Everyone knows there are supply chain issues with appliances. It's a pain. It's inconvenient. It is not preferred. But it's what is going on. Casey L has worked with me over the last year or so to get me appliances in my remodeled kitchen. It's been a feat and through it all she has been communicative and accommodating. Shaun Robinson did a great job of explaining the details and setting us up with a new Bosch dishwasher. The installers, James and Steve, were very friendly and professional and completed their work in a timely manner. I would rate 5 stars, but the tape that was on the front of the dishwasher was not removed prior to delivery, but using some Goo Gone and elbow grease I was able to remove the tape. read more

Our old washer broke down and the parts would have been $250. I didn't want to spend that much on parts only for something else to eventually go wrong. I decided I either wanted the Speed Queen TC5, no frills, workhorse washing machine. I searched around and saw that Appliance Discounters had this washing machine on display so yesterday we went there in hopes of buying one. We got there, saw it, and said, 'Yep, that's the one we want.' So we sat down with Donna and she said that they have them in stock but while the showroom is open on Saturdays the warehouse where the machines are is closed on the weekend and they could deliver it on Monday. We could have made that work if we had to but with Christmas coming up this week and us about to leave on vacation we really had hoped to get the washer yesterday. I had saw some videos on YouTube about the Maytag Commercial and Lowes had those in stock so we decided we would go look at it and decide if we wanted to wait until Monday or if we would just go with the Maytag. That's when their customer service and problem solving skills really shined. They said, 'Well, we're going to be closing in about an hour and we'll be closed tomorrow and on Monday we can just get the new machine here right when we open. That machine you see on the sales floor was literally just put on display on Tuesday. I can't discount it for you but I'll be glad to package it back up and sell it to you.' YES PLEASE! So we paid for it, ran home to get the truck and came back and it was all wrapped up and ready to go! We didn't plan for our washer to bite the dust during one of the most hectic weeks of the year but we're so glad we were able to get the machine we really wanted exactly when we needed it! I was in need of a new refrigerator so I went to appliance discounters to check their inventory. My refrigerator is a little difficult to find because of its size but luckily they carried it. They didn't have my refrigerator in store but they did have it at a different location therefore I never saw the actual product prior to delivery. To my chagrin when my refrigerator was delivered it had three small dings in the upper right door one small ding in the lower freezer door and one ding on the left side housing. Unfortunately I didn't notice the damage until after the delivery truck had left. I called the young lady who I purchased a product from the following day to advise. After having to go around and around with them on the phone they finally agreed to provide a discount due to the damage as the refrigerator was on back order. Approximately a week later I received a call back from the young lady advising me that they would refund $200 off of my $2600 refrigerator! If that point I was just done with dealing with them. I will not return them to them for replacement of my additional appliances and I will advise you to look somewhere else as well. Moving forward I will shop with someone who stands behind their products not someone looking to make a sale at all costs and not looking to do right by their customers. read more

We bought a dryer from Appliance Discounters after a recommendation from our daughter. Justin was very knowledgeable, professional but down to earth. I did a lot of research before buying a suite of kitchen appliances. Again, Justin was very helpful and knowledgeable. We got an amazing price and also a nice rebate from Samsung. Their delivery team is great. The guys were hardworking, careful and gave helpful training on all appliances. This is one of the best places to buy appliances, period. This is my second time purchasing from Appliance Discounters. This time bought a Bosch dishwasher. I spent several weeks researching dishwashers The one I landed on was not in stock ANYWHERE. Literally a two week wait to order. Walked into this store and talked with Brian. He showed me several Bosch dishwashers. Landed on an 800 series at a extremely discounted price because it was a last year model. Made my selection, paid and was out the door in less than 30 minutes. . On top of that I was able to get the dishwasher installed for free 3 days later. A shout out to James the installer. Super fast and very friendly. James made quick work removing the old unit and the new one went in just as fast. He walked us through operation and triple check everything to make sure it was working correctly before he left. Nice job James! read more

My wife and I were recently in the market for a refrigerator. We had heard several advertisements for this company and a good friend recommended Appliance Discounters as well. We decided to check them out. We made a visit to the St. Charles store and looked around the store without any pressure to buy anything. Once we had somewhat decided on a model, Donna helped us with the details and we made the purchase. It was a very pleasant buying experience. The delivery was made as scheduled in the time frame given. The delivery guys were wonderful (John and Roy) and were very professional under trying circumstances. As it turned out, we had not measured in the area of the smallest width and the refrigerator absolutely would not fit. They had to take it back out and re-install the old one. While they were still here, a call was made to the store on getting the next smaller size delivered and the exchange was made with no hassles and a reduced price to boot and we were not charged for a second delivery even though it was our fault. The new one was delivered and installed the following week (again John and this time Austin) and they again were most professional with smiles on their faces. Adept Installation delivery and installed the new dish washer. Hauled away the old one. James and Dan were very professional, took their time, but did it in less than an hour. Horrible Service for our Flip Houses! You wont get is on the next flip! The Appliance set price was good. The top of the refrigerator door was damaged when purchased and someone was to order the replacement. Two - three weeks later I called the door was never ordered. Got the run around about why the door was not ordered. When delivered new door they didnt bring the hinges so here is another delay. Hinges finally arrive then the doors are missing shelves that also never got ordered. let's just say I was referred to call and order the shelves myself. HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM BEGINNING TO END. The price was right. Donna made sure she was lower than the 3 other places that I looked for my dishwasher at. The delivery was made in the time period I was told. After it was installed I questioned the fact that the left side of the door appeared to be sticking out further than the right. Both delivery men convinced me it just looked that way. I tipped them and they left. My daughter and I immediately left as well for another appointment. When we got home I asked her and her boyfriend what they thought and they both thought the left side of the door not only sticks out further but that the seal didn't seem as tight. I called James the owner of Adept Installation and he said if they come out and don't find anything wrong it is a service charge of $80. I haven't even used it yet. He also said I asked someone who doesn't know anything about dishwashers for their opinion. When I called, the dishwasher had barely been installed 5 hours. I won't use Appliance Discounters again because I won't use that delivery service again. When I was purchasing the dishwasher, I told Donna my daughter's boyfriend was in the market for a couple new appliances and that I told him to go see her. Unfortunately he is the one who thought the dishwasher needed to be adjusted. I guess that's another sale Appliance Discount lost because of their delivery service. read more

We purchased a dryer on a Friday no delivery available until the following Wednesday but they could not narrow down a time frame for delivery so we decided to pick it up. We get to the store on Wednesday after work to pick up only to be told their truck broke down and it never arrived at the store. No one called us to inform us this was an issue ahead of time so we did not find out about the problem until we were there. The customer service we received from the store was awful and all we were told to explain the lack of a 5 minute phone call was that they had a busy day. Doesn't seem like they care much about customer service after they have your money. We cancelled the order for the dryer and we will not be back. read more

Horrible customer service!!! We purchased 4 appliances. The refrigerator was dented. The secondary company, Mid America Appliances said it would be 3 weeks to get a new door. New door came in and it was dented, waited another 3 weeks, another door came in dented. Went to Appliance Discounters and spoke with the manager Scott. He said "what is the problem, the refrigerator works and you got a good deal". Wow, glad I didn't buy a new car from him!! He offered me a floor model door. Why would I pay for a new refrigerator and then accept a floor model. Terrible follow up and customer service. Definitely, not worth the couple of dollars I saved with the initial purchase. I have had to take 4 days off of work so far and still have a dented refrigerator door. Sad thing is they could care less. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. read more

if I could give less than 1 star I would. At first the prices seem great- don't be fooled. A lot of issues right after purchase and can't help when your appliance breaks within the 1 year mark. Was really hoping that they would at least have advice on how to handle the mfg. but didn't even get that. They have shady sales and lie about a lot. read more
