Working with The Robert Half Creative Group gave me the opportunity to land my DREAM JOB at…read moreStarbucks Coffee Company. As I read through some of the other reviews, most were positive but some expressed sour grapes. I think there are some misaligned expectations as to what a staffing agency is. A staffing agency makes their money by supplying companies with workers either on a temporary are permanent basis. Unless you are paying a staffing agency a fee to find you employment, then the staffing agency's fiduciary responsibility is to the company that is paying them. You need to understand and accept this if you are going to work with a staffing agency. Here's how you benefit from the relationship... Staffing agencies can give you the opportunity/connection to network, learn, and build your resume with world-class business organizations that are extremely challenging to get your foot in the door. Once in though, it's up to YOU to prove yourself and work toward finding your dream job. You can't walk in and expect your dream job to be handed to you. Competition for good jobs in good markets is tough. You have to come at it by assessing the situation for fit, figuring out where YOU can add value in ways that align with your career objectives, get along with ALL the players (putting your ego in check), make a plan, STAY POSITIVE, and execute on it. Oh and by the way, all that work might NOT lead to a permanent job. Don't expect that, if you do you will fail at staying positive. However, know that all the work you are doing is being added to your resume. The way you are handling the situation is being noted by all those you are working with. They will remember you, refer you, and be a reference for you. If played right, over time you will land your dream job. TCG's role was they gave me the connection to make it happen, and supported me with training and advice on handling situations as they arose. That's it, that's all any staffing agency can realistically do for you. Here at the end of my experience with TCG, I can say they've actually EXCEEDED my expectations for a staffing agency. TCG offered me much more career building benefits than other staffing agencies. Benefits such as continued industry training, portfolio showings, attendance to top business industry conferences, team building and network events. This is the stuff that helps you develop your career path. Lastly, they've made my transition to full employment with Starbucks very, very easy. If you are looking to get networking opportunities or work experience added to your resume from renowned organizations and companies, TCG has the connections to make it happen.

I had spent months working with…read moreagencies and recruiters there (including Creative Circle's DC office) with no real luck. I read reviews about Creative Circle's Seattle office and was very optimistic. Within a week and a half of working with Kristi Seifert, I had landed an interview and a contract position with a small consulting/think tank firm in downtown Seattle. Five months later, that contract position turned into a full-time position. Ten months since I started, I was promoted to senior consultant. I couldn't be happier with the team I am working with, doing the design work I've always wanted to do, for a wonderful organization. I can't thank Kristi and her team enough for their help - especially over those initial five months. We did check-ins, she answered all my questions with patience and guidance; and I have never had a better experience with a staffing organization. I don't know how they managed to find such a good fit for me. I am so impressed and thrilled. Things seemed to fall in place at the right time. Thank you, Kristi, for all your amazing work. You and your team are doing life-changing work. Side note: I participated in a volunteer design program with AIGA over the summer and Creative Circle was one of the sponsors! More kudos are in order.

Creative Circle is easily the best recruitment agency I've ever worked with!…read more I have been with them for over 10 years in different cities, and refer anyone I meet that's looking for work, to contact them. Opportunities range from short term assignments, long-term contracts, and contract-to-hire. Their agents are thoughtful, dedicated, and will help insure your resume & portfolio display your best attributes. They regularly contact you during work search and after placement to make sure your needs are met. Issues are handled within the day if not within the hour - To that point, they scrambled to help me organize with jobs I was on when they found I was effected by a natural disaster! A grateful thank you to both Kristi Seifert (WA) and Katie Berkson (PA). I highly recommend Creative Circle to anyone looking for new opportunities!

The employees I've encountered are friendly and last year I got a position through them that ended up lasting from November to the end of March. It seems the assignments they get vary from something that lasts several days to ones that last months. A couple of nice benefits are the option to do direct deposit and ability to fax in your time card. In the several months that I worked through them, my paycheck was always deposited on time.

MBT is a 21st Century capitalist dumpster fire for the working class! Beware of this agency!…read more After registering with MBT in 2021, [I was never offered work] out of nowhere, I was called for a call center position that was advertised as a fully remote FT temporary position. When I asked about the equipment set up, I was told it was a laptop, cell phone and monitor. When I went to pick up the equipment, it was twice as much as I expected and even worse; MBT and the client did not disclose that the equipment was not WIFI compatible! I was expected to hardwire into my router, or I could not work remotely. At no point during the initial job "pitch" from MBT, [or interview with the client], did anyone from MBT disclose the truth about having to physically hardwire into a router. It was only after I accepted the position that I found out the hardwire was required. This business should be closed immediately. It is unprofessional for any "owner" or recruiter to "bait and switch" candidates. The unethical and exploitative choice to purposely lie about the position was made at my expense and when I proved what I had been told through multiple emails, there was no accountability from anyone at MBT. Abusive business practices like MBT's directly harm working class people. When unethical employers like MBT waste the skills, experience, time, energy, money, and resources of the working class, they are taking legitimate job opportunities from the workers who need and deserve it the most. The working class depends on legitimate job opportunities to survive capitalism. Recruiters and "owners" who choose to lie about the conditions of employment, directly harm working class people and the choice to exploit workers during the fourth year of the pandemic is abusive , period. This business is corrupt, and, in my situation, the "owner" [one of three] allowed another "owner/recruiter" who caused this situation, to circumvent ALL accountability of having not disclosed that the position required a hardware set up. What job in 21st Century capitalism requires a hardwire set up from home?! Stay away from MBT.

I have worked with two other staffing agencies but neither of them have treated me as well as AppleOne. Just a couple of days after our first meeting Justin had gotten me an interview. He sent along a packet of information that really helped me to prep for the interview process. Turned out after making the drive from Everett into Ballard I wasn't as thrilled with the position and I just couldn't see myself doing that every day. Not their fault, I had told Justin that I was willing to work in that area, and I would be for the perfect position but this just wasn't it. I let Justin know that I was not interested in that position but he didn't stop working for me. I took it as a learning experience and I kept looking. A week later he had another interview for me in a position that seems like a perfect fit. I am going back for a second interview tomorrow and regardless if I get the position or not I cannot thank Justin enough for making it happen and for guiding me through the process.

Okay, I might be a bit biased about the quality of the software engineering talent because I'm one of them. My team at Microsoft hired InConsulting to take care of their contracting needs and I cannot be happier with their services. They have a really quick turnaround and I feel very well taken care of. From the time I started working with them, they've been very up front about timeline, cost structure and other things that I needed to know. They're a small firm, so there's a personal touch to everything, which I think makes all the difference. My Microsoft hiring team is also happy because of the quick turnaround time and the fact that they're only charging an 8% rate (as opposed to the 25-35% industry standard). If you're looking for engineering talents for short- and long-term needs, I'd definitely recommend checking out InConsulting.
