We got married here in April of 2024 and this place is just gorgeous. From the wedding chapel itself and the views it offers to the reception hall and the beautiful rustic barn you will not be disappointed if you choose this venue. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. Mrs Jackie is as good as they simply come. Their vendors are top of the line so if you don't like contracting out your own wedding plan, go for the full package and allow the venue to handle it all. 12/10 recommend this beautiful diamond in the rough of a venue. My daughter and son-in-law loved Barn in the Bend! The location is close to Nashville and offers a beautiful view of the Nashville skyline. Great central location to Nashville and surrounding suburbs. A hidden gem that offers a peaceful, natural setting for beautiful pictures. We loved the old church pews and arbor for the ceremony. The bride and groom rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The catering kitchen has 2 refrigerators for flowers and food. The reception area in the Barn is filled with gorgeous antiques, drapery and chandeliers that give it just the right southern charm. A well equipped photo booth helps your guests create some fun memories. The venue offers a room full of "props" for your use. My daughter fell in love with the venue immediately because of the setting. I fell in love with it because Jackie (the owner) offers several "all inclusive" packages that make budgeting a breeze. This was our 2nd daughter to marry. Our first wedding (first daughter) had quite a few unplanned, surprise expenses so I jumped at the package deal when Jackie mentioned it! The all inclusive is definitely the way to go if you want to stay on a budget yet flexible enough that your wedding is personalized to your liking. Jackie is a very responsive communicator and easy to work with. Corrine, our coordinator, was a pure joy and ensured everything ran smoothly. She was in constant communication and always nearby in case we had questions. We highly recommend Ally and her team at Missions BBQ for their delicious food and incredible customer service. Julie at CraziCakes created a scrumptious cake and worked closely with my daughter on flavors and design. I just can't say enough about our perfect day! Our wedding day was everything we imagined-the weather turned out to be great and the location and views at this venue were fantastic! We both went into the day knowing no matter what happened, we would be married and that was all that mattered. Now that the wedding is past us and we can look back on the whole process, I would never recommend this venue. It's so unfortunate because the venue itself is beyond beautiful and that's what I promised myself I would remember. The issues began the day we signed the contract. We were promised a copy of the contract after signing and never received one. Over 7 months of planning, I was told to reference the contract but that became difficult as I never had one to reference. Shortly after, I was scolded for making too small of a payment. There was never a minimum payment amount discussed until then. The amount of money paid for the venue seemed very reasonable until we began to find out that so many extras had to be added in. I found that I was reaching out almost daily for clarification and always made to feel dumb. When we met with the coordinator, I was asked many questions that I did not have the answer to because nothing we were asked was discussed. On the day of rehearsal, we were both asked more questions (never discussed before) that we did not have answers to and again made to feel dumb. On the day of set up, Jackie was incredibly disrespectful to my mom and sister as she snapped at them for asking reasonable questions. The day of coordinator that is included in the venue package isn't there for the day. She's there when the ceremony starts and through the reception. And Jackie told me that hiring a day of coordinator was a waste of money because they offered a coordinator that knows the venue and serves the same purpose....but that was not the case. Sadly, I've even had to hear from our guests that when they had asked Jackie questions such as, "Can we turn the fans on?" She barked back and made them feel dumb for asking. You are responsible for breaking everything down after the reception and I owe my incredible people for their help-however, some of the venue's decorations ended up packed with ours. We were quickly made aware of this and we returned them. This process was not so simple, as the days went on, the list of items continued to grow and we were made to feel like we were trying to steal from the venue. We also had to reach out to Jackie a week after for our deposit to be returned to us. If you got through all of that, you are doing your research! It saddens my heart to not be able to write an honest "you have to book this venue" review because I really wanted to. Unfortunately, I can't honestly write that review about this venue and I wish somebody would have told me these things before we signed our contract. This is no way to run a business or treat people. Bottom line, we were greatly disappointed. read more

Barn in the Bend in Madison Tn is a great addition to middle Tennessee for any type of event you may be hosting. The settings and surroundings are just magical and such a true sense of this beautiful part of the country. Mostly hosting weddings but I have attended events,craft shows and even our Hoe Down Office awards banquet. read more
