Decent food here! And they give you a lot, fairly priced I probably have enough left over until Sunday if I wanted to. I arrived at 6am as the only customer and within 15 minutes the place was packed to the brim, good local breakfast spot for the early risers with good service, very good home fries and like the one reviewer said those were some of the best plain grits I've had up in the north, my only bone to pick would be to CLEAN that griddle grease trap, maybe it's for added flavor haha other than that I would come back here

Herb Diner was OK, food was reasonably price and the portions were good... I was somewhat disappointed because they didn't have cheddar cheese to add to the grits. the shrimp were good( Large fried jumbo shrimp) eggs was scrambled nicely. The only downside was no cheddar cheese for my grits just American cheese as we all know, if you're a foodie American cheese just doesn't cut it you need cheddar in your grits. I would visit the diner again in the future, if I'm ever in the area.

Salmon cakes, grits and eggs. Very nice. Everyone cannot make salmon cakes so I'm happy Herb can.

His goto place for years now mine. Met the sweetest niece of the owner Herb named Sylvia who made sure we had everything we needed. Food was yummylicious so bring your extra stomach because you'll need it. We will certainly return. Thanks guys.

My dad introduced my brother and I to this family restaurant before they relocated. Really nice family owned small business, all the food made and served with love! The new place is more spacious and visible to attract new customers, however less parking (street parking only) with alternate side parking on Mon/Tue. Food is always good...typical breakfast choices for us: waffles (comes with powdered sugar, cinnamon and butter), fried or baked whiting, grits or breakfast/lunch sandwiches.

I always love trying something off their seasonal pizza menu; during my most recent visit, I loved their maple bacon pizza, which had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. They don't accept reservations, so expect it to be pretty busy, especially during the weekends. Note that they also only have a limited cold food menu during the off hour between lunch and dinner.

So, I decided to give it a try for dinner. They don't accept reservations. I arrived around 6:30 pm on a Friday to avoid crazy wait times, but still had to wait ~40 minutes. It didn't feel very long since the waiting area has a mobile wine/beer bar outside & you're able to order drinks from the restaurant as well while you wait. I didn't come with kids, but I saw a lot of families waiting. It was a kid friendly space. The inside was quite dim & it kept getting dimmer as the night progressed. I didn't love this, but it didn't bother me as much either. Pizza was delicious, and the bread tasted very fresh. The pictures show an individual pizza size, which we were told might not be big enough to share, but we made it work amongst 3 girls. Service was fast - I assume since they're trying to free up tables quickly. I'd recommend going at a non-peak time if you don't like to wait, but definitely worth a try even if for takeout!

Chicken was good, gave me KFC feels. Temperature was super hot. We had to wait a bit for it to cool done. The spaghetti was so good. I like the lil hot dogs or whatever is really in it. I grew up like that. The sauce though was really good. Like a sweet BBQ almost. They topped it with cheese which of course was all too good. I also got the Aloha burger. I think I will always get that there. It is so tasty! The sauces and angus burger just tasted sooo good! I also got the bacon chicken sandwich, the mayo was sooo good on that. I think it was an umami mayo or something. I got both pies and both did not disappoint! We got there right on time too because there was only two other people and as we sat down to wait for our food, a huge rush came in. Good to know the people like it! Also, this location, they need to check on bathrooms because it was no bueno... *NEXT DAY ORDERED FOR DELIVERY I wanted to try the angus deluxe since it seems to be the popular burger... It was okay. I will stand by that Aloha burger though. Too good! I did try the fries this time and meh... I think they were undercooked... wasn't a fan. Note on pics: I took more pictures through the app but looks like they didn't all take. I did have a nice pic of the burger and a better pic of the chicken sandwich.

I ordered a ala carte cheeseburger in the drive thru. I paid 6.85 for the burger and asked to pull ahead and bring it out to me. And so I pulled ahead and waited, and waited, and waited. I finally got my "burger" at 12:40 pm, after I went inside to get what the holdup was. Went back to my car, and it was a spicy chicken sandwich, not the burger I ordered. Unacceptable. When I told the women who brought me the chicken sandwich I questioned her on the time and she said they are understaffed. Do Better Jollibee.
