They lived up to their promise to get me the system that I wanted for my truck. originally the manufacturer of the alarm system I purchased sent the wrong item, so they installed it with the temporary parts to meet my deadline before I left for vacation, and as soon as I came back they scheduled me to install the correct system all within the original quoted price. Simply checking out the cars they do work for as well as the condition of the shop shows their attention to detail. Best of all they are friendly to deal with and charge reasonable rates!

In an industry where it would have been incredibly easy to "play games" or simply point to the fact that the warranty period had long since passed, Folbeck did the exact opposite. Instead of making excuses, they stood behind their reputation. They took the vehicle in immediately and performed all the necessary corrective work completely free of charge. Not only was the craftsmanship excellent this time around, but they also handled it in a very timely manner, getting me back on the road with minimal downtime. Took my vehicle in to have a lift kit installed and 9 months later I started to hear a noise when…read moremaking sharp turns. I got an oil change and looked underneath when on the rack and found both sway bar end links had popped off at the bottom end. Took pictures and found out they didn't match the sway bar end links that came with HRG Offroad 2 in lift kit that Folbeck had ordered. Took it in to Folbeck and Mitchell looked underneath and verified that indeed the sway bar end links had not been replaced with the new ones. The excuse was that HRG probably didn't send the end links with the kit. I pointed out that on the HRG website it shows a picture of all the parts included in the package and if they didn't send them then they should have informed HRG. It also states on the website specifically DO NOT USE OEM SWAY BAR END LINKS WITH THE LIFT KIT. I pointed this out to Mitchell also. He said he would order the new end links and put them on. The problem I have is there was no apology for not paying attention to detail for job they performed. There really is no excuse for not making sure you have all the correct parts AND following the instructions given by the manufacturer. There is no confidence on my part that the rest of the job was done correctly. To be fair, both Mitchell and Donny were very cordial and corrected the issue with no charge. But never admitted that they screwed up, thus no apology. Also to be fair. I took in my Ford F150 to have a leveling kit installed and they did a great job.

A month ago I called up Exotix Designs to schedule a side mirror wrap. I inquired about a specific day and time and a male who identified himself as Eric over the phone scheduled me down for the selected day at 9:00am. The day before my appointment I called Exotix Designs to ask about a price estimate, which again Eric picked up the phone and assisted me with an estimate. Very cool, I was excited for the appointment everything was lined up and I had enough cash to pay for the service. I pulled up to Exotik Designs approximately 15 minutes ahead of the appointment time. Mind you this is a Thursday morning at 845am. The business was empty. Not one light on. I understand that sometimes life happens, stuff pops up. I took a photograph outside the business to add to Yelp in excitement. Just after 9am I called Exotix Designs phone number. After many rings, Eric picked up the phone. I reminded him of the scheduled appointment he booked me for. Eric told me he was running late and to just drop the Porsche keys in the key box. Eric continued to tell me he wouldn't have a time estimate for job completion and that his 2-3 employees were also busy and he was busy running a business. I was pretty dumbfounded with the phone conversation. First off, I've never met you Eric and no way in hell am I dropping my wives Porsche off at your shop without checking you out. Second, how does a legit business owner who wants my business blow off a scheduled appointment. I'm not someone who just trusts people who blow me off and let the Porsche keys fly to a key box without knowing the person who's touching our property. To wrap this up, reading one of the other 12 undetailed Yelp reviews for this business I get the vibe that Eric doesn't really care about his customers and his last phone conversation with me confirmed that. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. Eric never even followed up with me over the phone to reschedule. His loss. If you are a car enthusiast who values service and respect for one's time I'd stay as far away from this shop as possible. The best part of this entire experience was Exotix Designs business hours on their front door listed Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and on their website! Knock knock...nobody's home! One star review, I won't ever be back!

They didn't mask off enough of the bumper so they ended up sanding parts of my bumper leaving it dull in spots. They must have hand cut the material because now I have razor blade marks on the plastic of the headlight lens. And because of one of those scratches the material didn't stick in that area well and is now starting to lift. Can't get anyone to answer the phone. Do yourself a favor and avoid dealing with the headache. There are other places in town that are more expensive, so I guess you get what you pay for.

There were numerous bubbles (after six weeks) and the PPF wasn't trimmed properly. The owner, Dexter, has sold the building and has closed the business. He sent me to another shop to complete the job, but they can't because they aren't an authorized dealer of the brand of material that was used on my car. This is not the way to run (and close) a business!
