We were very pleased with the way things were going. We had finalized the details, and paid a $15,000 deposit. The next week, we hear from our consultant, that she had been let go as part of a large staff reduction. At first we were going to stay with Ferguson, but the next day we were called and told that our consultant had made a mistake on a piece of cabinetry, so they were canceling our contract and refunding our money. They gave us no other options on all that we had done, and we could come in and start the process all over again. We felt this was a very unprofessional way to business. We will not be recommending this business to anyone.

Callier Thompson had renovated one of our 2nd floor bathrooms almost a decade earlier. I was more than surprised to hear they would send a foreman out to investigate the source of the leak. Matthew arrived to discover that after years of use a small area in the grout had deteriorated to allow water through. He cane several times to repair the grout, removed and replaced the damaged area of the ceiling re-sanded and repainted.....all done free for us! You don't find that kind of support often these days. Designing exactly what we wanted was so easy to do working with Scott Scarfino, the owner's son. Scott came to our house himself to take measurements before he ordered anything, he came by several times during the renovation process to help out and check on the progress. Jerry, the contractor that did all the work was at our house every day until the job was completed. After it was completed, he had my husband and I look over everything to make sure we were satisfied with everything before he left. The following day, Scott came by to look at everything and wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. There were no hidden costs, the renovation cost exactly what they quoted us. Down the road we have some more work that we're wanting to have done at our house and Gateway Kitchen & Bath will be the company that we will go to for that work. Great, great experience.

They do not respect us as customers deserving of even mid-quality work, and they don't seem to recognize the degree of utterly unnecessary inconvenience and disruption that they continue to inflict upon our family. Our bathrooms are still unfinished (only one shower is available for 4 of us), we can't move our stuff back into these spaces to use them reliably, and our garage bay has been full of supplies for 4 months. The work that we can see is so sloppy that it makes me genuinely afraid of the work that we can't see. The only reason this project is finally moving again is because John has begun to prioritize this project and he's been finding time to resolve issues one by one. We genuinely appreciate that, but why isn't this company ensuring that this project gets the labor, resources and quality control to finally get it completed correctly?

This is ONE store I could spend a lot of time . . . just looking. I had six coupons, most of which had expired. But they took them all. Little Sis bought a boatload of stuff. I bought what was on my list . . . and had been on my list for a long time: Calphalon skillets, paired as two -- a ten-inch and an eight-inch for $50 . . . regularly $85. And freezie things -- I don't know the name -- those things you put in your freezer and then can put them in your cooler to keep sodas cold. But I got two to replace two I have that seemed to be getting softer and less weighty. I figured they were leaking their juice, and I don't know what their juice is -- so I thought that could be bad business. So, they went to the trash as soon as I got home. I bypassed a two-year pocket calendar for $6, saying to Big Sis I thought that was expensive. I believe she cringed. But I stood by it.

For example, the Scrub Daddy. It's a cleaning sponge and they don't sell them at Target or Walmart (at least not that I've seen). Also I buy my K-cups here. I've also made a few bigger purchases; a Keurig, comfortor, etc. I can't say enough about the customer service at this location. I tried using an expired coupon at the Brentwood location and the cashier told me he couldn't honor it but if I came back with a valid coupon he could do a price adjustment. This location has always honored my coupons, expired or not. One day I couldn't even find my coupon and the cashier at this location scanned one she already had for me! Also, we got a Keurig for Christmas that broke and without a receipt or even the box it came in, they let me exchange it for a new one without any hassle. These guys are great!!!

I had assumed that it would be too expensive, and that it would not be competitive with Home Depot, Lowes, etc.. I could not have been more wrong. They had gorgeous tiles, huge selection and many items were in stock and on sale. The tile I selected was actually significantly less than similar tiles that I had looked at Home Depot and Menards. What made the experience even better was the excellent customer care. Rhonda was amazing. She was so patient, knowledgeable, and led me to the perfect tile for our project. I am looking forward to working with them again for our next remodel. Incredible selection, great value, and superb staff.

We shopped at several local tile shops always feeling like the staff didn't care about customers at all. Then we walked in to St. Louis Tile in Ballwin. You will be made to feel like you and your project are the primary reason they go to work. Needless to say we are thrilled we stopped by that day to see what they offered and won't bother with any other "tile shops" going forward. Kelly is very inexperienced when quoting projects and will definitely bait and switch her pricing mid project, not to mention her attempt to nickel and dime you along the way. she agreed to a price and is now not willing to finish the project if we don't agree to her new price. I would not trust this company to build me a dog house, nor would I trust Kelly, the way that she treats those who contract with her is just unbelievable. Unless you want to end up in court with this company please make sure she is quoting you correctly up front. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

One company said I'd have to get several companies to coordiate it all, but this one did it all, and at a fair price. The owner stressed she wanted to make sure I was completely happy and suggested I wait to pay her after I'd had a chance to make sure everything was perfect. Even after payment, she said to give her a call if I have any problems. I hope to have them do some other projects I have coming up.
