Heritage donuts is just your overpriced donut store. First, the lay the donuts on each other, when you take them out of the box, a quarter of the bottom donut loses its frosting. Huge loss in my opinion. They need to find better packaging for 1/2 dozen donuts at least. Second, they definitely charge a premium for a donut. Big plus, it's warm and fresh.. I'm not a huge yeast donut fan, but being warm is a plus. read more

These donuts are so delicate and fluffy it's amazing. Maybe the best consistency I've had with any donut I've tried (and I've had a lot LOL!). Very unique options. Traditional options as well. My favorite so far has been the vanilla iced with mini m&ms or the crumb cake donut. But every one that I've tried has been wonderful. So happy to have a local donut shop here! read more

The service is ok but the Hispanic woman is snarky and unhelpful. The place and donuts are designed for little kids. Yum!! I go here at least once a week. My waistline will tell you so! I love love love these donuts. They are huge, not dense but airy, pillowy donuts. Sweet but the glaze has a hint of vanilla, versus the sugar flavor glaze other donuts give you. I doesn't matter if the "hot" sign is on or not-just the open sign. This place is great. Crowded during peak hours- early mornings on Saturday and during the week. The glaze are great! The vanilla icing donut is good. The cinnamon roll is outstanding. The braided dough one is awesome too. If you're just curious try the plain ole glaze. The cost is a little pricier than the other places but the taste makes up for it. read more

Monster donuts that are way way way above anything you'd get at Dunkin', Krispy Kreme (gasp), or Duck Donuts (double gasp). For having to come out to Wake Forest for an event this makes that drive so worth it. Amazing small business that really delivers a quality donut.
