The scenery here is beautiful and the staff have always been great, and the food is definitely a plus. Unfortunately, the course conditions haven't been the best lately. The greens have been in rough shape, and many of the fairways were a mix of grass and mud and holding quite a bit of water. Because of that, the price doesn't really match the current condition of the course. I really wish the upkeep was a little better because it has the potential to be a great place to play, and I'd definitely come back more often if the course conditions improved. read more

I always have told people that this course has potential and is one of the most unique layouts. Last two times I've played there have been groups larger than 4 people slowing down pace. Today is what took the cake. Course was in absolute horrendous shape. The people running the place have very bad attitudes, are abrasive, and down right rude. I would never trash a business/course unless it was truly abysmal as I wouldn't ever want to negatively effect an owners livelihood, but something has to change here. Unless they are giving you a nearly free round, I would stay away. The staff is insane. read more

Absolutely not worth $65. The fairways aye in good shape but the tee boxes are similar to hitting out of rough. The greens are borderline unplayable on most holes, covered in divots and dirt/sand splotches. The 13th and 15th holes are in surprisingly good shape compared to the rest I will say. Also, note about 75% of your tee shots are blind. Most importantly, there are NO water coolers on the course, in 96 degree weather in the middle of August. The course has potential, but needs lots of work and they seem reluctant to do so. read more

Great public golf course close to Nashville. Very scenic and lots of elevation throughout the course. Can be busy at times but I've never been when it's been "overcrowded" and waiting on every shot. Enjoy your round and grab a beer or two and a brat at the turn for a good price. read more

The course is in a beautiful setting, and that used to make up for all of the negatives, but after playing here a couple of weeks ago, it's gotten too terrible and we won't be going back: - The greens are in terrible shape, more sand on those than in the bunkers, been that way for best part of a year. - fairways are overgrown, we lost balls that landed in the middle of the fairway, because the weeds etc were so high they just disappeared. - bunkers have no sand in them whatsoever - tee boxes in terrible shape - golf carts barely have the power to get up some of the hills, ripped seats on all of them some/most have missing wind shields. This course has the potential to be great, but it looks like they fired their grounds team a year ago and have just left it be, if they could at least mow their fairways once a week that would be helpful?! read more

I'm not even sure where to start. I usually don't go off of reviews when finding places to play golf. However the original course I booked had to cancel due to being to wet. So me and my wife decided to give this place a try. This course is terrible. Half the tee boxes don't have markers. The layout isn't great. The kids in the club house don't care about anything. The carts are garbage. The groups of 8 are irritating and whoever's in charge doesn't care about it. 5.5 hours to play a round of golf is insane. Will not be back and do not recommend. $60 dollars is $50 to much. read more

This is where Bubba and his friends play. The starter shack is literally a shack. There's no order or process to start the round, the fairways was in awful were in awful shape and some greens were unputtable. Don't waste even one moment more thinking about playing here. read more

Overcharged us from golf now, greens suck and charged us $14 dollar per 3 pack of balls. We borrowed clubs and the clubs were from the 80s and missing clubs and some were lefties lol. Overall bad experience. Too pretty of an area to let this course go to crap. Get some management and get a real POS system read more

Played 8/12/23. Course is scenic but in poor shape. Carts were in bad shape windshields missing on many, seats torn. Our cart's brakes were questionable for the steep grades. Our group got caught in a major rain thunder storm after 5 holes. We were able to get under a shelter at the boarded up restrooms. The course became unplayable. When we finally got back to the pro shop we were told no rain checks woul be given unless the manager (Not Present) changed his mind. Called back later and was told they had decided to give rain checks for 9 holes provided they were used within a week. Told them to forget it. Would recommend using your money at another course. read more

I recently played the Pebble Brook Golf Course and could not be more disappointed. Pros: The course is relatively cheap (compared to some of the municipal courses closer to Nashville) and is more likely to have open tee times on the weekends. The layout is fairly interesting with some interesting approach shots, particularly on the par 3's. Cons: The condition of the course is beyond awful. The fairways are long/overgrown, and the greens have more holes/divots/ball marks than most tee boxes. I also broke 10+ tees trying to put them into the grass on the tee box because it might as well have been cement. It is clear that they do not care what shape the course is in and put as little effort in as possible for maintenance. Driving the golf cart was a terrifying experience. All of the carts I saw were in really rough shape and had cracks to the windshields / foam missing from the seats. Also the brakes seemed like they've never been maintained which made for some really dicey twists and turns on the long drives between holes. I would strongly encourage even the most casual of golfers choose a different course in the Nashville area when looking to play a round of golf. read more

I like this golf course !! Nice folks . It's very large lots of room to move around without the worry of a stray ball hitting you.. The greens are taken care of. The basic food , burgers, dogs and homemade sandwich spread are quite exceptional with beer and sodas too. read more

Cute course! There's a range too! The yardage is very short from the women's tees which for me is a welcomed thing. The course has a beautiful "Brooke" going it with great elevation changes. They don't pair twosomes up though so it tends to play a little slow. read more

I chose pebble Brook because I could get a tee time and I was hoping that it would be a great value for the money. Sadly enough, the golf course is not in great shape, but it is in an absolutely beautiful setting. Let me just share a few things you should know before you golf this place. One,The bunkers have weeds and trees growing out of them. Two, the greens are not cut short so they put very slow. There are a lot of holes that are very tricked up. By and large if they invested a little money in this golf course it would be wonderful. As it is, right now it's a bit of a wreck. I would not come back. read more

This course could be the talk of the town if only it was taken care of! There has been a lack of care and up keep on this course for the last three years. Empty promises by the management team has left many who live in this area down. Tee boxes are not even cut for weeks! The owners seem not to care what happens here either. Carts are 5 years past the need to replace them and you will find at least one broken down on the course for days at a time. What a big let down. read more

I really like this course. It's well maintained, never busy and the greens are smooth and putt true. The rough is thick and makes it a bit challenging if you're not hitting fairways. There are a few holes in which it helps to have played the course before (blind shots etc...), but it adds to the fun. It's set up in the hills and the scenery is gorgeous. There are not a whole lot of flat holes, you're shooting uphill or from elevated tee boxes on pretty much every hole. I try to play this course every time I'm in Tennessee visiting my wife's family. I could not tell you how much fun we've had playing here over the years. read more

My wife and I played a very fun round here today . The course although very difficult to find using the directions we obtained online proved to be a very scenic and challenging course. A few of holes were extremely scenic and quite exciting to play . The other day I had a 8:30 tee time for single player. I arrived at 8 to see if I could get out a little early. With 3 cars in the parking lot I thought it wouldn't be an issue but I was told but the young blonde and older lady with glasses, I had to stick to my tee time. I was then also told I was going to be forced to share a cart with another stranger even in the middle on the Covid Pandemic!! I explained that I had a pregnant fiancé at home and don't feel comfortable doing that and putting her in danger. I was again rejected and was told the only other way I could play earlier was to buy another tee time......which I did for the safety of my fiancé and future daughter but can't believe that's what I had to do just to stay safe. This course is not even a good enough course to turn people away. Absolutely will not be returning and if you are still practicing social distancing, DO NOT COME HERE!!! read more

Overall the lay out was very challenging. The fairways and tee boxes were in very good shape. However, the greens were burnt. They were all brown and very embarrassing. Before you go to this course call them and ask if their greens are up to par. read more

This course was probably one of the biggest let downs I've seen. At a $50 green fee I would expect well taken care of greens at minimum but that wasn't even delivered. Almost every green we played at was absolute garbage and I think the couple that were in good shape were taken care of by the people that owned the homes next to the hole. This course could be a premiere course in Robertson County if someone would put the time, money and effort into it because of the beautiful scenery and elevation changes. Hate to see a course with that kind of potential thrown away like that. read more
