Upon arrival for my appointment, they informed me that they are out of network for VSP. I mentioned that the person that scheduled my appointment assured me that they take VSP, they said then said that they do. They told me to pay for the appointment then and they would give me a receipt that could be submitted to VSP and VSP might reimburse some portion of the visit. Obviously, they are out of network and don't take VSP. What a waste of time. Not fun getting jerked around either...

He wrote a prescription without talking to me about astigmatism. I can't wear my glasses without getting dizzy. When checking out, the desk staff was pretty rude. Then I got a reminder to attend my follow up? For what? They automatically scheduled me for two appointments without checking my schedule or asking me to attend. It feels very paternalistic, doesn't feel like I was involved as a participant in my care. I didn't feel comfortable there and won't go back. Why should my insurance (or a patient) pay for appointments every three months if there's no ongoing treatment?

I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others…read more I purchased two pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses from this location on April 16 -- one regular pair and one pair of Meta sunglasses. When I returned just two days later to return one pair, the store manager, Suzanne, flat-out refused. First she said they don't accept returns on "floor samples," then changed her reasoning to "non-prescription glasses." When I asked to see the return policy, she wouldn't show it to me and simply said she was the associate in charge and wouldn't allow it. Even more disturbing, when the associate who sold me the sunglasses (Jameel) appeared confused by her response, she publicly scolded him and accused us of some kind of collusion -- right in front of me. It was awkward, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate. Despite the receipt and ForEyes' website clearly stating a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and allowing returns within 30 days, Suzanne refused to honor it. I had to make multiple calls to customer service over several weeks before I was finally able to speak with a regional manager, who had to personally step in and get the store to issue my refund -- over a month after the original purchase. I did eventually get my money back, but it should not have taken that level of persistence. This store's manager was dismissive, rude, and out of line. I will not be returning, and I recommend others shop elsewhere or online to avoid similar treatment.

Both times I have been very happy with the quality of the optical work (I'm talking how the lenses correct my vision, not frame styling). Things there just seem to take longer. Another shop I tried did not do such high quality lens work. Lenses here were just better for my eyes. The gory details: First off, the hours are keyed to an old-fashioned doctor's schedule -- you know, closed on Wednesdays. Open during the hours you work, except Thursday night. Let me throw in a positive -- the staff have always been super friendly. They seem genuinely happy to see each customer. The doctor enjoys talking about his craft -- for instance did you know why they use a red/green brightness/contrast test at the end of distance vision correction? Prismatics! Cool! Back to the downers: they are not very communicative. If your lenses are taking twice as long as expected, expect to hear nothing. When lenses come in, maybe you will get a call, but certainly not the same day. If you call and leave a message on the answering machine, they will get it and start work, but won't call to confirm. Sadness: I brought my Google Glass to the shop to get lenses fitted -- the super cool new version that takes prescription lenses in a titanium frame. Long story short, about two months later I am still not wearing them. They had to send to a special lab to make the lenses. OK, its custom. Lab did not use the right glass, but no one noticed. Back to the lab. New lenses don't fit the frames. Back to the lab. Still waiting... First world problems, I guess.

They work hard to support their patients and help them out the best they can. This is a really sweet family run operation. In May 2026, I purchased a new pair of progressive, transition, and scratch-resistant lenses using my VSP coverage. Despite paying over $200 out-of-pocket--significantly more than the $40 I paid for the exact same lens options the previous year--I recently discovered three scratches in the middle of my lens. When I returned to the store to ask about having the damaged lenses repaired or replaced, I was informed that I could not be helped because I had not purchased a warranty. At no point during my transaction in May, or during my previous visit in 2025, was a warranty ever offered or mentioned to me. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, an employee dismissed my concern by claiming that "everyone says that." It is unacceptable to be blamed for not purchasing coverage that was never offered. As a returning customer, I am extremely disappointed with both the lack of transparency during the sales process and the unprofessional response from your staff when I sought a resolution. I am requesting that Visionworks review this situation and honor a lens replacement for my damaged glasses. I look forward to hearing from you regarding how this matter will be resolved.
