I have worked with several employment agencies over the years, but I have never had an experience…read moresuch as I had today! I was treated as if I was their paying client! I did NOT meet with just one person, the assistant of the person who had contacted me. No. I was treated to a round table discussion with a team that would be working with me to find the right position! I learned things in that meeting that made it worthwhile regardless of any outcome. If you are looking for work, I highly recommend them!

I have worked with two other staffing agencies but neither of them have treated me as well as AppleOne. Just a couple of days after our first meeting Justin had gotten me an interview. He sent along a packet of information that really helped me to prep for the interview process. Turned out after making the drive from Everett into Ballard I wasn't as thrilled with the position and I just couldn't see myself doing that every day. Not their fault, I had told Justin that I was willing to work in that area, and I would be for the perfect position but this just wasn't it. I let Justin know that I was not interested in that position but he didn't stop working for me. I took it as a learning experience and I kept looking. A week later he had another interview for me in a position that seems like a perfect fit. I am going back for a second interview tomorrow and regardless if I get the position or not I cannot thank Justin enough for making it happen and for guiding me through the process.

I'm so thrilled to have passed the 5-year mark with the family I was placed with, and I couldn't have dreamed of a better match. I am truly a member of the family and imagine sharing milestones and making memories for a long time to come. The staff at SNN is not only warm, but so careful and comprehensive. They screen both sides with precise thoroughness, devoted care and attention, and yet made the entire process a breeze. I was always confident in the safety and security for all of us. Be ready for the fast-track - they are committed to quick placement, offering multiple yet thoughtful options to make sure both sides have a great selection when finding the perfect pairing. I can't recommend them enough for negotiating the best packages for employees, they really know the value of our time and care. New parents can rest assured they are getting their money's worth and only the best of the best will make the cut. Elite yet down-to-earth is a reality. Find loving placement with Seattle Nanny Network - I sure did. Thank you SNN, for providing me a connection to more than a job - you provided a connection to a lifetime of love.

Is it ok for a nanny to walk out at a job that she has been at for 1.3 years( last feb through this…read moreJune). with the same schedule and the same family? Hannah givens was a nanny we hired through seattle nanny after paying the agency a placement fee close to 6000$. We had all duties and all the hours outlined in the contract. She was working the same schedule for 30.5 hours outlined in her contract. During her tenure she had a major life change (got engaged) but communicated her choice to keep the job with us, this was around spring this year. After her life change, she started calling out quite a lot, and called out sick either in the morning or in the evening. We sat down and had a conversation with her to understand if she still wanted to work with us which is when she tells us she is relocating to Marysville from where she is living right now. She said in order for her to continue working she needs to condense her schedule as she now has to drive from Marysville. So not only did we change our schedules to accommodate her request but we moved my son's pre-k school closer to home to help lessen her drive time. his previous school was a little further away from home. After all of these efforts, she simply sent a text message on June 28th around 10.30 am resigning from her position. no call, no email, NO NOTICE. AND BLOCKED ALL TEXTING AND CALLING FROM US TO HER. And guess what ! she had a copy of my house keys, my son's car seat, and my credit card as she did the groceries for us. After multiple attempts by Seattle nanny to contact her she responded later in the evening. Until then I had already contacted the Kirkland police department to see if someone needed to go check in on her. we literally thought something happened to her!!!!! only to find out she was avoiding talking to us!!!! wow! Then I spoke with my son who is 4.5 years old explaining to him that his nanny won't be returning, which is when he started talking and he told us she wasn't giving him food and was hitting him if she looked sad!!! I communicated this to the agency as well. The agency asked me why did we still choose to keep her if she was like this? I explained to them that my son has never complained about her in the past, if anything they seemed to enjoy each other's company. and I wanted to make sure he wasn't fabricating things and there was also truth to it. plus change is very hard on children, changing a nanny isn't easy and is completely avoidable if possible. I have so many unanswered questions about why there was no follow-up after the one call from Emily to help accommodate us. And that call too, Emily hung up abruptly. People's livelihood depends on help to a large extent! I am in healthcare and so is my husband! if people are paying you, there has to be accountability from the agency's end!!!! there was nothing done except we were told that she wouldn't work for them anymore! why would she leave if she never communicated her need for more money, more hours, fewer hours, or more PTO? At least have the decency to tell us it's not working anymore, give us a notice and leave! And for the agency, I honestly recommended so many of my patients and friends and I don't feel comfortable recommending anyone honestly because of the way they treated us and didn't even offer a replacement nanny at a subsidized cost.
