I hired this company to move my furniture in August (2017) from the southwest side of Fort Wayne to an apartment on the second/third floor of a house downtown. They got my furniture in their truck speedily but when we arrived at my new apartment they began moving things up before scoping out the logistics. When bringing my sofa up the stairs, they scraped up the wall and broke the decorative detail on an arch in the entryway. This is a Victorian house. They also got my sofa halfway up the stairs in my apartment before realizing it would not fit. They spent an hour and a half arguing (2 guys) about how to get it up there, then when it was stuck halfway up the stairs, they told me it was impossible - but then couldn't get the couch back DOWN the stairs. It took maneuvering, but they managed it - while ripping the couch and putting two holes in my drywall in the process. The manager did come back to plaster the wall, but didn't do a good job, and only paid me $20 in damages for the couch and the wall. I would not recommend using this shoddy moving service. read more

I am very glad that they lied about the state of my house & left me high and dry. After reading reviews I completely dodged a bullet. My move was completed without any broken, missing or damaged items. Not a BBB accredited business. Will NEVER recommend. The movers that showed up were smoking right before entering my home. Now I have to get my $$ back from my Groupon and NO one should use them. Groupon or not. read more

Awful experience. Had 3 movers come to our house to move us across town and it took them 5 hours to complete the job. Had multiple damages to our wall in our brand new home that was built. To top it all off, we had one of the movers steal our credit card and spend $2500 in a two day span. Company was only willing to reimburse one hour ($154) after all of that. Drivers were very friendly however, didn't wrap our brand new, unused, leather dining chairs and every single one was scuffed. After submitting a Support Ticket on 9/30, I have been calling Mark every other day for almost 3 weeks who keeps telling us "JR" is going to call us back and NOBODY has ever returned our call and he refuses to give me any other phone number to contact someone else. Mark even hung up on me during one of my calls!! Completely unprofessional. Do not use them unless you want to press your luck of something getting damaged and nobody ever doing anything about it! read more

I had purchased a Groupon deal and used with a move across town. My team had arrived on time, I had all boxes marked and furniture was broken down and unassembled and ready. My movers were great, fast and courteous and had me all moved in my 3 hour time block. I had one item that was broken, but feel as though that was my fault from not wrapping item well enough. Excellent job by the team from the quoting with Phil through the last box being loaded up! The team, Nick, Alan, Donte, Michael, Chris and Phil, were very friendly, respectful of our home and things, and super productive! There was also no damage to anything. It was a long day with many trips up and down stairs but there was never a complaint or slowdown. The job turned out to be a little bigger than expected so they brought another truck and 2 more guys to help get it all done. Pricing was also very good for all the work they completed. Thank you! I hope I never have to move again. If I do, I would never use here to there movers. If you like any of your furniture, do not use here to there movers because it will get damaged. I was charged for packing material and a majority of our furniture was not wrapped and is scratched or broken. Items were also left in the driveway and outside at our new house. Items were also thrown in our landscaping. I was so sad to walk outside the next morning and find items all over. We are still finding items in our landscaping. It is very difficult to get a hold of anyone or to have anyone call you back. I have called multiple times and Mike and Jeff will not call me back. This company is very unprofessional and does not care about customer satisfaction. read more

Overall a great experience. The positives first: Our movers Dallas and Amerus were friendly, fast, efficient, and professional. They helped make a stressful task far less stressful and were incredibly kind and helpful. There was also an accident in my billing that I was unaware of. I was surprised to open my mail this morning to money from Here To There covering the mistake. Not only are the movers fantastic, the manager Travis is honest which I can really appreciate in today's world. Here To There in Fort Wayne has great staff working for them! Negatives: The only negative which is more than likely not at the fault of the Fort Wayne store, is that the Groupon I had purchased was misleading. It stated a one hour minimum however there was a 2 hour minimum and it did cost more than I was expecting. With that being said we did need 2 hours and it was still a great deal so I'm still happy with the experience and would definitely use them again! read more

I've used this company more than once. I usually have a good experience. This time the movers didn't show up. I waited a few hours and nothing (the original crew didn't want to work). I called and they sent out two guys instead of the three requested. They did a great job and were fast, but a couple things were broken. Here to there movers will give you the run around and drag it out in attempts not to pay. I wasnt getting anywhere with employees and requested the manager he said I'd get paid, but still nothing. Still waiting on my call from the owner over 6 months later. Poor customer service. You may have to get an attorney or maybe all of us with bad service and claims could get an attorney together! read more

This is the second and last time I'll use your services. One of your movers, "Mike" has a horrible attitude and very poor people skills. He's a mover that complained and said what he wasn't going to do. Very unprofessional individual that if he doesn't like his job, should do something else. My day was already stressful enough, but then to deal with his negative energy was more than I needed. The two gentleman with him were very helpful and polite. I would like a discount! If I ever decide to use you guys again, and you'll probably be a last resort, DO NOT send Mike! I went with this moving company because they had a great groupon deal. I regret this decision and have had nothing but hell with this company. First, they decided to cancel my scheduled move the DAY BEFORE, because they were suddenly short-staffed. What kind of moving company cancels a scheduled moving date that was set in place for months? The second complaint is that when moving into the townhouse, they damaged the wooden door frame. I was told to file a complaint so that it would be fixed. They have done nothing but avoid emails and phone calls. They will continuously say to call this person or that person, and yet still nothing is resolved or no one knows a thing. Trust me, pay more money with a reputable moving company like 2 Men and a Truck. read more

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The movers broke our couch over 3 months ago. I have since called them over a dozen times, emailed multiple people, spoken to multiple people, had my husband call. I started the claims process three days after we moved. They have not once reached out to me about it. The manager Jennifer even hung up on me. They did finally come out and 'inspect' the couch in which they said they would let me know if they could fix, or replace, and then they never did. So I called and called again. Then they said they would send me $90. $90?!? That was over a month ago, by the way, for over a $1000 couch and a $1300 move. And still no check. The movers put 6 holes in the back of my leather couch and ripped the seam of the couch as well. Its be over 5 weeks of following up weekly and getting the run around. I l finally get an answer today and they feel $100.00 is enough to fix my $2,000 couch! Which is not the case. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN! They work their movers to death and schedule way to many moves in one day for these guys! They had moved 3 houses prior to getting to my house at 6pm at night when they were suppose to be there at 2pm. The movers were so tired my husband and i had to move half of our own stuff in our vehicles. This moving company has little to no regard for people's furniture time or money. The movers scratched almost every piece of my furniture the walls in both places and lost legs to both my sectional and dining table. I submitted a claim in Dec 2018 per their request, it is now mid Feb 2019. I have gone back and forth with this company for weeks about my furniture they told me on different occasions that they would look into ordering and replacing my items even as recently as a week and a half ago. I always had to call them I never received any answers before today. Today I called to check on the status of my ticket they told me that a waiver I signed after directly after the move was done that excused them from damaging my items. At the point of me signing it would have been impossible to assess any damage also other than my signature on the form, it was incomplete. For all I know this document could be forged. I don't like that this company lied repeatedly about how they would handle the situation, just to rudely dismiss my claim with misspelled words. read more

They packed the truck nicely and I didn't worry at all that my things weren't being treated respectfully or might become damaged by their packing or en route to the storage unit.
