It's not in perfect condition by any means, but it was definitely playable, and a lot of fun. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The course has some difficult par 5's, a few easier par 3's, it was a nice mix. They have a few areas they are fixing, and a few areas shut down on the cart path, but overall worth the price. I would like to see nicer greens, with less sand, but if I wanted perfection I'd just spend $140 and go play at Gaylord. I'll definitely be back. The only thing I didn't like was how close t times are together. It seemed like we had a traffic jam most of the morning, which with me being newer to golf made me nervous for my shot knowing people were waiting on me to hurry up. I don't really mind waiting on others, I just hated making people wait. I let one group play through, and by the time they finished I had another group right behind me again.

The course does have some trouble holding water on a few holes on the back 9, but when you're able to play all 18 holes it's always a great time. The 18th hole can also be a little tricky trying to find your ball with the driving range nearby. Overall, the staff are great and the layout makes for a really enjoyable round. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone, especially newer golfers.

There's a range and a great putting green. The clubhouse is full of drinks and snacks but I didn't see a grill. Everyone is really nice and the check in process is easy and rounds are within the $30-40 range usually. The course is well maintained. Greens, fairways, and tee boxes are all in great condition. There is beautiful scenery and wildlife. Also, Kenny Perry himself sometimes shows up and plays. We had the privilege of practicing next to him at the range and then we were behind him for our round. All around amazing course, definitely recommend.

Giving 2 stars for what this course could be. Beautiful design and rolling hills, stunning views,…read moreand a great atmosphere. However, this is the worst maintained course I have EVER played at. Not one green was in good condition, the tee boxes were hard as concrete, and the fairways were nothing but weeds and rocks. $80 for a round is absurd for the condition. Save your money and go literally anywhere else until they put those premium prices into the condition of the course.

Some of the good things are that in the pro shop they have the map of the holes booklet for free. Most importantly, the greens are rolling pure, and not gradient slow like the Riverside and country Hills Bermuda grass courses. The rough is also not bad either since they're not using Bermuda grass. Some of the things that I didn't like are as follows: They have a grass driving range, so shouldn't you have a couple of club cleaners for the patrons? They don't... Next, why not use three different color flags to indicate front middle or back pin placement? You can even add a small flag to your existing poles and have it on the bottom middle or top... After I finished my first nine holes, when I approached the 10th hole, there was a backlog of two groups that weren't in front of us before!! What the heck is this all about? I asked the people in front of me and they said this is what the starter told them to do. This really set me off as the first tee was wide open, so why didn't the starter put them where they belong? Not only that, now we are really backlogged, this does not make 1 ounce of sense to me. A few holes are blind notably 13, 14 and 17 just off the top of my head. If I didn't pair myself with a couple of guys that played there before, I might've been hitting God knows where. Anyway, hopefully they can adjust these suggestions.

The course looks great but no way this place should be charging $70+ to play these greens. Feel bad leaving a negative review because I can see the potential and why people love the course. No idea what has happened to the greens but I am not exaggerating when I say 50% of EVERY green has no grass. They are soft and unreadable, but they have disguised it by painting them green. It's fine if you want to keep the course open through the green rehab but put something on your website and discount the fees. Would love to play it on tip top shape but I don't see that happening soon, suggest you ask.
