Omg I stumbled upon this place and I'm so glad I did. One of the best gelatos in town. They make it right in front of you and they have authentic flavors like hazelnut and amaretto, just to name a couple. Cute little spot, vibrant colors, and it's great for small or large groups. Service is you order up front. The owner is super nice and respectful. Highly recommended! Till then, let's eat!

Nice spot to get street tacos, elotes and burritos. Kinda hidden the back so not easy to find with GPS. Customer service was good but cashier didn't tell me about rewards program which bummed me out. Prices are slightly above average but normal for street tacos. They offer appetizers for single or to share which is only a couple of bucks higher. They offer basic elotes and fire cheats elotes. Enjoy! Nice for family and friends or eating solo. Had outdoor seating as well.

I think is he the owner!

If you're looking for a unique and delicious dessert experience, OMGelato is the spot! Their hydrogen-made ice cream is not only a treat for the taste buds but also an exciting process to watch. The ice cream is perfectly creamy and customizable to your taste--not too sweet, just right. The friendly service makes every visit a delight. My family and I go here at least twice a week, and it's always a hit. It's wonderful to support a local family business that truly cares about its customers. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend checking them out! The pricing is perfect! And no I'm not getting paid for this review.

What is this packaging? (Amaretto & Butterscotch)

Apparently I'm craving ice cream. I've had it 4 times on my Dallas trip. This was by far the worst place I've tried, sadly. The actual gelato was decent (I tried the Amaretto & Butterscotch), but the way they packed it was ridiculous. Look at the photo, that can't be right! It was spilled everywhere and had no lid. For that reason, I wouldn't order from here again.

    Rocher and Melagrana

At OMGelato, they craft gelato by using liquid nitrogen fresh to order. Their products are fully customizable and they offer over 50 flavors, add-ins, and toppings. They also have dairy and fat free options available. If you don't want to create your own or have a hard time figuring out what you want, they have a suggestion menu that you can choose from. I tried the Rocher and the Melagrana - two items on their suggestion menu. The Rocher has a milk base and it had the right amount of sweetness, my favorite from the two I tried. The Melagrana has a sorbet base consisting of pomegranate and lemon and it's perfect for someone who enjoys a sour taste. The blueberry topping is semi frozen, so there's a nice crunch to it.

I really enjoyed my visit here. The place is actually a lot bigger than it looks form the outside. It's open, has a good amount of seating, and even games you can play while enjoying your gelato dessert. The staff was nice and make good recommendations on what to order since it was our first visit. I ended up getting cheesecake gelato, which tasted so yummy. Their portions are awesome too... in my opinion a small serving could be shared by two people. I'll definitely be back to visit and looking forward to trying other flavors.

I'm obsessed with this hidden gem! Creating your own unique gelato flavor from liquid nitrogen might sound like a cool but hard-to-create concept, but it's not here at OMGelato! They craft your gelato using liquid nitrogen and make each order fresh. There are thousands of flavors available if you want to customize your own, or you can get the suggested flavors. There are milk-based, fruit-based, or vegan options, along with 50+ different toppings, mix-ins, add-ons, etc. I highly recommend you check out their website (https://omgelato.net/our-menu/) to see the different flavors available because you might be standing in line for a while. Seeing liquid nitrogen smoke away inside a KitchenAid and magically turned into creamy gelato is quite mesmerizing, even for adults. The process takes 5 mins max. We've been there multiple times since they first opened and never experience a full house, but they do offer plenty of seating in case you have a big group. The prices are fair because the portion is huge. I get a small cup and that's plenty to share with my boyfriend. We like the lemon biscotti, but sometimes he'll get a chocolate flavor as well. The flavors are spot on-- they're not too sweet and it's the perfect smooth & creamy texture. My boyfriend's brother liked the dark chocolate flavor he created and he usually doesn't like sweets that much. Service is always good and fast every time. If you're looking for a dessert place that will make every family member happy, definitely try OMGelato!

Really cute little local spot for gelato! Huge menu and customizable. Would recommend for a late night treat!

This is so fun and delicious! They custom make gelato right in front of your eyes. Everything was delicious. The menu of options is expansive (almost overwhelming), we opted for suggested flavors but when we come back, I think we would be more comfortable making our own. Have your camera ready and your stomach empty. Ha. A small was more than enough, the cup was overflowing.

Best gelato in town! High quality made with care and attention to detail. Great service as well.

This is a SUPER FUN place to visit. Great for taking kids to for a "wowza" experience, going on a date-night something special or just where to go if you are a foodie who always wanted to super-customize gelato. There's a lot of decision making to do up-front. I highly recommend reading the menu online first or standing so you're not blocking anyone while you debate the options. Pick a base. Pick a mix in. Pick whether or not you want a flavor shot to amp it up. Pick a topping. Then watch the magic! Not going to lie - seeing liquid nitrogen smoke away as they make your gelato. The process doesn't take long and the space is perfect for sitting and hanging out while you wait or while you eat. Pricing is on the higher side, but it's because of what you're getting with customization.

Located among the shops and bars of historic downtown sits 1418 Coffee, a cute and genuinely great little shop that fits the area perfectly. Inside, the shop is fairly narrow but offers a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. I arrived with a friend a little before 11 am on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. A biking group was posted up outside, students were inside working on homework, even though most colleges have not started yet, and plenty of other patrons were taking their Sunday mornings easy. Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. They consistently do a great job and fit right into the charm of downtown Plano. RIYL: A warm haven in a beautiful downtown.

Coffee tasted very nice, but I wish I'd had a plain coffee option as far as beans go. My three choices were a citric/acid, a double the caffeine hazelnut or decaf. I would have appreciated a simple smooth robust bean option. All that aside, the coffee was well prepared, staff were great and I didn't end up with a massive caffeine high - despite ordering the double the caffeine bean. You order from a giant touchscreen rather than from a barista, which felt like a lot of work. Doable, but part of my coffee experience usually involves asking questions and getting advice from the person who knows the roasts and the drinks best - the barista.

Bf commented that both drinks were on the sweet side for him but I still thought his was bitter, as someone who doesn't like coffee. Overall, a really cute place!
