This is not my first time here so I have no idea why I haven't write a review. There are professionals working behind the counter. The inside of the store is very clean. You can see the pictures. It's very easy that their workers are always know what is where. I have been in this store couple times and I haven't had a hard time looking for something because workouts are more than helpful. This store really cares about their customers because there is a soda machine, pop corn and some other stuff that you can grab to go. I was working with Shawn to get my 4x10 45 degree hangers. Fanny has helped me with thousands of kitchens and bathrooms over the 10+ years that our company has done business with them. A phone call is all it takes to go over the infrequent issues that may arise. I would have to say after the several thousand transactions I have done, the eight or nine times I've had to call because of an error has been handled quickly and satisfactorily. And that's to say nothing of the 20 cases I've had to call because of an error on my part that Fanny has handled these gracefully and quickly as well. We have used pretty much all of their products and would recommend everything they have to offer. I had arental that I had put kitchen cabinets in and after 10 years, I was surprised to find that I only needed to clean the cabinets not to completely replace or rebuild them! The cabinets are 100% wood with no particleboard! They hold up well and are very moderately priced for what you get. And as I say after thousands of transactions, I would buy them every day of the week.

I shopped around and found Anderson to be a pro lumber yard and not a place crowded with DIYs. The counter was never busy at all when I was there but that may be a sign of the ambient economy. My first order was a framing package for rebuilding an old porch. I ordered a lot of resawn Douglas Fir beams and rafter material and it was some of the best material I have ever seen. Framing lumber was all free of heart compared to HD that has the heart in every twisty stick. This is the best place in Sacramento for lumber. The yard I went to was on Roseville Road.

There is a rental counter in the left of the store when you first walk in which never has a line. Cashiers were efficient and lines moved quickly. Yellow price tags indicate clearance aka discontinued items. There is also a drive through lumber yard but I can't speak on that as I haven't done that yet.

My husband was there so I sent him a pic and asked them to replace the board and they said we had to Bering it back. Now mind you, I didn't complain about all the cracked boards or the chewed up wood rail because I could flip it and it wouldn't be too noticeable, but the fence board was just garbage and even though I sent the picture they refused to replace it. I had found it after my husband had left so he would have to drive all the way back home and all the way back out there and then home again. The board was $5.50 so nothing to break the bank but their customer service was bad AND they sold me a piece of crap. Soooo disappointing. What a wonderful business. From the first time Sergio came to my house it was instant good vibes…read more This is an honest dude who knows his craft well. The process of choosing a door, getting and agreeing to a quote, making a down payment and then Sergio's ordering and acquisition of the door, customization (we have a nonstandard front entry), sending to the painter (optional; we chose to) and scheduling the installation was absolutely pleasant, easy and timely via mostly text messages with the occasional phone call. Sergio was PERFECTLY communicative the whole time; there was one day where I said to my wife, "I wonder if Sergio's gotten the door yet," and later that day he texted me, "Got your door today!" Day of the installation comes and it's not Sergio that shows up initially, it's a couple of younger guys (Adam and Gabriel) who can't be too too far out of high school. They tell me Sergio's on his way and they are going to get started, and they do. These young men were also very obviously good at what they do and were so very cool and respectful both of me and my property. They got busy, I work from home, at some point Sergio showed up, and they worked throughout the day. They: - Removed my old security door - Removed my old front door - Removed the exterior and interior trim - Removed the existing custom, metal frame - Built a new frame on my lawn - Installed the new frame - Installed new exterior and interior trim (I supplied interior trim materials which I had on hand) - Installed my new front door - Installed my new security door - Cleaned up after themselves I COULD NOT BE happier with the service I received from Any Kind of Doors. The best part? Throughout the day, I got to observe a master craftsman teaching his journeymen. Over and over Sergio had Adam or Gabriel do the work, and competently coached them while observing closely. The work is immaculate and I got to watch this dude get it done and simultaneously pass on his knowledge in a family business. And my house. Looks. AWESOME. I'm seldom compelled to write a review, but when you gotta, you gotta.
