They have a HUGE selection for starters. Plus, their knowledge of the appliances is head over heels over the top from the box stores. Lastly, they compare their prices to anything around (online or at the box stores) to get you the best price! Our delivery (cost depends on what you are getting but for the fridge was just $79 and includes haul away) is next week which I will update how that goes. But, Codey and crew were AMAZING, and we don't plan on going anywhere else in the future for appliances. Give them a try if you need something. Their delivery crew was top notch as well! A crew of 3 guys that made the install/haul away look easy! They were on time and kept me updated with a link that showed where they were along their route for the day. The guys were all nice and knew their jobs well.

I decided I either wanted the Speed Queen TC5, no frills, workhorse washing machine. I searched around and saw that Appliance Discounters had this washing machine on display so yesterday we went there in hopes of buying one. We got there, saw it, and said, 'Yep, that's the one we want.' So we sat down with Donna and she said that they have them in stock but while the showroom is open on Saturdays the warehouse where the machines are is closed on the weekend and they could deliver it on Monday. We could have made that work if we had to but with Christmas coming up this week and us about to leave on vacation we really had hoped to get the washer yesterday. I had saw some videos on YouTube about the Maytag Commercial and Lowes had those in stock so we decided we would go look at it and decide if we wanted to wait until Monday or if we would just go with the Maytag. That's when their customer service and problem solving skills really shined. They said, 'Well, we're going to be closing in about an hour and we'll be closed tomorrow and on Monday we can just get the new machine here right when we open. That machine you see on the sales floor was literally just put on display on Tuesday. I can't discount it for you but I'll be glad to package it back up and sell it to you.' YES PLEASE! So we paid for it, ran home to get the truck and came back and it was all wrapped up and ready to go! We didn't plan for our washer to bite the dust during one of the most hectic weeks of the year but we're so glad we were able to get the machine we really wanted exactly when we needed it! In the past we have…read morebought a SPEED QUEEN washer and dryer that were well priced, delivered on time, etc. It was such a nice experience that when our Dishwasher died, Suzanne and I, after some online product research, were pleased to find that Slyman Brothers offered the top-of-the-line Bosch Dishwashers. Jake, our Sales Associate was very knowledgeable regarding the different Bosch models' features and benefits. He answered all our questions clearly. But even more helpful was that when I explained my concern that our Dishwasher which died was the original dishwasher from 1994, and since we had new granite counters installed some years afterwards would a new Bosch Dishwasher fit and work properly. Without hesitation Jake offered to come to our home and measure the space, etc. to be sure a new one could fit and work. He made an appointment for a quick visit to measure the space and assess the plumbing set up, etc. At our home, after checking, Jake assured us that the new Bosch Dishwasher would be fine. We bought the 800 Series 24" Dishwasher later that day! Jake truly went that "extra mile" that you very seldom see in today's retail environment. This is why Suzanne and I awarded a well-deserved 5 Stars Review to Slyman Brothers.

After the delivery people left, we discovered that the dryer didn't work. The store was closed, so we called first thing the next morning, assuming they would of course take it back. Nope. The "customer experience team" told us we would have to wait for their contracted repair person and actually had the nerve to say they would have taken it back if we had refused delivery, but since we had accepted the dryer, it was our problem. As though we could have asked the delivery people to wait while we did a load of laundry and threw it in the dryer. GE did the right thing and gave us a new dryer and hauled the malfunctioning one away. But you would think that a business as big as Slyman Bros could have replaced the dryer and dealt with GE themselves. (Both the repair guy and the guys who delivered the new dryer from GE expressed surprise at Slyman's refusal to do this.) Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your appliances. These people apparently only care about making the sale and aren't concerned with customer service.

They tried for about 5 minutes and said it couldn't be done. So they just left I had to return the fridge! They had also told me I would have to hook up the water supply. Well, not at Bill's! They did a perfect job! The salesman was friendly and informative and the delivery guys were amazing!! They had to work at it, but they were very smart and experienced (and funny too). They got the old refrigerator out and perfectly installed my new one plus a new dishwasher. They really know exactly what they're doing. What a relief! This is the place to go for appliances.
