My husband works at the Mavis Discount Tire shop in New Milford, and the day we got married we arrived home very late because of our wedding celebration. Unfortunately, he had to leave me alone the next morning because he was told he had to open the store. I understand work responsibilities are important, but this was the first day of our marriage, which should have been our honeymoon time together. I believe there were other employees who could have opened the store or switched shifts. It was a very important and special moment in our lives, and it was very painful for me as a new wife to spend that moment alone. I respect the company and the job, but I hope you can also understand how difficult this situation was for us. I simply wanted to share how this affected me personally. Told Matt I was serious on purchase and once he got in another stock of one I had my eye on he reached out promptly and we got it. Filled the tank and went over the bike with my dad and I.
