget manageable. Our guests loved the uniqueness of the property, and the valley setting even protected us from the stronger winds and rain that passed through on our wedding day. The staff thoughtfully brought out heaters at the last minute without us even needing to ask. And the food--you have to experience it. Carter is incredibly talented and intentional in everything he does. Months later, our guests are still talking about how amazing the brisket was. We also had our closest family and friends stay on-site, which added so much excitement and connection to the wedding weekend. It gave our guests a chance to experience a different side of Nashville while creating unforgettable memories together. This venue truly checks every box. Every time we drove onto the property, I felt an overwhelming sense of comfort and peace. If you have questions and would like to hear more about our experience, Maddie can provide our contact information. We're already looking forward to future date nights back at Hachland Hill! The wine was okay, definitely on the sweet side, but if you like sweeter wines this is a great spot. Everyone working there was very friendly.

Her energy and excitement throughout the entire tour made me excited and I could truly picture myself getting married there. Six months before wedding: The planning meeting. My fiancé and I met with our assigned wedding coordinators. This was a seamless experience. We felt heard and they knew exactly when to jump in and support us with decision making. This two hour meeting felt like five minutes because we were having such an enjoyable time planning the most important day of our lives. We left the meeting feeling extremely excited and ready to go. They also assured us they were able to make changes, talk through any worries or add to our original plan. We could email or call any time! After this meeting I was able to communicate any small changes, detail questions, or concerns via email. They were quick to respond and instantly made changes to our planning sheet as requested. This entire process was seamless and I was never left hanging. Two weeks before the wedding: I sent an email that was left unanswered for several days. I finally received a response from the owners, not the coordinators who I had been communicating with since day one. Then the owners began asking me questions that had been gone over in detail in our planning meeting. Instant red flags started popping up. I sent another email asking why I was no longer communicating with my coordinator. I received the response: "when you sign with Drakewood you sign with our team as a whole." This is completely reasonable, but not a single person introduced themselves or offered any sort of explanation as to why I was all of the sudden moved from one person to the owner. The owner, assured me that I would be working with her most experienced coordinator and that she herself would be supporting us the day of our wedding. Frankly I wish the owner had not been there. Day of: The owner did not once welcome me to the venue or introduce herself. The groomsmen, father of the groom and the groom were unloading cars due to no staff there to help. They stacked bar stock in the venue. They were even asked to move the bigger boxes behind the bar once they were already placed inside, to which my husband responded "you can have your staff move them to the correct location. We are here to celebrate our wedding not work for you." The owner had no clue what was going on and was walking around asking questions that had been gone over when I was working with my original coordinators. This was extremely unprofessional and very upsetting. During the rehearsal, the owner told everyone how they would walk in when we had already explained how we had planned to do it. She said we don't usually do it this way and was met with my mother and sister telling her this is how the bride wants it done. Finally an experienced coordinator showed up who actually had her act together. I am absolutely positive if she had not shown up, our day would have been a disaster and a complete disappointment. This coordinator was professional, dressed appropriately for a wedding (unlike the owner who walked around in a bright pink T-shirt for the entire day) and made sure to check in and keep me in the loop from start to finish. They were completely understaffed and it was evident. I am grateful for my new coordinator and all of her help. She truly pulled the entire day together and turned it around. I would hope that in the future, the owner would make sure to communicate with the bride and the families when big changes happen. The entire staff that I worked with leading up to the day was no longer there and I was left in the dark until I started asking questions. This is not how any bride should feel especially when you are spending a LARGE amount of money. In the end we had a beautiful day surrounded by everyone we love! Shout out to our photographer Alyssa Flake who made sure to keep the energy high and was just an absolute dream to work with! Some key moments that I will give Drakewood major kudos for: -Our new coordinator actually did have her act together and I'm glad she was able to step in and make my day come together -The florals were out of this world beautiful! (Although they forgot to give the men boutonnieres so most of our photos have no florals for the men) -The table settings looked incredible (we picked them out but they were executed properly) -The DJ was great and communicated with us in a very timely manner -Food was great, cake was awesome -The setting is stunning and everyone could not stop talking about how beautiful it was

When I entered my room, I was greeted by the smell, the pleasant smell of old wood. The location was very convenient, being close both MTSU and downtown. The snacks were convenient when my son got hungry. One night, I ordered delivery to avoid going out in a threatened thunderstorm. The kitchen and dining room were very useful. Overall, there was lots of character. I suppose you could consider the broken, very out of tune piano to be a part. (The middle F key is impeded from striking strings. When you and your son are big music fans, you notice such things.)

She was communicative at all the right times to smooth out the details ahead of time to make sure our wedding was perfect and everything we wanted was taken care of. I couldn't recommend them more for a wedding or reception venue!

Our daughter lives in Middle TN and we live in Knoxville so planning the wedding we thought would be tricky. Thanks to Amber and the staff at Fiddle Dee Farm it was seamless. Amber was so helpful on our planning visits and being able to use Lauren as our photographer worked out wonderfully. The morning of the wedding we arrived at 10am and the venue was all set up just as my daughter wanted!! Amber even went out and cut some wild flowers to add an extra touch. The day was wonderful we did not have to worry about a thing just enjoy the day. The ceremony and reception were perfect!! Amber worked so hard behind the scenes making sure everything was perfect. Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the venue was and what a great time they were having. At the end of a great day, our daughter who is a type one diabetic, had a very low blood sugar. Amber jumped right into action got her a Sprite and a sandwich and packed up some food for the bus and placed in the hands of a family member. I can't say enough about this venue!!! For sure a gem in Greenbriar TN! Thank you Amber and Fiddle Dee for making my daughter's wedding day spectacular!!!
