She was supposed to leave by 6 because she had a delivery that day but she waited 10 more mins (I was stuck in traffic) to be able to get a cake for my sister's birthday. Talk about amazing customer service! I've had many cakes from Tina's bakery before (thanks to my fam that love their work)....they all taste so delicious and are always beautifully decorated. I'll post some of the ones they've made for my family's birthdays...all so wonderful! I love that the cakes are always moist and most importantly...they offer Nutella as an option as the stuffing yummy!!!! A simple cake for 10 people starts at $35...good quality cake so I'm willing to pay for it. They make customized cakes as well...doesn't seem that they have any limit to their imagination. Overall highly recommend this bakery...they sell cakes, cookies, and other delicious sweet. Wishing you a sweet life

This is the…read moreexperience I had with them: The day of my cake tasting (two months before my wedding) my parents and I told Tina's Original Cakes that we wanted a cake similar in size to the cake on the display (picture attached, the big one). They told me that my package included with the venue did not include that size, but that they were going to add cardboard to the cake to make it look bigger. They said they did that all the time, and that it was not a problem. We said awesome, that works. So fast forward to TWO DAYS before my wedding, and they send me an IM (they don't even call me) telling me that the "owner had not approved the cardboard upgrade, and that what they told me the day of my cake tasting was incorrect. That if I wanted a bigger cake, I had to pay for the upgrade." I told them they had to honor what they said since it was in the contract, and they weren't giving me any notice to find another vendor for my dream cake. However, they refused to honor the "cardboard upgrade". After speaking back and forth for a while, they said that they could do the height "2 inches less" than what I had requested, but they failed to mention that it would be 2 inches less for EACH TIER, not in total. I also paid an additional $50 to not have the top tier with any cardboard (they said they would put cardboard to make the cake look bigger, but the cake didn't look bigger to me at ALL (picture of my wedding cake attached, the smaller cake). It also looks slanted and it tasted dry. And when we compromised on the "2 inches less" they sent me a picture of what the height of my cake would look like, but my wedding cake did not look like that at all (picture attached, cake with IM conversation). The day after my wedding, I told them I wanted a refund and that I wasn't happy, but again, they also refused to work with me on something that they clearly messed up in. Hence I just wanted to let everyone know (especially brides) that this place does not care one hoot about customer service and they won't honor what they promise. The owner also refused to call me when THEY were the one that made the mistake. They added additional stress that I did not need so close to my wedding day. And the cake of my dreams turned out to be something completely different than what I had in mind. Luckily every single thing on my wedding was incredible and all vendors were amazing except for this bad experience. If I could give 0 stars I would!

I went with one of the small jars to try it out. $10 for a small one. It was very delicious but the way to order and pickup was quite hectic as the munchlabs people are quite slammed. I was so excited to order a birthday cake from Cakeology after seeing all the high ratings. Sadly,…read moremy experience was the complete opposite of what those reviews promised. I picked the cake up and we tried it the same day, so freshness was never an issue on my end, and it was still dry, hard and stale, like it had been sitting in a fridge for days. When I went to pick up, I realized the cake comes out of a location shared by multiple food businesses - not an actual bakery or storefront. That explained a lot. There's NO real accountability, no quality control you can see, just cakes handed off from a shared kitchen. On top of that, it was overwhelmingly sweet. Not sweet in a good way, but so much sugar that my stomach started hurting and I got a migraine shortly after. My partner took one bite and literally had to spit it out because he couldn't eat it. For the price I paid, I expected a fresh, moist, beautifully made cake and what I got was neither fresh nor edible. Between the glowing ratings, the price and the actual product, I feel scammed. I wanted to make my partner's birthday special and this cake did the opposite - it ruined the moment for us and felt like a complete waste of money. I would NOT recommend this and I'm asking for a refund. A product this far from what was advertised should not be final sale
