A staffing agency makes their money by supplying companies with workers either on a temporary are permanent basis. Unless you are paying a staffing agency a fee to find you employment, then the staffing agency's fiduciary responsibility is to the company that is paying them. You need to understand and accept this if you are going to work with a staffing agency. Here's how you benefit from the relationship... Staffing agencies can give you the opportunity/connection to network, learn, and build your resume with world-class business organizations that are extremely challenging to get your foot in the door. Once in though, it's up to YOU to prove yourself and work toward finding your dream job. You can't walk in and expect your dream job to be handed to you. Competition for good jobs in good markets is tough. You have to come at it by assessing the situation for fit, figuring out where YOU can add value in ways that align with your career objectives, get along with ALL the players (putting your ego in check), make a plan, STAY POSITIVE, and execute on it. Oh and by the way, all that work might NOT lead to a permanent job. Don't expect that, if you do you will fail at staying positive. However, know that all the work you are doing is being added to your resume. The way you are handling the situation is being noted by all those you are working with. They will remember you, refer you, and be a reference for you. If played right, over time you will land your dream job. He didn't even ask about my goals or what I wanted to achieve--he just focused on my visa status and made me feel like I didn't belong. At which point the employer cut their contract with smart talent because they were charging a ridiculous amount for me. I think about 3 times my pay. The next 3 jobs they offered me had nothing to do with welding and the last one I took they sold it to me as welding but it was actually painting and it paid $2 less than they originally had said. When I quit my job they informed me that they were going to pay me minimum wage for my last paycheck instead of our agreed upon amount.

After asking around, all other contract employees with a JD were making $12 an hour more than I was. Kibby thinks this is fine since I was ultimately offered the job, but it's a job that wasn't close to what I was looking for, it's essentially call center work (which Kibby promised it would NOT be.), and after 6 months, because Kibby short changed me, I had made $12,480 less than all my peers with JDs. It's been over a year since I used ESP, my experience still bothers me when ESP comes up in conversation. People with less experience and less degrees coming from different recruiters all made more than me. I can't recommend avoiding Kibby and ESP strongly enough. UPDATE: After skimming the other reviews, people who are full white seem to have done better than me with Kibby and ESP.
